Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Edpuzzle media in improving fantasy story listening skills in seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar. Using a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, the study involved 40 students divided into an experimental class (using Edpuzzle) and a control class (using YouTube). The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, proving a significant difference between the two groups. The posttest average for the experimental class (90.15) was higher than that of the control class (88.15). These findings confirm that Edpuzzle, with its interactive features such as integrated questions and anti-skip, effectively increases students' cognitive engagement and comprehension of oral literary texts. This research provides a practical contribution to the development of digital learning media in Indonesian language education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how audiovisual media is applied to improve news text writing. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. The problem of this research is how the results of writing news texts. Implementation, improvement, activity and student response in writing news text using audiovisual media. This type of research is quantitative. The form of pre-experimental design research with one group pre-test post-test design. The population of the study was all students of class XI. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique, so that class XI 7 with a total of 30 people was obtained as the experimental class. The results of the study showed that the learning outcomes of writing news texts were a post-test score of 12.63 and a pre-test score of 9.83. From the data, the N-Gain calculation was carried out at 0.54 with a moderate category, meaning that there was an increase in the ability to write news texts using audiovisual media. The implementation results reached a value of 94.45 with a very good category. The average data on student activities showed negative behavior of 6.13% and positive behavior of 93.84%. Student response data showed that the use of audiovisual media showed a positive response of 88.74% and a negative 11.25%.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia bertujuan untuk memastikan akses pendidikan yang setara bagi semua peserta didik, termasuk anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Artikel ini menganalisis kesenjangan antara kebijakan dan implementasinya melalui studi literatur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun regulasi mendukung, implementasi masih dibatasi oleh kompetensi guru yang terbatas, fasilitas yang tidak memadai, dan pemahaman masyarakat yang rendah. Disimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan inklusif sehingga dapat lebih adil dan optimal.

Abstract

The Tudang Sipulung tradition represents the crystallization of deliberative consensus values that persist within the agrarian communities of South Sulawesi. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation process of the Tudang Sipulung custom in Marannu Village, Maros Regency. Employing a qualitative research method with a distinct anthropological approach, data were gathered through participant observation and in-depth interviews with key informants. The findings reveal that the execution of Tudang Sipulung in Marannu Village is not merely a ceremonial ritual but a structured forum for collective decision-making. This procession involves a synergy between traditional leaders, village government officials, agricultural extension workers, and the farming community, particularly in preparation for the rice planting season. The primary agenda includes determining planting schedules, selecting seed varieties, and managing irrigation systems to minimize the risk of crop failure. Anthropologically, this tradition serves as a medium for social integration, bridging local wisdom with technical government policies. This study concludes that the sustainability of Tudang Sipulung is a crucial factor in maintaining food security and social harmony within the Marannu Village community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana siswa di SMAN 1 Barru berkomunikasi selama kegiatan belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan cara mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri atas enam pertanyaan dan diberikan kepada 20 siswa sebagai responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial mendapatkan skor rata-rata terbesar, yaitu 4,00, yang masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi, diikuti oleh penggunaan bahasa gaul dengan skor 3,90 yang juga berada dalam kategori tinggi. Sementara itu, penggunaan WhatsApp, tingkat kepercayaan diri, kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahpahaman dalam komunikasi, serta interaksi antara siswa dan guru berada dalam kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi para siswa lebih sering menggunakan media digital dan bahasa yang tidak resmi. Meski demikian, masih ada hambatan dalam komunikasi resmi, terutama saat berinteraksi dengan guru di lingkungan belajar.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of an accounting information system for purchasing and sales at Cambridge Makassar business. The research method is a qualitative descriptive. The focus of this study is how the accounting information system is implemented in the purchasing and sales processes at the Cambridge Store in Makassar. The data collection technique is obtained by conducting interviews, documentation, and observations related to the researched issues. The research results show that the implementation of a purchasing and sales accounting information system using Microsoft Excel 2019 software at Cambridge Store Makassar has helped improve the recording process of purchases and sales to be more organized, accurate, and efficient. The store's financial management can be more controlled and support better decision-making. This facilitates the recording process, increases data accuracy, and speeds up the preparation of purchase and sales reports.

Abstract

Markov chain is a method that studies the properties of a variable at the present time based on the nature of the properties in the past in an effort to estimate the properties of the same variable in the future. One of the methods commonly used in predicting the events that will be coming is the method of markov chain discrete. The purpose of this study is: (1) determine the order of the markov chain used in predicting the precipitation; (2) form the model of the markov chain each station in the predicted precipitation is in the City of Makassar; (3) know the results of the prediction of rainfall of each station using a markov chain. By using the method of markov chain discrete then it can be obtained the prediction results of the steady state Station Panaikang in the period of the 10th with a chance to 0.35 months experiencing dry conditions, of 0.11 months experience humid conditions and 0.55 months experience wet conditions. Station Biring Romang in the period of to-15 with a chance of 0.33 months experiencing dry conditions, of 0.08 months experience humid conditions and of 0.59 month is experiencing wet conditions. While on the station of Paotere in the period to 12 with opportunities to 0.39 months experiencing dry conditions, of 0.06 months experiencing the condition moist and 0.55 months experience wet conditions.
