Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Covid-19 pandemic can be used as a source of themes in the learning process in the Dance Composition course. The source of the theme is a part that must be known for students so that in the process of creating dance they can produce good and quality work, considering that the source of the theme is the basic foundation that leads to the formation of basic concepts in dance work. The method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, literature study and recording. The result of the research that has been done is that the source of the theme cannot be formed if the source of the work and the source of ideas is not determined in advance. After both are found, students can determine the source of the story theme, and the source of the motion theme. Determining the source of the work, the source of ideas, the source of the theme of the story and the source of the theme of motion are parts that must be surpassed by students who take the dance composition course in the Performing Arts Education Study Program. The findings that have been made by students turned out to present interesting new ideas and creativity, even though the findings of the motion were simple ones.

Abstract

Abstrak  Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat sebagai salah satu Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi di Universitas PGRI Palembang bertujuan untuk memberikan Pelatihan Dan Workshop Unsur-Unsur Pendukung Karya Seni Tari Tradisi Sumatera Selatan Pada Siswa-Siswi Se-Kota Palembang sebagai bentuk pembelajaran cabang seni produk kreatif yaitu menghasilkan satu buah gandik siap pakai sebagai perlengkapan kepala pada tari tradisional juga tari kreasi di Kota Palembang. Metode kegiatan tersebut merupakan metode praktik dan presentasi berbagai proses pembuatan dan fungsi setiap media dan alat yang dijadikan sebagai media belajar. Hasil dari pembuatan gandik sebagai accesoris tari meruapakan hasil kerajinan tangan siap pakai melalui beberapa proses dan cara pembuatan. Kata Kunci: Unsur Pendukung Karya Seni Tari, Proses Pembuatan. Abstract The Community Service activity as one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at the University of PGRI Palembang aims to provide Training and Workshop on Supporting Elements of South Sumatra Tradition Dance Artwork for Students of Palembang City as a form of learning creative arts branch products which is producing one fruit gandik is ready to use as a head piece in traditional dance and creative dance in the city of Palembang. The method of this activity is a practice method and presentation of various manufacturing processes and functions of each media and tool that is used as a learning medium. Abstract

Abstrak Kegitan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah salah satu tugas pokok di dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi Universitas PGRI Palembang. Capaian kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan adalah siswa mampu menguasai materi sesuai dengan capaian kegiatan. Kegiatn PKM merupakan kegiatan melatih siswa menari tari nusantara yaitu Lenggang Patah Sembilan yang terdapat dalam kompetensi Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya sebagai cara membentuk karakter siswa dalam menghargai dan mempertahankan nilai suatu karya seni. Salah satu cara mempertahankan keberadaan seni nusantara khususnya seni tari melalui pembelajaran tari penyambutan yaitu tari Lenggang Patah Sembilan melalui pelatihan menari berpasangan pada siswa SMP Negeri 30 Kota Palembang. Kurangnya kompetensi menari yang dimiliki oleh guru seni budaya di SMP Negeri 30 juga menjadi hal yang melatar belakangi kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan. Seiring dengan lestarinya tari nusantara maka perlu juga apreasiasi cara mementaskannya. Melalui pelatihan tari Lenggang Patah Sembilan  mampu menciptakan keterampilan siswa dalam mengenali tiga unsur utama tari yaitu wirasa, wirama, dan wiraga. Kata Kunci: Gerak Tari Lenggang Patah Sembilan, Konteks Pementasan Tari. Abstract The activity of Community Service is one of the main tasks in the Tri Dharma of the University of Palembang PGRI. The achievement of PKM activities is that students are able to master the material in accordance with the achievements of the activity. PKM activities are activities to train students to dance the archipelago dance, namely Lenggang Sembah Nine, which is contained in the competencies of Cultural Arts Subjects as a way to shape students' character in respecting and maintaining the value of a work of art. One way to maintain the existence of archipelago art, especially dance through learning dance reception, is the Lenggang Patah Sembilan dance through paired dancing training for students of Palembang State Middle School 30. The lack of dance competencies possessed by art and culture teachers at SMP Negeri 30 is also the background for this PKM activity. Along with the continuation of archipelago dance, it is also necessary to appreciate how to perform it. Through Lenggang Patah Sembilan dance training, students are able to create skills in recognizing three main elements of dance, namely wirasa, wirama, and wiraga. Keywords: Broken Nine Motion Dance, Context of Dance Performance.

