Abstract

This journal explores the relationship between literature and psychology, focusing on Jon Ronson's "The Psychopath Test." It examines the novel's structure, psychological insights, and its relevance as educational material in intensive reading classes. The text highlights the intertwining of psychology and literature, highlighting how psychological concepts are used to explore themes like identity, trauma, and personal growth. The passage also discusses the educational values of literature, including critical thinking, ethical awareness, understanding mental health, empathy, scepticism, interdisciplinary learning, and media literacy. The moral values learned from "The Psychopath Test" include empathy, ethical responsibility, compassion, justice, self-reflection, and the critical examination of power dynamics. The research methodology is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing a literary psychology approach.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the to find out  the response of using Millealab on the material comprehension of slow learners. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The  subjects in this study were slow learners grade 8 students at SMP Plus Rahmat Kediri, East Java. The instruments used in this research are observation, interview, and observation which were then analyzed inductively. The result show that virtual reality (VR) helps slow learners connect abstract concepts with real experieces, which supports their understanding. The findings have immportant implications in inclusive education, where VR  can improve the cognitive growth and academic understanding of slow learners students.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Islam Kunjang Kediri dalam penerapan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan komprehensif berbasis workshop dan pendampingan diberikan kepada guru untuk memperkenalkan Google Workspace for Education (GWE) dan Canva. Google Workspace for Education (GWE) smemiliki berbagai alat produktivitas dan kolaborasi, seperti Google Classroom, Google Docs, dan Google Sheets, yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas, mengelola kelas, dan berbagi materi secara online. Sementara itu, Canva memungkinkan guru membuat tugas dan mengelola kelas secara online. Hasil pelatihan digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif program. Ini dilakukan untuk menentukan seberapa baik pendidik dapat menggunakan teknologi digital di ruang kelas. Observasi kelas dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan peserta pelatihan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif tentang pengalaman dan tantangan guru. Hasil analisis dari pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa, 85% peserta menyatakan bahwa pelatihan ini sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka, dan 78% menyatakan bahwa mereka lebih percaya diri untuk memasukkan teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran mereka. Diharapkan peningkatan kemampuan guru ini akan meningkatkan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis teknologi, meningkatkan keinginan siswa, dan membuat lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) lebih relevan dengan tuntutan dunia kerja yang semakin digital.   The community service project aims to help teachers at Kunjang Kediri Islamic Vocational High School (SMK) get better at using technology to help students learn. To implement Google Workspace for Education (GWE) and Canva, teachers get full training and support in the form of workshops. Some of the efficiency and teamwork tools in Google Workspace for Education (GWE) are Google Classroom, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. These can be used to finish tasks, run lessons, and share online materials. At the same time, Canva lets teachers make tasks and run their lessons online. How useful the program is is judged by how well the training works. This is done to see how well teachers can use computers in the classroom. To get qualitative information about teachers' experiences and problems, classroom observations and semi-structured talks with trainees were used. An study of the training showed that 85% of those who took part said it was perfect for their needs and 78% said they felt more comfortable using digital technology to help them learn. It is hoped that this improvement in teachers' skills will lead to more engaging and tech-based learning, more student interest, and more job opportunities for Vocational High School (SMK) grads in a world that is becoming more digital.
