Abstract

The rise of bullying that occurs in the school environment today is very worrying. One of the impacts is targeting the perpetrator, namely aggressive behavior. This research aims to determine the bullying behavior of students, both seniors and juniors, in Islamic boarding school environments. The main perpetrators in this research were female students and female students who were involved in bullying at Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and literature study. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews with bullying victims directly and literature studies through journals and books. The results of the discussion from this research are that bullying behavior is rampant in Islamic boarding school environments, both direct and indirect bullying. Bullying not only often occurs due to factors in the Islamic boarding school environment, parents are also very influential in the perpetrators of bullying which often occurs in the Islamic boarding school environment. The impact of bullying is also very bad for the health of the victims, quite a few victims experience depression, excessive fear and worry easily.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the benefits of tutoring programs in helping to improve students' learning skills. This study used a qualitative method based on data collection and was carried out by reviewing several books, journals and other documents in print and electronic form. Tutoring is a process that involves a tutor or teacher who provides additional assistance in mastering lesson material. Tutoring can help students learn effective study techniques. Trained tutors can teach students different study methods such as creating a study schedule, reading with comprehension, taking notes, and mastering memory techniques. With this guidance, students will be able to improve their learning efficiency and achieve better results.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach, which uses library research  methods and the data that has been collected is related to the purpose of researchers to find out how to become a professional guidance teacher in overcoming problems in a student. The data collected in this study was sourced from books, literature, and records. Regarding the professional ethics of a supervisory teacher, it is closely related to the process of establishing relationships between teachers and students, efforts to smooth the process of alleviating problems that occur within students.   Therefore, teachers are required to have an ethics and professional attitude instilled in themselves to respond to student discipline problems. Discipline problems still often occur within an individual, including the case with an individual student. Disciplinary problems must be eliminated so that something negative does not arise in students. Efforts to alleviate disciplinary problems are carried out within the school environment. Where teachers are required to be able to provide an understanding of what if there is no discipline in themselves. With this, the purpose of researchers in research is to know how to become a professional teacher in alleviating disciplinary problems.   Keyword : Ethics, Professional, Guidance Teacher, Discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran konseling dalam membentuk kepribadian seseorang karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan atau literatur dengan cara mengumpulkan semua informasi terkait ke itu judul melalui berbagai sumber seperti buku, artikel jurnal dan internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling mempunyai pengaruh sebuah penting peran di dalam karakter pembentukan. Mengembangkan karakter adalah itu utama tugas orang tua yang dilakukan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai moral sebagai landasan norma-norma yang dianut oleh keluarga dan pelaksanaannya dilaksanakan melalui fungsi keluarga. Kemudian didukung dengan bantuan tenaga pendidik, khususnya bimbingan dan penyuluhan guru atau konselor pada sekolah WHO berjuang memberikan pelayanan dan bantuan kepada peserta didik agar mampu membentuk dan mengarahkan milik mereka karakter Dan perilaku sebagai terbaik sebagai mungkin di dalam sesuai dengan milik mereka pembangunan tugas. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Konseling, Pembentukan Karakter, Penyuluhan.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the counseling profession works in society. The method the author uses in this research is the library method or literature study. It is hoped that the title of this article can answer people's questions regarding counseling in society. Specifically regarding the implications of the counseling profession in society, namely that it can be done by providing counseling services that are of the nature of a helping profession or social worker. The result of the discussion of this article is that counseling as a community counseling profession is a concept that underlies the role and function of counselors in today's society. In line with the dynamics of life, the need for guidance and counseling is not only felt in the school environment. Currently, counseling services are being developed in broader settings, namely communities that include families, careers, the elderly and other communities, so counseling in society is really needed.Keyword : Profession, Counseling, Society.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to reveal how the implementation of classical guidance services plays a role as a preventive and curative effort against online game addiction in students of SMP Negeri 2 Kuala. The problem of online game addiction has become a phenomenon that disrupts the learning process and social-emotional development of students. In this study, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with BK teachers, homeroom teachers, and several students who were indicated to be addicted, as well as documentation of the guidance program being run. The results of the study showed that classical guidance services were able to provide students with an understanding of the negative impacts of online game addiction and raise awareness to manage playing time healthily. Preventive efforts were made through the delivery of material on time management, the consequences of addictive behavior, and strengthening learning motivation. Meanwhile, the curative approach was applied with further counseling for students who had shown symptoms of severe addiction. BK teachers also involved parents in the student recovery process. In conclusion, classical guidance services have a significant role in overcoming online game addiction if implemented systematically and continuously.