Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of financial literacy on household financial management and to examine differences in financial management based on literacy levels among beneficiaries of the Family Hope Programme (PKH) in Botubarani Village. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design and involves 60 respondents from a total population of 242 PKH beneficiaries. Data analysis was conducted using ANOVA, post hoc Games-Howell tests, and simple linear regression. The results indicate a significant difference in financial management based on financial literacy levels (F = 11.419; p < 0.001). The ‘well-literate’ group demonstrated better financial management skills compared to the ‘sufficiently literate’ and ‘less literate’ groups. Furthermore, financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on financial management (t = 4.816; p < 0.001), accounting for 28.6% of the variance. This study contributes by demonstrating that financial literacy not only has a general influence but also serves as a distinguishing factor among groups of social assistance recipients in rural areas. The implications of this study emphasise the importance of mentoring-based financial literacy education to enhance the effectiveness of the PKH programme and the financial independence of the community.

Abstract

Imbalance in compensation systems and high employee turnover in the distribution sector represent critical issues that directly affect company operational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the effect of incentive provision on employee work morale at PT Tirta Kencana Tatawarna Gorontalo. A quantitative survey method was applied to a saturated sample of 50 employees, divided into 15 respondents for instrument testing and 35 respondents for simple linear regression hypothesis testing. The results prove that incentive provision has a positive and significant effect on employee work morale (t_"value" =3.281>t_"table" =1.692; p=0.002). The contribution of incentive provision to work morale reached 24.6%, while the remaining 75.4% was influenced by other external factors. Fair and transparent optimization of material and non-material incentives is proven to be a strategic instrument in boosting work motivation. The implications of this study require company management to reformulate performance-based incentive schemes to maintain long-term employee productivity.

Abstract

This community service activity sought to strengthen the creative-economy capacity of housewives in Bolihuangga Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency, by processing locally abundant water hyacinth. The program combined an introductory session with hands-on training in material preparation, drying, weaving, and product finishing. Participants made placemats, coasters, and fruit baskets as sample products for further development in the handicraft market. Observations during the activity indicated that participants could follow the processing sequence and apply basic weaving techniques; they also engaged in discussions on production and marketing. These findings suggest that water hyacinth can serve as a locally sourced raw material for household creative enterprises. Sustained economic benefits, however, require follow-up mentoring, product-quality improvement, and stronger market access. Through this initiative, water hyacinth is no longer viewed merely as an environmental nuisance but can be developed into a creative commodity that supports community empowerment and the sustainable strengthening of the local economy.
