Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran aktif berorganisasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa, dengan mengambil perspektif akademik menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 33 mahasiswa yang secara aktif terlibat dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket Skala Likert yang terdiri dari 20 soal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t, dengan hasil menunjukkan nilai t sebesar 2.710 dan nilai sig sebesar 0.027. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan indikasi adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam perkembangan keterampilan mahasiswa yang terlibat aktif dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peran aktif dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa, khususnya dalam konteks akademik.Abstract: The aim of this research is to analyze the active role of organizational involvement in enhancing students' skills, taking an academic perspective using a quantitative approach and survey methods. The research subjects involved 33 students actively engaged in student organizations. The research instrument used was a Likert Scale questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. Data analysis was conducted using the t-test, with the results showing a t-value of 2.710 and a sig value of 0.027. The findings of this research indicate a significant difference in the development of skills among students actively involved in student organizations. These results suggest that active involvement in student organizations has a positive impact on enhancing students' skills, particularly in the academic context.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keaktifan mahasiswa dalam diskusi proses perkuliahan yang dibantu oleh ChatGPT. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif berbasis proyek, melibatkan 49 mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk mengamati tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa selama proses perkuliahan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t one sample t-test untuk mengukur signifikansi perbedaan antara nilai mean observasi dengan nilai yang diharapkan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai t-test sebesar 6.126, dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000. Nilai mean difference yang diperoleh sebesar 16.68592. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keaktifan mahasiswa selama diskusi menggunakan ChatGPT dengan keaktifan yang diharapkan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pemahaman tentang efektivitas ChatGPT dalam meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi, serta penerapan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas diskusi dalam konteks perkuliahan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada literatur penelitian evaluasi keaktifan mahasiswa dengan pendekatan inovatif menggunakan teknologi ChatGPT.Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the level of student engagement in discussions during university lectures assisted by ChatGPT. The research adopts a quantitative, project-based approach involving 49 university students as research subjects. The research instrument utilized is an observation sheet designed to assess student participation levels throughout the lecture sessions. Data analysis employs a one-sample t-test to measure the significance of differences between the observed mean values and the expected values. The results of the data analysis reveal a t-test value of 6.126, with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. The mean difference value obtained is 16.68592, indicating a significant disparity between student engagement during discussions facilitated by ChatGPT and the expected level of engagement. These findings contribute significantly to understanding the effectiveness of ChatGPT in enhancing student participation in the lecture process. The practical implications of this research can serve as a foundation for the development of technology-assisted teaching methods and the implementation of strategies to improve the quality of discussions in the academic context. This study contributes to the research literature on the evaluation of student engagement, employing an innovative approach through the utilization of ChatGPT technology.

