Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keaktifan mahasiswa dalam diskusi proses perkuliahan yang dibantu oleh ChatGPT. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif berbasis proyek, melibatkan 49 mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk mengamati tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa selama proses perkuliahan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t one sample t-test untuk mengukur signifikansi perbedaan antara nilai mean observasi dengan nilai yang diharapkan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai t-test sebesar 6.126, dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000. Nilai mean difference yang diperoleh sebesar 16.68592. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keaktifan mahasiswa selama diskusi menggunakan ChatGPT dengan keaktifan yang diharapkan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pemahaman tentang efektivitas ChatGPT dalam meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi, serta penerapan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas diskusi dalam konteks perkuliahan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada literatur penelitian evaluasi keaktifan mahasiswa dengan pendekatan inovatif menggunakan teknologi ChatGPT.Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the level of student engagement in discussions during university lectures assisted by ChatGPT. The research adopts a quantitative, project-based approach involving 49 university students as research subjects. The research instrument utilized is an observation sheet designed to assess student participation levels throughout the lecture sessions. Data analysis employs a one-sample t-test to measure the significance of differences between the observed mean values and the expected values. The results of the data analysis reveal a t-test value of 6.126, with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. The mean difference value obtained is 16.68592, indicating a significant disparity between student engagement during discussions facilitated by ChatGPT and the expected level of engagement. These findings contribute significantly to understanding the effectiveness of ChatGPT in enhancing student participation in the lecture process. The practical implications of this research can serve as a foundation for the development of technology-assisted teaching methods and the implementation of strategies to improve the quality of discussions in the academic context. This study contributes to the research literature on the evaluation of student engagement, employing an innovative approach through the utilization of ChatGPT technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the evaluation of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at MI Riyadul Palah Aikperapa Aikmel East Lombok and to find out the obstacles to evaluating the implementation of the curriculum at MI Riyadul Falah Aikperapa. The school has been using the 2013 curriculum for a long time. The curriculum is a very important tool in realizing and achieving school education goals. On this basis, this study intends to find evaluations and obstacles to the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at MI Riyadul Palah Aikperapa located in Aimel District, East Lombok Regency, NTB. The focus of this journal issue is how to evaluate the implementation of the curriculum and the obstacles encountered in evaluating the implementation of the curriculum. In this assessment the author uses a qualitative descriptive research type. with three stages of data collection namely, (1) observation (observation), (2) interview (interview), and (3) documentation. The research data collection method uses non-statistical analysis suitable for descriptive data or structural data that is not realized in the form of numbers, all data is analyzed using identification, classification, and interpretation. The results obtained are (1) One of the evaluations of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum related to teacher readiness in planning, implementation and assessment has been carried out properly. (2) the obstacles encountered are: Teachers still do not understand the assessment in the 2013 curriculum in recapitulating assessments on report cards, preparing lesson plans and the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific article is to find out about the reconstruction of the educational curriculum: a philosophical analysis to build student creativity. Reconstructing the educational curriculum is an important effort to adapt the education system to the demands of the ever-evolving times. This paper aims to provide an analytical philosophy in the context of curriculum reconstruction, with a focus on building student creativity. The philosophical approach provides a theoretical basis for understanding the essence of education and the role of creativity in the learning process. This analysis includes an in-depth understanding of the principles of educational philosophy, such as human essence, educational goals, and views on knowledge. The philosophies of existentialism and progressivism are the main conceptual frameworks that encourage student empowerment to develop their creative potential. Thus, it is hoped that the reconstruction of the educational curriculum based on philosophical analysis can create a generation of students who are not only skilled in terms of knowledge, but also have the ability to think creatively and innovatively in facing future challenges.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) To describe the concept of madrasa principal leadership, 2) madrasa principal leadership governance, 3) madrasa principal leadership innovation and 4) challenges faced by madrasah principals in implementing the independent learning curriculum. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research are the head of MIN 1 Mataram in Implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum, which is to return students to their rights as human beings as the implementation of humanism education where schools are expected to accommodate students according to their interests because each child has their own uniqueness and preferential treatment that makes that uniqueness unique. valuable and meaningful. The innovations made by the Head of MIN 1 Mataram in the context of implementing the learning curriculum, including: 1) increasing the professionalism of human resources, especially teachers at MIN I Mataram, 2) increasing the ability to supervise learning guided by the supervision instrument 3) Innovation related to governance management using the term division, and increased the number of divisions to 11 divisions, namely: a) Curriculum Division, b) Partnership Division (Humas), c) Language Development Division, d) Language Development Division, e) Library Division, f) Religious Division, g) Sports and Health, h) Infrastructure Division, i) UKS/Health Division, j) Arts and Culture Division, k) Security and Order Division

