Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kursus Bahasa Inggris Mahadikarya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis dan fungsi tindak ilokusi yang digunakan guru bahasa Inggris dalam proses pengajaran bahasa di kursus Bahasa Inggris Mahadikarya. Jenis tindak ilokusi dalam penelitian ini adalah, representatif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif dan deklaratif. Fungsi tindak ilokusi adalah menyatakan fakta, pernyataan, kesimpulan, uraian, permintaan, perintah, saran, janji, penolakan, terima kasih, penyesalan dan mengumumkan. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Subjeknya adalah salah satu guru bahasa Inggris di Mahadikarya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan perekaman video. Hasil penelitian ini cenderung lebih menitikberatkan pada pendalaman kualitas makna dialog. Data penelitian ini diambil dari ucapan guru bahasa Inggris selama proses pengajaran bahasa. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, rekaman video, dan dokumen. Analisis data tindak ilokusi dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, menganalisis data serta mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data triangulasi untuk mendapatkan data yang sesuai dan menggunakan data validator untuk mengecek keakuratan penelitian.

Abstract

This research presented The Effect of Personal Vocabulary Notes Technique toward Students’ Vocabulary Achievement at the Second Grade of Pesantren Darul Istiqamah Amomotu. This research used quasi experimental design, divide into two groups: Experimental Class and Control Class. The researcher collected the data by giving pre-test in class to know students’ prior knowledge then giving treatment and post-test in which the researcher conducted teaching and learning process by Personal Vocabulary Notes Technique. The researcher use formula two-tailed test to analyze the result of the research whether there was an effect between students’ vocabulary after analyzing the data. The result of this research was an effect of PVN (Personal Vocabulary Notes) Technique toward Students’ Vocabulary Achievement at the Second Grade of Pesantren Darul Istiqamah Amomotu. It could be seen of the mean score post-test of the control class 66.07 was higher than the mean score post-test of the experimental class 77.86. The result showed that T-test > T-table 26.80 > 2.16. The alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. This study contributes to educational practices by examining a specific method (Personal Vocabulary Notes) that can enhance vocabulary learning. As it proven effective, this technique could be implemented more widely in classrooms to improve language acquisition.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-learning system integrated with ChatGPT in enhancing students' learning outcomes within the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). By adopting the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) approach, this study indicates a remarkable 80% satisfaction rate among users of the e-learning platform. Despite focusing on the e-learning development stage and content preparation, there remains an avenue for further investigation, specifically in the realm of classroom action research. The implementation of this e-learning portal stands as a significant milestone in educational technology, emphasizing accessibility, adaptability, and cost-efficiency, offering a durable platform for educational content. User feedback underlines the success of this development, endorsing its continued usage and potential for further advancements. This research not only addresses the immediate effectiveness of integrating ChatGPT into e-learning but also showcases the potential for continual enhancement and the ongoing evolution of educational technologies within the MBKM initiative at Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze students' perceptions of the use of interactive media Wordwall as an assessment tool at SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka. The design of this study used a study case design. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka, totaling 26 students in 2022. The collection technique used questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires were given to determine students' perceptions and interviews were conducted to find out more in-depth answers so that researchers could describe and study optimally students' perceptions of the Wordwall application as an assessment tool. The results of this research indicate that 87,5% of students are interested in using the Wordwall application as an assessment tool. Easy use, attractive appearance, and varied questions make students want to use the Wordwall application as an assessment tool in the future.
