Abstract

Latar Belakang: Permasalahan yang ditemui bahwa siswa yang langsung menyelesaikan soal matematika tanpa menyertakan argumen, padahal argumen memiliki peran penting. PkM ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpendapat siswa melalui penerapan Perangkat Teknologi Argumen Matematis dengan model infusion learning. Dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika, kemampuan berargumen sangat penting untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan logika yang kuat, pandangan yang jelas, dan penjelasan yang rasional. Faktanya kemampuan argumentasi siswa masih rendah dan belum ada perangkat teknologi khusus yang digunakan untuk menyusun, menyajikan, atau mengevaluasi argumen berdasarkan komponen argumentasi Toulmin. Tujuan: Oleh karena itu, PkM ini bertujuan mengaplikasikan model infusion learning dan perangkat digital argumen untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa kelas IX di SMPN 2 Jombang. Metode: pelaksanaan melibatkan ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, latihan, dan pendampingan. Evaluasi keberhasilan program dilakukan melalui pengukuran pemahaman peserta terhadap materi dan peningkatan kemampuan berpendapat secara matematis menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil: PkM menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi argumen matematis dengan model infusion learning berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpendapat sebagian besar siswa. Sebanyak 36,4% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pada kategori tinggi, sementara 63,6% lainnya berada pada kategori sedang. Kesimpulan: Ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode yang digunakan cukup efektif, meskipun perlu ada penyesuaian lebih lanjut untuk peningkatan yang lebih signifikan

Abstract

This study explores the use of Blended Project-Based Learning (Blended PBL) in higher education to enhance students' soft skills and fulfil higher education curriculum requirements involves integrating technology with traditional project-based learning method. This qualitative research involves students from the Fifth semester Study Programs at the Faculty of Teacher Training. Education, Private University in Jombang. The object of research is to portray the improvement of students' soft skills through blended PBL in order to prepare future professional and personal success. The data collection used open-ended questionnaire and observation. The validity of the data uses method triangulation, source triangulation, and perseverance of observation. The data was analyzed by thematic analysis. The findings showed that blended PBL Model in education can enhance students' soft skills which include aspects of self-awareness, trust, adaptability, critical thinking, organizational awareness, attitude, initiative, empathy, integrity, self-control, leadership, problem-solving, risk-taking, and Time management. The Blended Project-Based Learning (Blended PBL) model in higher education combines technology and traditional methods, involving real-world projects, critical thinking, and collaboration. Based on these findings, it is suggested for the educators in higher education institutions can effectively implement a Blended PBL model that not only enhances academic learning but also develops essential soft skills, preparing students for future professional and personal success.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa melalui implementasi asesmen komunikasi matematika pada pembelajaran Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) di SMAS Unggulan Harapan Ummat. Program dilaksanakan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan instrumen asesmen, pelatihan guru, implementasi asesmen dalam pembelajaran, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest. Instrumen yang dikembangkan meliputi rubrik penilaian komunikasi matematika, lembar tes, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu menerapkan asesmen komunikasi matematika secara lebih terstruktur dalam proses pembelajaran. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa meningkat dari 79,10 pada pretest menjadi 86,04 pada posttest. Hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan setelah implementasi program. Meskipun nilai N-Gain berada pada kategori rendah, respons siswa terhadap pelaksanaan asesmen menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, implementasi asesmen komunikasi matematika memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa pada materi SPLDV.

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital mathematics teaching materials to measure teacher creativity. The study used the ADDIE development model. Respondents were teachers and students of grade XII of SMA Diponegoro and SMA Rijan Mojokerto. The research instruments included teaching material validation sheets, creativity observation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, interview guidelines, pre-tests, and post-tests. The results showed that the digital mathematics teaching materials met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. Validity was established by two validators, who scored 74 and 78, respectively. Practicality was demonstrated by the results of the analysis of teacher response questionnaires from the two schools, with percentages of 97% and 100%, and student response questionnaires, which yielded percentages of 85% and 87%, both falling within the very practical category. Effectiveness results were obtained by comparing the differences and increases in post-test scores with those from pre-tests. The test results at SMA Rijan showed an average increase of 19.28, and at SMA Diponegoro, 19.57. Meanwhile, the results of measuring teacher creativity, based on the analysis of teacher creativity observation sheets, yielded a score of 4, indicating a very good category. The results of this study show that the teaching materials developed can be used to measure teacher creativity.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of mathematics learning at MI Bustanul Ulum Sebani through the implementation of the SIKEFA (Sistem Kelipatan dan Faktor) learning media. Based on observations, it was found that fifth-grade students had difficulty understanding the concepts of LCM (Least Common Multiple) and GCF (Greatest Common Factor) because learning was still dominated by lecture methods that were abstract and less interactive. SIKEFA media was developed as a modification of the traditional mancala game adapted into the context of mathematics learning. The implementation method consisted of three stages: preparation (coordination, needs analysis, learning tool preparation), implementation (media introduction, collaborative learning, observation), and evaluation (pre-test, post-test, satisfaction questionnaire, reflection with the teacher). The results showed an increase in the average student score from 35.23 (pre-test) to 54.38 (post-test), with an average student satisfaction score of 81.54. In addition to improved conceptual understanding, students also showed increased activeness, confidence, and learning motivation. SIKEFA media proved effective as a concrete, enjoyable, and meaningful learning alternative, with potential for further development for other mathematics topics.