Abstract

Tari Ambeg Kang Amburat merupakan sebuah karya tari yang dibentuk melalui berbagai pertimbangan dan tahapan yang terstruktur. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tari Ambeg Kang Amburat agar tari ini dapat dipahami secara utuh baik dari unsurgerak maupun maksud dari gerak dalam tarian itu sendiri.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu peneliti secara langsung mendapatkan informasi serta data yang kongkret dari narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tari Ambeg Kang Amburat memiliki 23ragam gerak, yang disusun secara lengkap dan matang dengan terpenuhinya tahapan pada metode konstruksi I yang terdiri dari: rangsang tari, tipe tari, mode penyajian, improvisasi dan seleksi. Adapun pada metode konstruksi II terdiri dari: motif (kepala, tangan, kaki dan badan), jenis motif, desain tari dari segi waktu, desain tari dari segi ruang dan motif menuju komposisi. Secara utuh karya tari Ambeg Kang Amburat mempunyai tahapan yang terstruktur dan lengkap sesuai dengan metode konstruksi sebuah tari.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTari Melaju Dengan Mutu merupakan tari kreasi baru yang diciptakan berlandaskan inovasi motto Universitas PGRI Palembang yaitu “Melaju Dengan Mutu” yang memiliki arti perkembangan Universitas dalam segala bidang akan selalu ditingkatkan dengan capaian waktu dan bermutu dalam bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Estetika tarinya yang dapat dilihat melalui bentuk tari dalam konteks penampilannya dari komponen non verbal. Hasil penelitian dengan metode peneitian deskripstif kualitati dengan cara pengumpulan data lewat observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi menunjukan nilai estetika tari Melaju Dengan Mutu dapat dilihat dari bentuk, isi, dan penampilan dari pertunjukan tari Melaju Dengan Mutu yang sementara waktu dikhususkan dipertunjukan untuk acara wisuda saja. Isi pertunjukan nampak pada gagasan, suasana, dan pesan yang ada dalam pertunjukan tari Melaju Dengan Mutu yang mengandung nilai-nilai Prinsip etika yang berlaku pada masyarakat dalam hal ini civitas akademik lingkup Universitas PGRI Palembang menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam pembuatan sebuah karya tari. Kata Kunci: Estetika Tari

Abstract

Problems that are often encountered by students Programs Study Dance and music drama education is difficulties the theme will be lifted into the form or dance. The prosess of determining the theme of dance is indeed not easy especialy when it relates to the basic motion that will be done. The importance of this writing so that students as beginner dance stylists can learn the basic stages of the work prosess. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting obsevations, interveiws, and documentation and literature studies to clarify the theoretical study used. The results of research from each student who has carried out stages in a structured manner then the result achieved is that every student is able to prosess well and maximally, students are able to write and explain all literal themes, literal motion, and detemine the initial idea well too. Besides that students can also do and explain to then interpret ideas and visualize in the form of dance works.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the arrangement of the Kipas Chandani dance worked.  The problem was focused on the arrangement of the dance through the construction method I and construction method II.  To approach this problem, the theoretical reference from Jacqueline Smith 1985 in Ben Suharto's translation book entitled Dance Composition: A Practical Guide for Teachers was used.  The data were collected through the creative process of practical dance arrangement and recording of dance scripts all through the process of construction methods I and II and qualitatively been analyzed.  This study concluded that the arrangement of the Chandani Fan dance worked as a new creation dance material at the University of PGRI Palembang through the construction method I and construction method II with the result that the concept contained in the Chandani Fan dance was A visualization of today’s woman figure with all their life activities.  The display was packaged in the form of masculine and feminine movements.  In certain parts the movement pattern was made wider in order to create a masculine impression, while for the feminine movement pattern is manifested in soft, light, continuous and regular movements.

Abstract

The Missionary is a dance work which is an interpretation of the work of Paulus Tjen On Ngie’s mission in the Pangkalpinang diocese area. The purpose of realizing this dance work is as an expression of his journey in proclaiming the gospel. The purpose of writing is as a from af accountability for the work. In addition, it is necessary to provide knowledge about the background of the work. The process of creating this dance creation methods, namely exploration, improvisasion, giving shape, and evaluation. These stages are combined with observations, interviewer, and documentation to strengthen the process of creating dance work. Related to this method, literature studies and recording in the from of videos or pictures are also carried out during the process is a dance work with a duration of 08.40 minutes. The from of dance work is very completeconsistingof title, dance moves, number of dancer, floor patterns, dance accompaniment mucis, dance properties, make-up, fashion, stage area, lighting.Overall this dance work is formed with a mature and planned concept and is complete according to the needs of the dance itself.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out how the aesthetic elements contained in the Manarajang Lawok ballet. The problem is focused on the aesthetic elements of choreography. In order to approach this problem, a theoretical, a theoretical reference from Y. Sumandiyo Hadi was used in 2012 with the title choreography (From-Engineering-Content). The data were collected throuhg data triangulation and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that the manarajang lawok ballet is a new creation, dance by 10 dancers. The Manarajang Lawok ballet is discussed in 3 aesthetic elements of choreography, namely the concept of motion as an aesthetic element of choreography, namely the movements performed by dancers are focussed in such away as to make it look epic when performed. The conceptof space as an aesthetic choreography element which is further divided into positive-negative space discussions, levels using low, medium and high levels, floor patterns using locomotor movement, stasionary and pause, directions using the eight cardinal directions, dimensions which includes height, width and depth. It is also discussed in the concept of time as an aesthetic element of choreography, which is divided into three parts, aspects of the tempo of the fast and slow movements performed by the dancers, the aspect of rhythm, namely the strenght and softness of the movements performed, and the duration, which is 11 minutes 40 seconds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Adakah Efektivitas Penerapan Metode Out Door Terhadap Pembelajaran Tari Pada Kelas X di SMA PGRI Gelumbang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kategoripre-test and post-test one group yaitu sebuah eksperimen yang dilakukan sebelum eksperimen (pre-test) dan sesudah eksperimen (post-test) (Arikunto, 2013: 124). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teknik Tes. Teknik Analisis Data dalam peneltian ini menggunakan a) Analisis Data Tes, b) Uji Normalitas Data, c) Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengujian normalitas didapatkan data terdistribusi normal, maka analisis data tes akhir yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya. Diketahui uji t hipotesis dengan    dengan  = 9,44 dan  dan dk = diperoleh  2,04. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima atau   atau 9,44  2,04. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan metode out door dalam hasil pembelajaran Tari tanggai pada siswa kelas X.2.D SMA PGRI Gelumbang.