Abstract

The legal events that happened to Ferdy Sambo and the Supreme Court’s decision in the cassation triggered emotional reactions and various opinions among the public, especially on social media sites such as Xapps. Some comments reflect people’s concerns about fairness in the legal system. They doubted the integrity of legal institutions or believed that decisions were unfair or in line with vested interests. This research aims to analyze public perceptions of Supreme Court decisions. The research process includes data collection, preprocessing, labeling, weighting, classification using Support Vector Machine and Naïve Bayes, and performance evaluation using a confusion matrix. A dataset of 624 was taken from X apps using the Twitter scraping technique. The lexicon method is used for data labeling, dividing the data into positive, negative, and neutral classes. The analysis results show 46 tweets categorized as positive sentiment, 133 tweets categorized as negative sentiment, and 422 tweets categorized as neutral sentiment. Based on testing with a data ratio of 80:20, both SVM and NB methods show good performance. The SVM criteria showed an accuracy of 0.84, precision of 0.61, recall of 0.78, and f1-score of 0.66, while the NB criteria showed an accuracy of 0.73, precision of 0.37, recall of 0.57, and f1-score of 0.35.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis yang lebih mendalam terhadap peran laboratorium virtual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari 46 artikel penelitian yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode meta-analisis dengan memanfaatkan nilai effect size (ES) dan standard error (SE), dan hasilnya diolah melalui perangkat lunak JASP untuk mendapatkan nilai summary effect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laboratorium virtual memiliki dampak positif signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 76% atau 0.76, yang masuk dalam kategori efek tinggi. Lebih lanjut, analisis berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan mengindikasikan bahwa dampak positif ini berbeda-beda, yakni sebesar 74% di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi, 79% di tingkat SMA, dan 71% di tingkat SMP. Terdapat peningkatan nilai yang lebih signifikan pada tingkat SMA, menunjukkan bahwa implementasi laboratorium virtual seharusnya lebih difokuskan di tingkat tersebut di masa mendatang. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply about virtual laboratories in improving students' creative thinking skills. The data obtained were 46 articles from previous research published in the last 5 years, then analyzed using meta-analysis through the effect size (ES) value and standard error (SE) to see the summary effect value using JASP software. The results show that virtual laboratories can improve students' creative thinking skills with an average value of 76% or 0.76 with a high effect category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis based on the level of education show that the university level has an effect of 74%, high school level of 79%, and junior high school of 71%. The greater value at the high school level, so that in the future, virtual laboratories are highly emphasized to be implemented at the high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategies in enhancing students' creativity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the research analyzes literature indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar from 2017 to 2024. The findings reveal that PBL holds significant potential in increasing student engagement, creativity, and problem-solving skills. However, its implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah faces several challenges, including limited resources, time constraints, and insufficient teacher training. Additionally, logistical issues such as large class sizes, inadequate facilities, and difficulties in fostering team collaboration among students pose substantial barriers. The role of teachers as facilitators is crucial in ensuring the success of PBL, yet it requires support through continuous training, curriculum alignment, and effective time management. This study recommends enhancing teacher capacity and developing infrastructure to optimize PBL practices for fostering student creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using mobile applications in fostering self-awareness and empathy among students in the context of character education. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The research subjects consist of 48 students and 14 teachers from elementary, middle, and high school levels. The research instrument used is a Likert Scale questionnaire, consisting of 14 items for teachers and 20 items for students. Data analysis was conducted using a t-test, which showed that there was no significant difference between the responses given by teachers and students regarding the use of mobile applications in developing self-awareness and empathy. Similarly, there was no significant difference between male and female students in terms of their responses to the application. This research provides an important contribution to the understanding of the potential use of technology, particularly mobile applications, in the context of character education. The practical implication of this study is that educators can utilize mobile applications as an effective tool in shaping students' character, regardless of gender. Further research can deepen the understanding of the factors influencing responses to mobile applications and explore more specific strategies for implementing character education through technology.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Drill and Practice method in enhancing the ablution (wudhu) practical skills of students at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ). The research design employed is quantitative with a pre-test and post-test approach. The instrument utilized consists of a set of 5 essay questions. The research subjects encompassed 17 TPQ students participating in the learning program utilizing the Drill and Practice method. The research findings indicate that the average pre-test score was 82.35, while the post-test score increased to 91.54. This signifies a significant improvement in ablution practical skills following the implementation of the Drill and Practice method. The N-Gain analysis yielded an average of 0.48 (moderate category) or 48.07% in percentage terms (moderately positive category). These findings affirm the effectiveness of the Drill and Practice method in enhancing the ablution practical skills of TPQ students. This research contributes to the understanding of instructional methods that can be implemented in the context of religious education. The practical implications of this study can serve as a reference for TPQ administrators and educators to enhance the quality of religious education, particularly in the daily practice of rituals such as ablution. Abstract

Abstrak: Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang muslim karena membaca Al-Qur’an merupakan petunjuk hidup dan sumber inspirasi. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas bacaan Al-Qur'an bagi remaja Masjid Nurul Iman Sumbawa melalui pelatihan menggunakan metode Tahsin Tilawah. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari pra kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan tilawah pada diri mitra dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 11,73. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase (%) peningkatan kemampuan tilawah mitra pada masing-masing tingkatan nada atau bacaan diantaranya ta’awudz sebesar 47,27, basmalah sebesar 47,27, qoror (nada dasar) sebesar 38,18, nawa (menengah) sebesar 36,36, jawab (tinggi) sebesar 34,55, jawabul jawab (tertinggi) sebesar 30,91. Hal ini menandakan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kualitas bacaan Al-Qur'an remaja Masjid Nurul Iman Sumbawa.Abstract: The ability to read the Qur'an is an ability that must be possessed by a Muslim because reading the Qur'an is a guide to life and a source of inspiration. This PKM activity aims to improve the quality of Qur'an reading for teenagers of Nurul Iman Mosque Sumbawa through training using the Tahsin Tilawah method. The stages of activities consist of pre-activity, implementation of activities and evaluation. The results of the training showed an increase in recitation skills in partners with an average score of 11.73. While the average percentage (%) increase in the ability of tilawah partners at each level of tone or reading including ta'awudz of 47.27, basmalah of 47.27, qoror (basic tone) of 38.18, nawa (intermediate) of 36.36, answer (high) of 34.55, answerul jawab (highest) of 30.91. This indicates that the activity runs smoothly making a positive contribution to the development of the quality of Qur'an reading for teenagers of Nurul Iman Mosque Sumbawa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan literatur sistematis terhadap peran teknologi digital dalam perlindungan dan pemeliharaan tari tradisional di era digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sistematis literatur review dengan sumber literatur yang dipilih dari pengindeks Scopus, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar, dengan rentang tahun terbit antara 2013-2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memperkuat upaya perlindungan, pemeliharaan, dan pengembangan tarian tradisional. Studi-studi yang dilakukan mengungkap bahwa teknologi digital memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap berbagai aspek, seperti promosi, dokumentasi, penyimpanan, dan pengajaran tentang tarian tradisional. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan juga beberapa tantangan dan kesenjangan dalam penerapan teknologi digital dalam konteks pelestarian budaya ini. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pembuat kebijakan, praktisi budaya, dan akademisi dalam mengembangkan strategi yang berkelanjutan dalam memelihara kekayaan budaya yang tak ternilai harganya di era digital.
