Abstract

Bagi kebanyakan orang, guru merupakan jabatan mulia, karena tugas, fungsi dan perannyadalam mendidik anak bangsa. Tapi tingkat kesejahteraan guru masih pada kategori masyarakat prasejahtera. Tidak heran banyak oknum guru masih mencari-cari pekerjaan sampingan sebagai upayauntuk memenuhi kebutuhan harian keluarga. Jangankan untuk mencapai suatu pendapatan lebih,kategori cukuppun terasa jarang bahkan masih jauh dari kenyataan. Akibatnya profesi guru masihmenjadi profesi alternatif paling akhir, ketika tidak ada lagi pekerjaan lain yang diharapkan. Maknanyabahwa, banyak yang menjadi guru bukan karena betul-betul menjadi guru, tetapi menjadi guru karenakebetulan.Suatu langkah maju telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah bersama DPR, dengan disahkannya UUNo 14 tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Guru boleh berbangga karena UU tersebut memberiruang untuk menjadikan guru sebagai profesi yang harus diapresiasi lebih. Bentuk apresiasi tersebutberupa program sertifikasi profesi melalui penilaian portofolio. Walaupun program sertifikasi ini belumtentu berkorelasi signifikan dengan peningkatkan profesionalisme guru sebagai pendidik, tetapimenjadi angin penyejuk bagi guru, karena bagi guru ini berarti peningkatan kesejahteraan.Kenyatannya, pola sertifikasi guru melalui portofolio banyak memberikan peluang untuk melakukanhal-hal manipulatif bukti tertulis yang dapat membawa pada perilaku guru yang kurang terpuji.Ciri khas guru kejuruan atau guru sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) memiliki tingkatketrampilan kerja tertentu dengan tahapan dan unjuk kerja yang tertentu pula, jika dibandingkandengan guru non-kejuruan. Ketrampilan kerja guru kejuruan dikembangkan dari tingkat pengetahuansecara teoritis dan praktis. Artinya guru kejuruan dapat menerapkan profesi sebagai pendidik padatiga aspek yaitu, kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pola atau modelsertifikasi guru kejuruan harus berorientasi pada unjuk kerja, bukan semata-mata pada dokumenportofolio. Maksudnya bahwa pengembangan model sertifikasi guru kejuruan dapat dilakukan melaluipenilaian portofolio tetapi harus diikuti dengan penilaian unjuk kerja. Pengembangan model sertifikasiguru kejuruan ini dapat dimanifestasikan dalam bentuk : (a). Proses sertifikasi guru kejuruan perlumelibatkan dunia industri, dunia usaha, dan atau asosiasi profesi sebagai representatif berbagaikomponen masyarakat pelaku dan pemerhati pendidikan. (b). Keterlibatan dunia industri, dunia usaha,dan atau asosiasi profesi, dimaksudkan untuk menilai aspek unjuk kerja guru kejuruan. (c). LPTK-PTKperlu dilibatkan untuk menilai kompetensi guru kejuruan melalui dokumen portofolio (jika penilaianportofolio masih digunakan). (d). Perlu ada semacam penyegaran (recharging) dan atau peningkatanilmu dari para guru secara periodik, misalnya setiap 5 tahunan, agar dinamisasi perkembangan IlmuPengetahuan dan Teknologi dapat diikuti.Kata kunci: LPTK-PTK, Pengembangan model sertifikasi, guru SMK, pendidikan kejuruan

