Abstract

Sentiment analysis was explored to understand social media users' opinions towards the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) through the X platform with machine learning and lexicon-based algorithms. This research uses three algorithms: Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest. The aim of this research is to test and compare the performance of the three algorithms to determine the best in classifying sentiment data from the X platform. The data consists of 10,000 tweets collected using the crawling method with the Python Harvest Library and Node.js, using keywords related to IKN. Based on the algorithm performance test, it was concluded that SVM had the highest performance compared to Naïve Bayes and Random Forest, producing an accuracy of 87%, precision 87%, recall 87%, and f-1 score 87%. This research uses the CRISP-DM Data Mining framework to ensure a structured and systematic approach to the analysis process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan lingkungan dalam pengelolaan kualitas perairan di Indonesia pada periode 2022–2025 serta menganalisis implikasinya terhadap kondisi lingkungan, kesehatan masyarakat, dan kualitas hidup di kawasan permukiman padat. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah, regulasi pemerintah, dan laporan kebijakan yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan seperti PP No. 22 Tahun 2021 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup serta Permen LHK No. 5 Tahun 2021 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah telah memberikan arah yang jelas terhadap pengendalian pencemaran air. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala berupa lemahnya pengawasan, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat. Dampak kebijakan ini di kawasan padat penduduk bersifat ganda: di satu sisi meningkatkan sanitasi dan pengelolaan limbah, tetapi di sisi lain belum sepenuhnya menekan risiko pencemaran dan penyakit berbasis air. Kajian ini menegaskan perlunya penguatan kolaborasi antarinstansi, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, serta penerapan pendekatan terintegrasi untuk mencapai pengelolaan kualitas perairan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study explores how persuasive elements in fast-food advertisements influence teenagers’ attitudes and perceptions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, ten popular McDonald’s and KFC advertisements on YouTube released in the past five years were analyzed. Each ad featured celebrity collaborations, vibrant visuals, and strong audience engagement. Visual, verbal, and audio components were examined through a semiotic framework focusing on denotation, connotation, and underlying cultural meanings. The findings reveal that teenagers mostly respond to advertisements through emotional and visual cues rather than rational evaluation. Elements such as celebrity endorsements, catchy music, humor, bright color schemes, and limited time offers strongly shaped their attitudes toward fast-food brands. A smaller group of students considered product quality and value, but these instances were less common. Overall, the advertisements present fast-food consumption as part of a modern and desirable lifestyle, influencing how teenagers form preferences and social identities. The results highlight the need for stronger media literacy and educational programs that help young people critically assess persuasive messages in digital marketing and make more informed choices in their daily media consumption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh beban kerja dan work-life balance terhadap komitmen organisasional karyawan PT Generasi Agung Perkasa di Sulawesi Tenggara. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah PT Generasi Agung Perkasa yang terletak di di Dusun 1, Watumbohoti, Kec. Palangga Sel., Kabupaten Konawe Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 40 karyawan sebagai responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta uji hipotesis guna memperoleh interpretasi hasil yang akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional karyawan. Semakin tinggi beban kerja yang dirasakan, semakin rendah tingkat komitmen karyawan terhadap organisasi. Sebaliknya, work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Karyawan yang mampu menyeimbangkan waktu dan peran antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi cenderung memiliki loyalitas, dedikasi, serta keinginan yang lebih tinggi untuk bertahan dalam organisasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen beban kerja yang proporsional dan penerapan program work-life balance yang efektif dalam membentuk dan meningkatkan komitmen organisasional karyawan.

Abstract

Unemployment remains a major issue in economic development in many countries, including Indonesia. One important indicator used to describe labor market conditions and the economy's ability to absorb the labor force is the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR). This study aims to analyze the development of the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in West Java Province during the period of 2014-2024 and to examine West Java Province's position compared to the national labor market. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method using secondary data obtained from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The analysis shows that the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in West Java Province fluctuated during the study period. In 2020, a significant increase occurred due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) reaching 10,46%. This condition indicates that labor market dynamics are influenced by several factors, such as economic growth, the size of the labor force, employment opportunities, and the availability of jobs. Therefore, the analysis of the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) is crucial as a basis for formulating effective and targeted employment policies to reduce unemployment and increase employment opportunities.