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the waste management process at MI Nurul Qur'an Pagutan and its influence on improving students' ecological understanding. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with a phenomenological approach, which observes waste management practices in schools and their influence on students' environmental awareness. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation related to waste management policies and activities at the madrasah. The results of the study indicate that the waste management program at MI Nurul Qur'an has succeeded in forming positive habits among students, such as disposing of waste in its place and maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment. This program not only aims for cleanliness, but also to instill ecological values and environmental responsibility in students. However, there are obstacles that reduce the effectiveness of the program, such as the lack of student discipline in sorting waste and limited supporting facilities, such as trash bins and recycling facilities. In addition, students' ecological understanding still needs to be improved, especially in connecting theoretical knowledge with daily practice. This study suggests that schools should integrate more project-based practical activities in ecology learning to deepen students' understanding of environmental issues, as well as improve facilities and involve experts in waste management to support the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tulisan ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui berkenaan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka: Langkah Menuju Pendidikan yang Berfokus pada Kreativitas dan Kemandirian di Sekolah Dasar Negeri. Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, kreatif, dan mandiri. Melalui pendekatan ini, guru dan sekolah diberi kebebasan dalam menyusun kurikulum yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa, memungkinkan proses belajar yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan. Kurikulum ini mengedepankan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project-Based Learning) dan integrasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yang bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, serta kemandirian. Asesmen dalam Kurikulum Merdeka juga lebih holistik, menggantikan Ujian Nasional dengan Asesmen Nasional yang mengukur kompetensi literasi, numerasi, serta karakter siswa. Meski memiliki keunggulan dalam mendorong inovasi pendidikan, tantangan seperti kesiapan guru, kesenjangan infrastruktur, dan perbedaan implementasi di berbagai daerah masih menjadi isu yang perlu diatasi. Dengan dukungan yang tepat, Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi menciptakan generasi muda yang lebih siap menghadapi tantangan global dan memiliki karakter yang kuat serta keterampilan yang relevan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategies in enhancing students' creativity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the research analyzes literature indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar from 2017 to 2024. The findings reveal that PBL holds significant potential in increasing student engagement, creativity, and problem-solving skills. However, its implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah faces several challenges, including limited resources, time constraints, and insufficient teacher training. Additionally, logistical issues such as large class sizes, inadequate facilities, and difficulties in fostering team collaboration among students pose substantial barriers. The role of teachers as facilitators is crucial in ensuring the success of PBL, yet it requires support through continuous training, curriculum alignment, and effective time management. This study recommends enhancing teacher capacity and developing infrastructure to optimize PBL practices for fostering student creativity.

Abstract

Integrative Thematic Learning is an educational approach that integrates various competencies from different subjects into a specific theme. This theme is current, closely related to the students' world, and present in their daily lives. This study aims to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of integrative thematic teaching materials in elementary schools over a decade. Using a quantitative meta-analysis method, data were obtained from various databases identified based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the validity of integrative thematic teaching materials reached 81%, while their effectiveness was 86%, and practicality was 85%. These findings indicate that the teaching materials have a high capability to enhance student learning performance and support their use in everyday learning processes. These findings provide a strong foundation for the development and implementation of curriculum teaching materials at the elementary level, as well as improving the quality of teaching and learning outcomes. Therefore, this study makes an important contribution to policymakers, educators, and curriculum developers in efforts to improve the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

The emergence of independent learning has shifted the educational paradigm in Indonesia, emphasizing a student-centered approach. Consequently, the responsibility for curriculum development has been delegated to schools, enabling them to tailor the curriculum to their local needs and conditions. This research aims to examine the central role of the school principal in leading the implementation of the independent curriculum at MIN 1 Mataram. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology, the study is conducted at MIN 1 Mataram, employing data collection methods including interviews, document analysis, and observations. Primary data sources encompass the school principal, educators, and other stakeholders, while secondary data sources include scholarly journals, online publications, websites, books, and various academic literature. Data analysis follows a systematic approach involving data reduction, presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. Ensuring the validity of the findings entails assessing internal validity (credibility), external validity (transferability), reliability (dependability), and objectivity (confirmability). Observation findings reveal several challenges, including limited teacher competencies related to the independent curriculum, suboptimal implementation of differentiated learning strategies, and incomplete integration of information technology into various activities, particularly learning processes. In addressing these challenges, the Head of MIN 1 Mataram assumes a multifaceted leadership role encompassing planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the independent learning initiatives within the educational unit.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using mobile applications in fostering self-awareness and empathy among students in the context of character education. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The research subjects consist of 48 students and 14 teachers from elementary, middle, and high school levels. The research instrument used is a Likert Scale questionnaire, consisting of 14 items for teachers and 20 items for students. Data analysis was conducted using a t-test, which showed that there was no significant difference between the responses given by teachers and students regarding the use of mobile applications in developing self-awareness and empathy. Similarly, there was no significant difference between male and female students in terms of their responses to the application. This research provides an important contribution to the understanding of the potential use of technology, particularly mobile applications, in the context of character education. The practical implication of this study is that educators can utilize mobile applications as an effective tool in shaping students' character, regardless of gender. Further research can deepen the understanding of the factors influencing responses to mobile applications and explore more specific strategies for implementing character education through technology.
