Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in developing quality human resources. To ensure equal access to education, the government has launched various scholarship programs. However, the management and distribution of scholarships often face challenges in terms of accurate data collection and spatial distribution analysis. This study aims to map the distribution of scholarship recipients in Jambi Province using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach with QGIS software. The research uses spatial data in the form of administrative boundaries of Jambi Province and non-spatial data on the number of scholarship recipients per district/city obtained from the JDAC Jambi official website. The data were processed using attribute joining, classification with the Natural Breaks (Jenks) method, and visualization through a choropleth map. The results show that scholarship recipients are unevenly distributed, with higher concentrations in urban and densely populated areas such as Jambi City and Muaro Jambi Regency, while regions like Tebo and Sarolangun have relatively low numbers. This indicates the influence of population density, availability of higher education institutions, and information accessibility on scholarship distribution. The use of QGIS proved effective in presenting spatial data visually and supporting data-driven policymaking. The study recommends that local governments utilize spatial analysis in scholarship distribution planning to enhance equity and program effectiveness.

Abstract

Mama Tika's Pempek Shop is one of the places that is busy with buyers, making the service busy, especially in the payment section. The problems found based on observations and interviews were that there were queues during the payment process at the cashier due to the recording of order notes, recording of sales results was still done in a ledger so it took quite a long time to record based on the type ordered, purchases still used menu leaflets and recorded in an order receipt by the waiter, errors during the payment transaction process can occur due to calculations using a calculator and this causes complaints from consumers if there is a discrepancy in the payment amount with what the consumer ordered, because there is no printed proof of the transaction (receipt) available. can be given to consumers and the supply of raw materials in making pempek is not controlled so that when the consumer orders one of the orders the raw materials are not available in the supply area (warehouse). The aim of this research is to produce a payment information system at the Mama Tika Pempek Shop using the Laravel framework with Midtrans payment gateway so that the subsequent payment system becomes easier, faster and more efficient. The research results obtained are that the system created can record payment transactions, sales, manage product stock and print reports related to sales data by the cashier. Owners can also access the system to monitor transaction processes and manage user data because the systems are integrated with each other. Each part of the system has been tested to ensure the success of the system in carrying out its functionality.

Abstract

Ketersedian informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat merupakan faktor penting dalam sektor pelayanan publik termasuk pemerintah baik pusat maupun daerah. Termasuk dengan Dinas Perhubungan Kota Jambi yang telah menerapkan penggunaan perangkat lunak untuk memproses data menjadi informasi . Dalam pelaksanaanya masih terdapat beberapa kendala terhadap sumber daya manusia yang ada seperti keterlambatan dan kurangnya pengetahuan terkait teknologi informasi terutama dalam penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan staf dapat meningkatan keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran untuk mendapatkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

Pada penelitian sebelumnya didapatkan hasil perhitungan usability terhadap aplikasi e-Learning Universitas X menggunakan system usability testing sebesar 68.97 yang berarti aplikasi yang digunakan saat ini masih bisa diterima penggunaannya oleh pengguna namun bersifat marginal sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan sistem. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis mengajukan sebuah penelitian untuk mengembangkan sistem e-learning yang ada saat ini dengan menggunakan gamifikasi. Metodelogi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah throw away prototyping, yang pada tahap analisisisnya menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner serta analisa sentimen. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka gamifikasi layak untuk diterapkan pada e-Learning Universitas X, nilai system usabilty scale gamifikasi dan e-Learning yang sama yaitu 72.5, namun mahasiswa memiliki keinginan untuk mencoba penerapan prototipe.

Abstract

The Betel nut is a plantation commodity with significant economic potential, particularly as an export product. However, marketing activities among farmers and traders still face obstacles, such as limited access to price information, less than optimal promotions, and a narrow distribution network. This study aims to design and develop a web-based betel nut marketing information system that can support the promotion and transaction process. The system development method used refers to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, namely the waterfall, starting from user needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. This system was created using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, and is equipped with key features such as product data management, price recording, information publication and communication media between farmers and traders, as well as a payment gateway feature. Testing results using the black box testing approach showed that the system can function according to the design. With this information system, it is expected that betel nut marketing will be more structured, market access will be wider, and farmers and traders will obtain a more competitive selling price.