Abstract

Kemampuan kerja kayu yang dimiliki oleh kelompok pengrajin kayu di desa mitra masih kurang dan belum bisa menjamin mutu produksi rumah kayu. Permasalahan inti mitra adalah kurangnya informasi, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan wadah pelatihan tentang bagaimana teknik pengeringan kayu pada penyiapan bahan baku kayu pada industri rumah kayu. Target luaran yang dapat dicapai dalam kegiatan ini, adalah: (a) Terbentuknya masyarakat mitra yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang baik tentang teknologi pengeringan kayu pada industri rumah kayu, sehingga produktifitas dan pola kerja mitra menjadi meningkat; dan (b) Terciptanya profil manajemen usaha yang produktif dan informatif dalam usaha industri rumah kayu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini, berdasarkan kesepakatan dengan masyarakat mitra, adalah: (1) sosilaisasi, (2) pendidikan, dan (3) pendampingan. Hasil yang dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat mitra telah memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang teknologi pengeringan kayu dalam membangun rumah kayu.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a research with a correlational survey method which aims to determine the effect of parental motivation on student achievement in the construction department of SMK Negeri 3 Tondano which was carried out from August to November 2019. The data collection techniques and tools in this study used research instruments in the form of questionnaires and report cards. Based on these data, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 with a large correlation coefficient of 0.901 with a coefficient of determination of 81.18%, which means that any changes that occur in learning outcomes are influenced by the teacher's personality competence of 81.18% and the rest is influenced by other variables. And to determine the level of influence of parental motivation on student achievement, that is by comparing the values ​​of t count and t table. This correlation test shows the value of t count > t table (19,386 > 1,660). Thus the researcher concludes that the role of parents in improving student achievement in the Department of Building SMK Negeri 3 Tondano is quite large,

Abstract

Vocational high school graduates in Indonesia still show a low level of employment in the construction services industry sector. The aim of this research is to find a classification of vocational high school students' occupational knowledge attainment levels that construction services require in carrying out concrete construction work. This research uses descriptive research methods. This research data was obtained through surveys, observations and focus group discussions with construction service actors. The research data collected was then categorized based on work indicators, and analyzed for conformity with Indonesian national work competency standards in the concrete structure work category. The results of the study found that the minimum work knowledge standards of vocational high school students who must meet the needs of construction services in carrying out concrete construction work are understanding about the installation of scaffolding, the making of formwork, the assembling of reinforcement, the installation of reinforcement, and the casting of concrete.

Abstract

In classroom learning, students frequently face challenges to understand the material since the learning media deviates from the subject content. The media usage as an intermediary for delivering information makes it more varied, easy to understand, and interactive. Utilizing web-based learning media promises the independence of time and place and helps the learning process. This study aims to develop a web-based digital system learning media that is feasible and useful. The study uses the waterfall model software development method, namely the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The findings indicate that the web-based digital system learning media is feasible and useful in the learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the relationship between learning independence and the intensity of 3D drawing practice using the ArchiCAD application with the learning achievement of DPIB students at SMK Negeri 1 Mopuya. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation while the data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 24. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between student learning independence and the learning achievement of students majoring in DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Mopuya, Bolaang Mangondow Regency, with a t value of learning independence variable (X1) 2.279 ≥ 1 .67943 t table so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the higher the learning independence, the higher the student achievement, there is a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of 3-dimensional drawing practice using the ArchiCAD application and the learning achievement of students majoring in DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Mopuya Bolaang Mangondown Regency with the t value of the practice intensity variable (X2) 6.381 ≥ 1 .67943 t table, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the higher the practice intensity, the higher the student achievement. There is a positive and significant relationship between independent learning and the intensity of 3D drawing practice using the ArchiCAD application with the learning achievement of students majoring in DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Mopuya, Bolaang Mangondow Regency and the contribution of independent learning variables and intensity of practice to the learning achievement of DPIB students majoring in DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Mopuya, Bolaang Mangondow Regency is 89.7%, while the rest is influenced by other variables that were not studied in this research.

