Abstract

Budaya sekolah dapat membantu siswa meningkatkan karakter siswa di sekolah. Melalui budaya sekolah dengan pembiasaan di lingkungan sekolah berupa budaya jujur, saling percaya, kerja sama, membaca, disiplin, efisien, bersih, berprestasi, dan memberi penghargaan, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap nilai karakter siswa. Berbagai penelitian terdahulu telah banyak mengkonfirmasi bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Namun studi tunggal seperti penelitian regresi atau korelasi memiliki keterbatasan situasi tertentu seperti waktu, jumlah sampel dan konteks, sehingga hasil temuan menjadi kurang akurat. Berdasarkan Gap ini maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi meta-analisis terkait pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan meta-analisis. Desain meta-analisis yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis correlational dengan menganalisis 10 studi primer dengan jumlah sampel (N = 886) yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang ditentukan. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan fixed-effect diperoleh ukuran efek gabungan sebesar (g = 1.42; p < 0,01). Ukuran efek ini berada pada kategori "Efek Sangat Besar". Ini berarti bahwa secara keseluruhan, budaya sekolah berpengaruh sangat besar terhadap karakter siswa. Temuan meta-analisis ini dapat memberikan kesimpulan yang lebih akurat dan dapat dipercaya dibandingkan studi tunggal. Selain itu studi ini juga dapat dapat memberikan ringkasan dari semua bukti tentang topik tertentu dan membantu mengidentifikasi area penelitian yang memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut.

Abstract

So far there has been no study that has carried out mapping of study programs, facilities and infrastructure including laboratories and health services offered to the community. Judging from the literature review at all Sports Faculties in Indonesia, the aim of this research is to map the potential of sports faculties throughout Indonesia through study programs, laboratories and service facilities so that the potential of sports faculties is known. This research method involves collecting data from libraries and exploring research objects using various sources of library information, such as books, encyclopaedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and digital documents. The sample for this literature study consisted of 15 campuses that have sports faculties. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has the greatest number of sports study programmes among all campuses. UNM offers a sports faculty provided with appropriate and diverse related laboratories. There are five campuses, namely UPI, UNJA, UNIMA, UNDIKSHA, and UNCEN, which provide limited information about their laboratories. Currently, only UNESA, UM, and UNY have virtually identical quantitative measures. Surabaya and Yogyakarta State Universities own the majority of service facilities, while other sports campuses require new facilities to produce financial resources for universities and provide services to the public and academic community. Collaboration among sports institutions in Indonesia is necessary to cultivate proficient sports graduates across different locations. In addition to fostering healthy rivalry among sports faculties to promote their development, each campus should also seek suitable benchmarks based on their unique qualities, ensuring that each sports faculty have distinct advantages. There is a hope to establish sports universities in Indonesia as part of long-term planning.

Abstract

Abstract: Does Resilience Affect Students' Psychological Distress in Indonesia? A Meta-Analysis Study. Objectives: This research aims to assess the influence of resilience on the formation of psychological distress among students in Indonesia as a whole. Methods: The method used for the purposes of this research is correlational meta-analysis by analyzing 10 primary studies with a sample size (N = 3600), which meet the specified inclusion criteria. Findings: The results of the analysis using the random-effects approach obtained a combined effect size of (g = 0.614; p < 0.01). This effect size is in the “Medium Effect” category. Conclusion: Overall, resilience has a significant effect on the psychological distress of students in Indonesia. The findings of this meta-analysis can provide more accurate and reliable conclusions than single studies. Apart from that, this study can also be a consideration and solution in overcoming the problem of psychological distress in an academic context. Keywords: psychological distress, resilience, meta-analysis.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i1.202412
