Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of lecturer satisfaction obtained during the training. Training participants' satisfaction in the learning process is highly dependent on this research. Training participants' satisfaction in the learning process is very dependent on the resource person, the learning process in accordance with the expectations of the training participants is a reflection of the competence level of the resource person. The research approach is descriptive quantitative, the population in this study were training participants who attended the training and the sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data collection method used was a questionnaire method using a Likert scale, statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel. The results of the analysis of the level of satisfaction of lecturers with training services are measured based on the dimensions of physical form (tangible), reliability (realibility), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) and empathy (empathy) Based on the percentage and score scores have been obtained satisfaction with training services in providing training . The lecturers' assessment of the training service falls into the satisfactory category so that the tangibles and reliability aspects meet the expectations of the lecturers.

Abstract

Abstract

Optimizing the Skills of Container Terminal Operators from dock ships must have a certificate obtained through training. A certified loading and unloading equipment operator plays an important role in preventing possible accidents in the operation of loading and unloading equipment, because the operator knows and understands safe operational procedures. the skill of loading and unloading equipment operators, the research was carried out at the Soekarno-Hatta Makassar port, precisely at the Container Terminal. Sources of data obtained by means of observation, direct interviews with operators and literacy related to loading and unloading operators. based on the results of research on operator skills at the container terminal so that human resources are able to improve skills, good cooperation and coordination between parties, and pay attention to loading and unloading operational times in accordance with conditions

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif pendekaatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor tingkat pemahaman terhadap pembelajaran Permesinan Kapal pada Taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong. Pembahasan ini adalah tingkat pemahaman pembelajaran Permesinan Kapal pada Taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong dan faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman pembelajaran Permesinan Kapal pada Taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Taruna Permesinan Kapal semester 3 angkatan 66 Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong dan sampel sebanyak 5 orang Taruna. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif bersifat uraian hasil wawancara dan hasil tes dan studi dokumentasi. Dari hasil wawancara direduksi data kemudian penyajian data dan verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman pembelajaran Permesinan Kapal pada Taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong pada kategori baik yaitu pada kriteria paham dengan maksud memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam bertindak, mengetahui apa yang dilakukan dan menjadi tanggung jawabnya dalam berbagai macam situasi. Sedangkan pada faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman pembelajaran Permesinan Kapal pada Taruna Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong yaitu a) kondisi fisik taruna karena terlalu banyak kegiatan setelah pembelajaran di kelas sehingga sulit untuk belajar mandiri di asrama, b) kondisi lingkungan dan kesempatan belajar kerena banyaknya kegiatan ekstrakulikuler yang harus semua diikuti sampai jam aktivitas malam selesai dilakukan, serta c) cara mengajar dan metode yang digunakan pengajar/dosen karena setiap pengajar/dosen berbeda-beda sehingga juga mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman Taruna dalam memahami pembelajaran di kelas dan di laboratorium.

Abstract

This research was conducted during the author's sea training (Prala) on board the vessel MT.Pematang/P.1021 owned by the company PT. Pertamina International Shipping, for 9 months and 25 days. The data sources were obtained directly from the research site using field methods (observation) as well as library methods involving documents, instruction manuals, and books related to the thesis title. The results obtained from this research indicate an increase in temperature in the main engine cooling system caused by blockages in the main engine cooling system and a reduction in seawater pressure in the open cooling system due to a damaged sea chest valve caused by corrosion and rust due to the vessel's old age. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan ketika penulis melaksanakan praktek laut (Prala) di atas kapal MT.Pematang/P.1021 milik perusahaan PT. Pertamina International Shipping, selama 9 Bulan 25 hari. Sumber data yang diperoleh adalah data langsung dari tempat penelitian dengan metode lapangan (observasi) dan juga metode kepustakaan berupa dokumen-dokumen, instruction manual book serta buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan judul penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya temperatur pada system pendiangin mesin utama yang di sebabkan oleh adanya sumbatan pada system pendingin mesin utama dan terjadinya pengurangan tekanan air laut pada system pending terbuka akibat valve sea chast yang rusak karena korosi dan karatan akibat usia kapal yang terbiang sudah sangat tua.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine efforts to implement traditional boat safety standards on Lake Matano, South Sulawesi using AHP analysis. Data was obtained by observing and interviewing officers working at Lake Matano and Lake Tuwuti ports, so that several criteria were obtained as an effort to implement traditional boat safety standards on Lake Matano. From the results of the analysis it was found that the efforts that must be made to implement traditional ship safety standards with the highest weight are carrying out socialization of river and lake transport safety regulations by 11.687%, increasing supervision by 11.345%, firmness of officers so that ships comply with safety regulations by 11.069%, compliance with regulations ship safety with the character and condition of the ship 10.977% and simplifying the process of certifying ships and crew members 9.122%. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui upaya penerapan standar keselamatan kapal tradisional di Danau Matano Sulawesi Selatan dengan menggunakan analisis AHP. Data didapat dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara kepada para petugas yang bekerja di pelauhan Danau Matano dan Danau Tuwuti, sehingga didapat beberapa kriteria sebagai upaya penerapan standar keselamatan kapal tradisional di Danau Matano. Dari hasil analisa didapat bahwa upaya yang harus dilakukan untuk menerapkan standar keselamatan kapal tradisional dengan bobot tertinggi adalah melaksanakan sosialisasi peraturan keselamatan angkutan sungai dan danau sebesar 11,687%, meningkatkan pengawasan sebesar 11,345%, ketegasan petugas agar kapal memenuhi peraturan keselamatan sebesar 11,069%, kesesuaian peraturan keselamatan kapal dengan karakter dan kondisi kapal 10,977% dan mempermudah proses pembuatan sertifikasi kapal dan awak kapal 9,122%.