Abstract

Is there any influence of the modular building model learning media and student skills on student learning outcomes at Siwa Lima St Yosep Langgur High School is a question that is the aim of this research. This study used quantitative methods by collecting data using questionnaires, documentation and tests while analyzing data using multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 24 program. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the Modular Building Model Learning Media and Student Skills on the Learning Outcomes of the Construction and Property Business Skills Program at Siwa Lima St. 1 .67943 t table so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the more creative the learning media used, the higher the student learning outcomes, there is a positive and significant relationship between student practice and Learning Outcomes of the Construction and Property Business Skills Program at Siwa Lima High School St Yosep Langgur with a t value of the practice intensity variable ( X 2 ) 6.381 ≥ 1 .67943 t table so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted meaning that the higher the student's practice, the higher the student learning outcomes, there is a positive and significant relationship between Learning Media Modular Building Models and Student Skills Against Learning Outcomes in the Construction and Property Business Skills Program in SMA Siwa Lima St Yosep Langgur and the contribution of the variable Learning Media Modular Building Models and Student Skills to Learning Outcomes of the Construction and Property Business Expertise Program at SMA Siwa Lima St Yosep Langgur is 89.7%, while the rest is influenced by other variables that do not become study in research.

Abstract

Cokroaminoto Kotamobagu Vocational School is an educational institution that aims to develop the potential of the nation's children so they can compete at the world level. To fulfill these objectives, educational institutions need to be equipped with adequate computer networks. This study aims to develop learning media based on Android (m-learning) on the subject of Applying IP Addressing to Computer Networks for class X SMK Cokroaminoto Kotamobagu. The research method used in this research is research and development (R&D). The steps taken are Potential and Problems, Gathering Information, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Improvement, Product Trials, Revision of potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, and product revisions. After the product trials were carried out with two stages, namely small group trials carried out by twelve students, and wide trials carried out twice, the first stage was carried out by one teacher, and the second stage by thirty-four participants educated. From the product trials, the results regarding the android-based m-learning application in the material Applying IP Addressing on Computer Networks obtained an assessment with very feasible criteria based on the teacher's assessment and very interesting based on the student's assessment.

Abstract

The development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought changes, where students can take advantage of technological advances in this revolution by accessing the internet to look for learning resources either through websites or YouTube. This research aims to (1) develop interactive multimedia learning in informatics learning for class VII students, (2) determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia for class VII informatics learning (3) find out students' responses regarding interactive multimedia in learning. This interactive multimedia development uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, and the APPED development model with steps (1) analysis and initial research, (2) design, (3) production, (4) evaluation, and (5) dissemination. Respondents to research on the development of interactive multimedia for informatics learning were class VII of SMP Negeri 6 Manado. The results of the research that has been carried out show that: (1) interactive multimedia on computational thinking material was created and developed using Google Sites. (2) The results of the assessment of the feasibility of learning multimedia obtained a percentage of feasibility in alpha testing, namely the assessment from material experts was 82.50% categorized as very feasible, the assessment from media experts was 91.25% categorized as very feasible, beta testing with assessments from average users feasibility, namely 85.77%, falls into the very feasible category. (3) Respondents' comments regarding this multimedia product were very diverse, namely suggestions for improving this interactive multimedia and responses that this interactive multimedia was needed for learning activities. Based on the respondents' responses and the assessment results from the questionnaire, interactive multimedia is used and needed by students in learning at SMP Negeri 6 Manado.

Abstract

The learning process obtained from universities to develop students' soft skills is also influenced by practical experience in the field. To develop soft skills in students, they have been given theories and practices that support the lessons in higher education, so that students have experience that can be used as a basis when entering the world of work. This research aims to develop a practical learning model in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education, Manado State University. This research is developing research to develop a practical learning model. The online practice development model uses six interactions, namely interactions between students and lecturers, students with material, lecturers with material, students with students, lecturers with other lecturers, and material with material, through synchronous/asynchronous media. The results of this research show that the product developed is very suitable to be implemented to support online practical learning for core courses in higher education. This research has produced an online learning model for core subject practice with a flexible blended learning strategy at a low cost for students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. The resulting conclusion is that this model has the advantage of being able to create an online collaborative work environment. Validation by experts is carried out qualitatively and quantitatively.