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the implementation of time schedules in classical services can form time discipline in class XI students at SMA YPK Medan. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of the process of implementing time schedules. The results of the study indicate that the consistent implementation of time schedules in classical services can increase students’ awareness of the importance of time discipline in learning activities and other school activities. In addition, the involvement of teachers and counselors in providing routine guidance and supervision is a major supporting factor in forming students’ time discipline behavior. Obstacles that arise, such as lack of motivation and supervision from the surrounding environment, can be overcome through collaboration between the school, students, and parents. Thus, the implementation of time schedules in classical services has proven effective in forming time discipline in class XI students at SMA YPK Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan pendekatan pengembangan dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan siswa terhadap tata tertib sekolah serta norma sopan santun. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan adalah masih adanya perilaku siswa yang kurang disiplin dan kurang memahami pentingnya etika sopan santun dalam lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Medan dengan melibatkan 35 siswa kelas XI-4 IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket pre dan post-assesment, dokumentasi, dan wawancara informal dengan guru BK. Layanan dirancang dengan metode diskusi kelompok serta media kartu kuis sebagai sarana belajar interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sikap positif siswa terhadap tata tertib dan norma sopan santun di sekolah setelah mengikuti layanan. Skor rata-rata siswa dalam memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai disiplin dan etika sosial meningkat secara signifikan setelah layanan diberikan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pengembangan dalam layanan klasikal efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan tanggung jawab sosial peserta didik. Implikasi penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan klasikal yang interaktif dan kontekstual sebagai bagian integral dari pendidikan karakter yang holistik dan berkelanjutan di sekolah.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan masalah serius yang masih sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dan berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis, motivasi belajar, serta hubungan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi layanan dasar bimbingan klasikal sebagai upaya preventif dalam mencegah perilaku bullying dan menumbuhkan empati siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Juni 2025 terhadap 30 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 13 Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung, analisis lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD), dan instrumen penilaian proses. Layanan disampaikan melalui bimbingan klasikal menggunakan media visual (poster), diskusi interaktif, dan aktivitas keterlibatan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memberikan respon aktif dan positif terhadap layanan. Sebanyak 60% siswa terlibat sangat aktif, 26,7% aktif, dan hanya 13,3% kurang aktif. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang jenis-jenis bullying serta strategi untuk mencegahnya, seperti melaporkan kepada guru dan membantu teman yang menjadi korban. Temuan ini selaras dengan prinsip pendidikan karakter dan menunjukkan bahwa layanan klasikal, jika dilaksanakan dengan baik, dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mencegah bullying di sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan praktik bimbingan dan konseling, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam yang menekankan nilai kasih sayang, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Disarankan agar layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan topik anti bullying diintegrasikan secara konsisten ke dalam program sekolah guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan mendukung.

Abstract

Masalah rasa malas belajar merupakan salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), yang dapat menghambat pencapaian prestasi akademik dan perkembangan kepribadian siswa secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi layanan bimbingan klasikal sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi rasa malas belajar pada siswa SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan klasikal yang dilaksanakan secara sistematis, partisipatif, dan komunikatif mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Materi layanan yang mencakup manajemen waktu, pengenalan diri, serta teknik belajar efektif disampaikan melalui metode diskusi, refleksi, dan simulasi. Layanan ini didasarkan pada teori hierarki kebutuhan Maslow, pendekatan humanistik Carl Rogers, dan konseling rasional emotif dari Corey. Secara umum, layanan bimbingan klasikal terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa mengatasi hambatan belajar dan membentuk sikap belajar yang mandiri dan bertanggung jawab. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya penguatan program bimbingan klasikal sebagai bagian integral dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah menengah.
