Abstract

Pengaruh bidang kekar sangat mempengaruhi kestabilan pada suatu lereng batuan. Keberadaan bidang-bidang kekar tersebut dapat menjadi bidang gelincir pada suatu jenis longsoran sehingga lereng batuan dapat mengalami pergerakan. Pada penelitian ini analisis longsoran baji dilakukan pada lereng batupasir dengan tinggi 20,57 meter dengan sudut kemiringan lereng 66˚ dan terdapat 33 bidang kekar yang saling memotong.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni dengan melakukan pengukuran dilapangan dengan menggunakan metode scanline untuk mengukur bidang-bidang kekar pada sepanjang pita ukur. Analisis stereografis dilakukan pada penelitian ini untuk menentukan jumlah set orientasi bidang kekar dan analisis faktor keamanan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analitik.Hasil analisis yang dilakukan pada lokasi penelitian terdapat 33 bidang kekar dengan jumlah 3 set kekar. Analisis kinematika dengan metode stereografis menunjukkan bahwa potensi longsoran yang dapat terjadi adalah longsoran baji. Analisis kestabilan pada lereng batupasir menunjukkan bawah faktor keamanan longsoran baji sebesar 15,79 dalam hal ini lereng batupasir dapat dinyatakan dalam keadaan stabil.

Abstract

PT. Putra Elan Balindo is a company engaged in the mining sector specially the andesite minerals domiciled in Palu City. PT. Putra Elan Balindo located in Watusampu Village, Ulujadi District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, which has an IUP (Mining Business Permit) with an area of 17.89 Ha. To achieve production targets set by the company using a combination of tools mechanics in the form of Excavator Komatsu PC 400 and Dump Truck Hino FM 260 JD, where there is currently only 1 Excavator while the Dump Truck is 2 are needed with a production target of 20,000 m3 per month and have 1 shift working hours. Based on the results of research carried out for one month, it shows that the productivity of the Komatsu PC 400 Excavator is 174.29 m3 / hour and the Hino FM 260 JD Dump Truck is 197.69 m3 / hour for 2 transport equipment. The cost of owning a Hino FM 260 JD Dump Truck is Rp. 476,190/hour and the cost of owning a Komatsu PC 400 Excavator is Rp. 267,857/hour while operational costs for the Hino FM 260 JD Dump Truck are Rp. 1,862,072/ hour and operational costs for a Komatsu PC 400 Excavator Rp. 2,135,421/hour.

Abstract

Blasting activities carried out in mining activities always produce effects that will have an impact on the surrounding area of the blasting site, from some of the blasting effects that exist one of which is soil vibration, so that at the research site in Pit Jongkang which is close to the village with a distance of approximately 300-400m it is very important to measure the level of vibration leading to the village so that the results of the vibration caused by the blasting process are obtained. Based on the results of the analysis obtained the effect of the explosive charge on the vibration of the soil that is the more the explosive charge of the resulting vibration will be greater. And with the holes that explode simultaneously, the vibration caused will be large so that the use of delay time is needed to minimize the presence of holes that explode simultaneously so that the resulting vibration does not exceed the 2 mm/s vibration limit. For recommendations on the maximum amount of explosive charge so that the vibration caused does not exceed the PPV standard, namely at a distance of 300 m, and 400 m by 36 kg, and 64 kg, perdelay. With the use of the recommended surface delay is a pair of surface delay 42 ms and 67 ms in the echelon cut circuit pattern, because it slightly efficiencies the time and the resulting PPV does not exceed 2 mm/s.

Abstract

Reclamation is an activity carried out throughout the stages of the mining business to organize, restore, and improve the quality of the environment and ecosystem so that it can function again according to its designation (Law No. 3 of 2020). In PT Wijaya Mandiri Energi's mining activities that have been completed, the required activity is to carry out reclamation. In planning reclamation activities, technical reclamation tools are needed. Therefore, in this study, calculations were carried out to determine the number of technical equipment requirements used in reclamation activities that will be carried out in pit 3 south. Based on observations of mining activities carried out in pit 3 south, data is obtained in the form of productivity values of digging-loading equipment, transport equipment and displacement equipment. In this research, the quantitative analysis method is used by calculating the value of the area, productivity and actual working hours so as to obtain the value of the need for digging tools, transport tools and displacement tools needed in reclamation activities to achieve optimal value. As for the research conducted with an area of 5.95Ha and a production target of 208,250 m3, with the productivity of Doosan 500LCV excavator equipment of 218.64 m3 / hour, dump truck of 58.84 m3 / hour and SEM 822D bulldozer of 351.64 m3 / hour, the number of excavator Doosan 500LCV digging and loading equipment is 2 units, Beiben 2642 dump truck of 8 units and SEM 822D bulldozer of 2 units.

