Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of dividend policy as a mediator in the relationship between profitability, liquidity and the assessment of the impact of firm growth on firm value in the real estate and property industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. The results of the quantitative method using WarpPLS 8.0 analysis show that firm value is strongly influenced by profitability and firm growth, both directly and indirectly through dividend policy, which acts as a partial mediator. In contrast, liquidity has no significant impact on dividend policy or firm value. These findings confirm the importance of dividend policy as a strategic tool to improve market perception and firm value, while providing insights for more effective financial management in the real estate sector.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of the interaction between exports, imports and inflation on the dollar exchange rate against the rupiah. Using a quantitative approach, secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and Bank Indonesia during the period 2013 to 2023 were analyzed using census sampling techniques, producing 132 monthly data. The analysis was carried out with Eviews 13 through various statistical tests, including heteroscedasticity tests, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, multiple linear regression, as well as the F test and T test. The research results show that exports have a positive effect on the exchange rate in the long term, although in the short term they can have a negative impact. Imports have a negative influence on the rupiah exchange rate, where an increase in imports has the potential to cause a trade balance deficit and weaken the exchange rate. Inflation shows a negative influence on the exchange rate in the short term, but can contribute positively to strengthening the exchange rate in the long term if balanced with appropriate monetary policy. This research recommends that the government strengthen export policies, manage imports selectively, and maintain stable inflation to support exchange rate stability

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), perceived ease of use, and security risk on food purchasing decisions at Resto Tom Sushi, with user experience as a mediating variable. The increasing adoption of digital payments through QRIS and mobile banking (m-banking) has changed consumer transaction patterns, especially in the restaurant industry. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving QRIS and m-banking users at Resto Tom Sushi. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the use of QRIS, perceived ease of use, and security risk had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, user experience plays a mediating role that strengthens the relationship between independent variables and purchasing decisions. These findings emphasize the importance of good user experience and digital literacy in increasing the effectiveness of digital payments and encouraging the adoption of non-cash payments in the culinary sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease, trust, and benefits on the interest in using digital payments and their impact on customer satisfaction among Generation Z students. The focus of this study is to explore the relationship between these factors and how they affect digital transaction behavior and user satisfaction levels. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 185 Generation Z student respondents through purposive sampling techniques and distributed using questionnaires. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach using Smart PLS4 software. The results showed that perceived ease, trust, and benefits had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, the use of digital payments also had a direct positive effect on satisfaction, but did not act as a mediating variable in the relationship between user perceptions and satisfaction. These findings indicate that perceptions of service quality have a greater influence on satisfaction than frequency of use. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions in understanding the behavior of digital payment users among Gen Z students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several cases resulting from the actions of naughty debtors which caused significant losses for Indonesia. There is a legal vacuum in Law Number 10 of 1998 concerning Banking, making it difficult for law enforcers to determine criminal acts committed by naughty debtors. The problem formulation taken is how banking law in Indonesia is in the perspective of legal objective theory, and what is the juridical review of bad debtors in the banking law. This research uses a normative legal research approach with a theory and legal principles approach. Several things need to be reviewed due to the impact caused by Law Number 10 of 1998 concerning Banking, namely that there is an article that can only ensnare bank employees if there is some form of criminal liability. Apart from that, there is no clause that regulates criminal sanctions for bank employees who collude with debtors. Bank Indonesia can impose administrative sanctions, but this authority is not regulated expressly and unequivocally in the Banking Law. So that Bank Indonesia has the potential to abuse its authority in determining actions.

Abstract

This study analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationships between work-life balance (WLB), work stress, and employee performance among Generation Z employees in Semarang coffee shops. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 151 full-time employees aged 17-27 years across 20 coffee shops. The findings indicate that WLB positively and significantly influences both employee performance and job satisfaction. Additionally, job satisfaction has a direct positive impact on employee performance and mediates the relationship between WLB and performance. Conversely, work stress was found to have no significant direct or indirect effect on performance or satisfaction. These results highlight the critical role of WLB and job satisfaction in enhancing employee productivity, while the impact of work stress appears minimal in this context. Coffee shop management is encouraged to implement flexible policies supporting WLB and to foster job satisfaction.
