Abstract

Education is one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of human resources, particularly through the equitable distribution of access to educational scholarships. However, in practice, many young people still lack adequate information regarding overseas educational scholarships. Therefore, efforts are needed to disseminate information about international scholarships through socialization activities. This community service program aims to enhance youths’ understanding of various overseas scholarship opportunities and the requirements that need to be prepared from an early stage. This activity employed a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on youths’ perceptions of the implementation of an overseas scholarship socialization program. The activity was conducted at the Community Hall of Gunung Terang Sub-district, Bandar Lampung, involving 13 youth members of Karang Taruna Youngunter. Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires and post-activity interviews with the participants. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify changes in perceptions, levels of understanding, and participants’ motivation. The outcomes of the program were assessed based on indicators including increased knowledge of scholarship types and requirements, enhanced motivation to prepare for scholarship applications, and heightened awareness of the importance of early preparation. The findings indicate improvements in participants’ understanding and motivation, as well as the emergence of an action-oriented mindset in planning initial steps for overseas educational scholarship preparation, suggesting that this activity has the potential to serve as an initial model of youth empowerment at the community level.

Abstract

Permasalahan sosial-emosional anak usia sekolah dasar semakin menuntut perhatian, terutama pasca pandemi COVID-19 yang memunculkan gejala kecemasan, perilaku menarik diri, hingga agresivitas. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam mendampingi perkembangan sosial-emosional siswa, namun masih banyak yang belum memiliki keterampilan komunikasi empatik dan strategi pembelajaran bermakna. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru TK dan SD di Sekolah Tunas Mekar Indonesia (TMI) Bandar Lampung melalui pelatihan komunikasi empatik dan pembelajaran bermakna. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pelatihan dan pendampingan, meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan workshop, simulasi, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang komunikasi empatik, perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran menjadi lebih kontekstual dan bermakna, serta terbentuknya iklim kelas yang lebih positif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul pelatihan, instrumen observasi, laporan praktik baik, dan artikel ilmiah sebagai luaran. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan komunikasi empatik dan pembelajaran bermakna efektif memperkuat peran guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang humanis, inklusif, dan mendukung kesejahteraan sosial-emosional siswa.

Abstract

This conceptual paper investigates how the deep learning approach articulated in the New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL) framework can be theoretically and culturally aligned with Indonesian national graduate profiles, recent Indonesian government formulations of Pembelajaran Mendalam (PM), and the Lampung cultural philosophy of Piil Pesenggiri in the context of English language teaching (ELT). Drawing on document analysis of NPDL texts, Indonesian curriculum and policy documents, the Academic Paper on Deep Learning, scholarly discussions of graduate profiles, and regional literature on Piil Pesenggiri, the study develops a tri-level comparison between global, national, and local frameworks. The analysis shows that NPDL’s six global competencies-character, citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking-broadly converge with Kemendikdasmen’s holistic, competency-based vision of graduates and with national deep learning discourse, which combines knowledge, skills, character, and citizenship in integrated graduate profiles. At the local level, core elements of Piil Pesenggiri such as juluk adok, nemui nyimah, nengah nyappur, and sakai sambayan provide cultural resources that can support the social, ethical, and collaborative dimensions of deep learning, while also generating tensions around honour, face, hierarchy, and group harmony. The paper argues that, when these convergences and tensions are explicitly recognised, ELT classrooms in Lampung can be designed as spaces for deep learning projects that develop the 6Cs through locally meaningful themes, tasks, and interaction norms. The study concludes by outlining principles for culturally responsive, deep learning-oriented ELT and by suggesting directions for future empirical research on the localisation of global pedagogies and national deep learning reforms in Indonesian schools.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital games has increased the need for a strong psychological foundation in the game development process. Psychology plays a crucial role in understanding how players think, feel, stay motivated, and behave, all of which directly influence player engagement and overall gaming experience. This study aims to systematically examine the role of psychology in digital game development through a literature-based approach. A systematic literature review method was employed by selecting reputable scholarly journal articles published within a specific time frame from major academic databases. The selected articles were then analyzed and categorized based on branches of psychology and their applications in game development. The findings indicate that cognitive psychology, motivational psychology, emotional psychology, and social psychology are the most frequently applied fields, particularly in gameplay design, user experience, and player engagement. However, research gaps remain, especially regarding the integration of psychological theories during the early stages of game design. This study highlights the importance of psychology as both a theoretical and practical foundation in digital game development.

Abstract

Impostor syndrome merupakan hambatan psikologis non-disabilitas yang banyak dialami mahasiswa dan berdampak pada kecemasan akademik, rendahnya efikasi diri, serta kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan membandingkan pendekatan Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) dan Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) dalam penanganan impostor syndrome pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap artikel terbitan tahun 2015–2025 yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar. Dari 120 artikel awal, terseleksi 5 artikel yang dianalisis secara tematik dan diperkuat dengan analisis bibliometrik menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT dominan sebagai pendekatan kuratif melalui restrukturisasi kognitif dan pengelolaan pikiran maladaptif, sedangkan ACT berkembang sebagai pendekatan inovatif yang menekankan fleksibilitas psikologis, penerimaan diri, dan tindakan berbasis nilai. Disimpulkan bahwa CBT dan ACT bersifat saling melengkapi dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling perguruan tinggi. Integrasi kedua pendekatan direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan kesehatan mental dan keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research addresses the growing concern of aggressive behavior in children, recognizing it as a pressing issue that needs attention. Our focus is on exploring effective methods to mitigate this behavior through group guidance services that incorporate imitation learning techniques. This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the effectiveness of these techniques in reducing aggression within a group context. Following the implementation of our services for the experimental group, we conducted thorough statistical analyses using the Mann-Whitney test. The outcome presented an Asymptotic Significance value (2-tailed) of 0.501, indicating that there was no statistically significant change in behavior following the intervention. Nevertheless, when we analyze the observations and the individual post-test scores of each participant in the experimental group, it becomes evident that imitation learning techniques hold promise in decreasing aggressive behavior among children. With further refinement and application, this approach could serve as a valuable tool in fostering a more positive behavioral trajectory for children facing these challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi implementasi bimbingan dan konseling bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inklusif melalui kajian sistematis terhadap penelitian terdahulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic Literature Review dengan 31 artikel ilmiah dari Google Scholar, dianalisis menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa literature review menjadi pusat kajian, sementara beberapa topik seperti peran guru bimbingan dan konseling, pembelajaran anak disleksia, dan membangun kapasitas dalam layanan masih perlu dieksplorasi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan roadmap layanan konseling bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Keterbatasannya adalah sumber artikel hanya dari Google Scholar, sehingga kurang mewakili isu secara global. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan database internasional seperti Scopus, Web of Science, dan Dimensions Scholars untuk cakupan lebih luas. Kata kunci Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, Konseling.