Abstract

The uniaxial compressive strength value is one of the important parameters that is widely used in rock engineering projects in determining rock mass. The strength of rocks is greatly influenced by the water content and degree of saturation in the rock. Reduction of strength in rock is associated with an increase in water content, a slight increase in water content will cause a significant deviation in the compressive strength test value.This research is quantitative research, so to obtain accurate calculation data, testing methods are used in the form of compressive strength tests on rocks and physical properties tests in the treatment of samples of original rock, saturated rock and dry rock before testing. In this research, 2 types of rock were used, including limestone and sandstone in 2 rock formations, namely the Balikpapan formation and the Pulaubalang formation, so that the accuracy of the test result values ​​could be obtained well. Based on the results of observations and calculations that have been carried out, the water content values ​​of limestone in natural, saturated and dry conditions in the Balikpapan formation are obtained with average values ​​of 1.709%, 2.262% and 0.961% respectively. The water content of sandstone in natural, saturated and dry conditions is the Pulaubalang formation with average values ​​of 2.491%, 9.425% and 0.463% respectively. The UCS value of limestone in natural, saturated and dry conditions in the Balikpapan formation has an average value of 25.29 Mpa, 37.57 Mpa and 40.70 Mpa respectively. The UCS value of sandstone in natural, saturated and dry conditions in the Pulaubalang formation has an average value of 9,565 Mpa, 6,537 Mpa and 12,730 Mpa. It can be concluded that the correlation between uniaxial compressive strength values ​​and water content values ​​in limestone and sandstone shows a positive linear correlation, which means they have a strong relationship. The higher the compressive strength value of limestone and sandstone, the lower the water content value.

Abstract

In the process of designing mine slopes, drilling or tunneling, to determine the level of strength and brittleness factors of rock on a slope, it is necessary to carry out a uniaxial compressive strength test or indirect tensile strength test of the rock. Compressive strength testing is carried out to determine how long the rock maintains its strength or elastic properties when pressure is applied. This data can be used as information to understand the analysis of factors that influence the physical properties of rocks on the compressive strength of rocks from physical properties and compressive strength testing activities. and indirect tensile strength testing is carried out to determine the stress value contained in the rock. To determine the level of rock brittleness, it can be done by comparing the uniaxial compressive strength value and the indirect tensile strength value. This data can be used as information and reference for companies that will design a mine slope, drill and tunnel, how strong the strength and level of brittleness of rocks in areas dominated by sandstone. This research uses quantitative methods, so that to obtain accurate calculation data, testing methods are used in the form of uniaxial compressive strength tests and indirect tensile strength tests, in this case tested on sandstone samples obtained from 2 rock formations including the Pulaubalang formation and the Balikpapan formation, so that accuracy The test result values ​​can be obtained well. And after testing, a comparison is made between the uniaxial compressive strength test value and the indirect tensile strength test to obtain the Brittleness Index value.Based on the observation results, it can be concluded that when the brittleness of the rock becomes greater, the performance of the cutting digger increases several times.

Abstract

Coal handling facility (CHF) di PT. Anugerah Bara Kaltim sebuah pertambangan yang berwenang melakukan kegiatan peremukan batubara yang merupakan salah satu penentu dari kuantitas produk yang akan dihasilkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Namun sering terjadi masalah-masalah yang memenyabkan tidak tercapainya target produksi. Dilakukan kajian teknis unit crushing plant dan upaya memperkecil hambatan yang terjadi didalam kegiatan peremukan batubara. Target produksi unit peremuk batubara adalah sebesar 541.667 ton/bulan berdasarkan pengamatan dan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan produksi aktual yang didapat hanya 519.305,85 ton/bulan. Target produksi yang belum dapat tercapai terjadi dikarenakan produksi alat peremuk masih rendah dikarenakan hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi. Dari hasil penelitian dan perhitungan yang dilakukan untuk mencapai produksi yang mendekati target produksi unit peremuk batubara maka dilakukan upaya yang dapat meningkatakan produksi, salah satunya dengan perbaikan hambatan hambatan non teknis yang dapat diminimalisir waktu hambatannya. setelah dilakukan perbaikan waktu hambatan. Nilai ketersediaan unit peremuk batubara sebelum perbaikan waktu hambatan adalah sebagai berikut ketersediaan mekanik (MA) = 95,28 %, ketersediaan fisik (PA) = 88,79 %, ketersediaan penggunaan alat (UA) = 95,75 %, penggunaan efektif (EU) = 85,00 %. Penanganan yang dapat dilakukan penambahan umpan pada bulan Juni sebanyak 26.381,38 ton dengan penambahan ritase 35 kali pada bulan Juni, dan pada bulan Juli penambahan umpan untuk mencapai target produksi sebanyak 32,939,06 ton dengan penambahan ritase 44 kali pada bulan Juli dengan penaganan waktu hambatan dan penanganan umpan maka target produksi unit peremuk batubara di PT. ABK dapat terpenuhi.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam adalah salah satu perusahaan energi kelas dunia yang bergerak dibidang pertambangan batubara. PT Bukit Asam memiliki beberapa lokasi tambang yang salah satunya adalah Tambang Banko Barat Pit 2 yang menggunakan sistem penambangan truck dan shovel. Jalur pengangkutan untuk kegiatan produksi batubara merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam operasi penambangan batubara di tambang Banko Barat. Untuk menunjang agar jalur pengangkutan tersebut dapat berfungsi dengan baik, maka diperlukan Motor Grader yang memiliki kinerja yang andal. Penelitian ini membahas kinerja motor grader Caterpillar 14M3. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penggunaan waktu edar alat angkut, menentukan penjadwalan kerja motor grader dalam maintenance jalan angkut, mengetahui produktivitas alat angkut batubara sebelum dan sesudah perawatan jalan. Kondisi jalan aktual diketahui dengan mengukur nilai daya tahan menggunakan penilaian URCI. Cycle time alat angkut DT Kamaz 6520 berkurang setelah dilakukan maintenance dari 29,93 menit menjadi 26,88 menit. Penjadwalan motor grader di pit 2 dilakukan dengan prioritas maintenance sebagai berikut: segmen 1 setiap 150 menit, segmen 2 setiap120 menit, segmen 3 setiap 129 menit, segmen 4 setiap 205 menit, segmen 5 setiap 180 menit, segmen 6 setiap 560 menit, segmen 7 setiap 67,2 menit, segmen 8 setiap 71,3 menit, segmen 9 setiap 300 menit, segmen 10 setiap 92 menit, segmen 11 setiap 65, dan segmen 12 setiap 324 menit. Produktivitas dump truck Kamaz 6520 bertambah setelah dilakukan maintenance dari 42,30 ton/jam meningkat menjadi 47,10 ton/jam

Abstract

One of the negative impacts of the mining process is acid mine drainage which is formed from the oxidation of minerals containing iron sulfur, such as pyrite (FeS2) and pyrothite (FeS) by oxidizers such as water and oxygen. To handle or control acid mine drainage, one way is to use activated carbon or often referred to as activated charcoal, which is a type of carbon that has a very large surface area. Charcoal is a porous solid that contains 85% to 95% carbon, produced from materials containing carbon by heating at high temperatures without oxygen (pyrolysis). Activated carbon made from palm shells is an adsorbent that can be used to treat coal mine acid water, so that the water meets standards for flowing into the environment. This study used concentration variants of 4 grams, 6 grams, 8 grams and contact times of 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 150 minutes. The results of this study show that the concentration of palm oil shell activated carbon adsorbent influences the reduction of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) metal levels as well as the pH conditions in acid mine drainage water. The higher the concentration and the longer the contact time, the more heavy metals are adsorbed, the contact time is the highest. The optimal concentration in this study was 150 minutes and the optimal concentration was 8 grams with physical activation.

Abstract

Coal mining in indonesia mostlyuses open pit mining methods. Including coal mines owned by PT Bima Nusa Internasional. Administratively, the research area is located in the muara komam area, batu sopang sub-district, paser district, east kalimantan. Open pit mining is a direct method that is exposed to free air above the surface. This study aims to determine the effect of rainfall on the production of coal hauling equipment at PT Bima Nusa Internasional. High rainfall can affect the performance of coal hauling equipment, which in turn has the potential to disrupt operational smoothness and reduce productivity. This study uses a quantitativeapporach by analyzing daily rainfall data for two months and coal hauling equipmentproduction data for a two months period. The results of the study show that there is a significant negative relationship between rainfall and the amount of coal transport equipment production.
