Abstract

Saat seseorang menikmati momen-momen yang menyenangkan seperti melakukan permainan seru, dopamin dilepaskan ke otak, menghasilkan sensasi kebahagiaan yang mendorong individu serta menjadi komponen integral dalam sistem penghargaan otak. Lebih jauh, dopamin juga memiliki keterkaitan yang erat dengan berbagai perasaan positif lainnya, mulai dari perasaan jatuh cinta, kegembiraan, hingga peningkatan rasa percaya diri. Kepercayaan diri adalah keyakinan akan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengatasi masalah dan memberikan partisipasi yang positif bagi individu lain. Dalam ranah pendidikan, model pembelajaran kooperatif telah muncul sebagai pendekatan yang efektif untuk memperkuat kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Model ini memfasilitasi siswa untuk bekerja sama dalam kelompok kecil, saling membantu, berdiskusi, dan memperdalam pemahaman atas materi pelajaran. Salah satu varian yang menonjol dari model ini adalah Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT), di mana siswa diarahkan dalam tim kecil untuk bersaing dalam permainan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman  mereka terhadap materi. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis dampak penggunaan Cooperative Learning tipe TGT dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik, terutama pada siswa kelas V di SDN Sukaharja 1. Melalui penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil yaitu terjadinya peningkatan keaktifan dan percaya diri peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe TGT. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, konsentrasi , dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik.

Abstract

Beauty Vlogger is a content creator who provides beauty information to his audience, usually beauty vlooger reviews a beauty product and also recommends a skincare product. One of the beauty vloggers who likes to review beauty products is Mary Angline. Mary Angline often makes videos with a beauty theme, namely with video content reviewing beauty products, one of which is skincare to fulfill the information needs of her audience, viewers who watch Mary Angline's content also comment. This study aims to determine the effect of skincare review content on meeting the information needs of commentators on the video "Under 50rb! Rating The Originote (acne prone & oily comby)". This study uses two variables, namely review content with sub-variables of message, message attractiveness, towards fulfilling commentators' information needs, cognitive needs, affective needs, integrative personal needs, integrative social needs, release needs. The theory used is the theory of uses and gratifications. The research method used is a quantitative research method with an explanatory study. The measurement scale used is a Likert scale. The research was conducted on respondents who were commentators on the video "Under 50k! Rating The Originote (acne prone & oily comby)" with a sample size of 123 people based on the slovin formula with an error tolerance of 5%. The result of this study is that there is an effect of skincare review content on fulfilling the information needs of commentators on the video "Under 50k! Rating The Originote (acne prone & oily comby)" with a large influence of 59.5%. The review content factor that most influences the fulfillment of commentators' information needs is the visual influence on cognitive needs with a t value (13.877) > t table (1.980).

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the symbolic interaction of Sundanese aesthetic forms within Usik Sanyiru Padanan, which is an effort to revitalize the tradition of pencak silat. The researcher used a qualitative research method. The results show that Sundanese aesthetic forms within Usik Sanyiru Padanan area based on two important concepts i.e., opat kalima pancer and Sundanese aesthetic forms (triangle, square, and circle). Both concepts are the basis of the three styles in Usik Sanyiru Padanan, and deal with the idea of exist-exist, exist-empty and empty-empty. These concepts are the representation of destiny and humans as decreed by God. By perfecting oneself and using religion as one’s guide, their destiny will be flanked by virtue and wisdom. By interacting with their peers, the martial artists share an idea of the meaning of life: the desire to preserve the tradition of pencak silat art by mastering Usik Sanyiru Padanan and that the mastering of it will lead to the understanding of the Sundanese philosophical values. From this point, we can see that the revitalization of the pencak silat tradition through Usik Sanyiru Padanan essentially includes the preservation of Sundanese philosophical values. These values are rich with religious meaning and spiritual depth which are the guidance for the everyday life of Sundanese communities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang interaksi simbolik estetika bentuk kesundaan melalui Usik Sanyiru Padanan sebagai bentuk revitalisasi tradisi pencak silat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbol estetika bentuk kesundaan di dalam Usik Sanyiru Padanan bersumber dari dua konsep penting, yakni konsep opat kalima pancer dan konsep estetika bentuk kesundaan yang tertuang dalam bentuk segitiga, segi empat, dan lingkaran. Kedua konsep tersebut tertuang pada tiga gaya jurus yang terdapat pada Usik Sanyiru Padanan yang memiliki konsep isi-isi, isi-kosong, dan kosong-kosong yang merupakan pengejawantahan dari takdir dan diri manusia yang berasal dari Tuhan. Dengan menjalani laku diri yang sempurna dan berpedoman pada religiusitas, takdir tersebut akan berjalan beriringan dengan kebajikan dan kebijaksanaan. Melalui interaksi antar sesamanya, para pesilat menemui kesamaan makna mengenai kehidupan. Pertama, munculnya keinginan untuk mempertahankan tradisi pencak silat dengan menguasai Usik Sanyiru Padanan. Kedua, penguasaan terhadap Usik Sanyiru Padanan membuat para pesilat memahami setiap gerakannya mengandung nilai-nilai falsafah kesundaan. Dengan demikian, revitalisasi tradisi pencak silat melalui Usik Sanyiru Padanan pada hakikatnya berbicara mengenai pelestarian nilai-nilai falsafah Sunda yang sarat oleh makna religiusitas dengan kedalaman spiritual sebagai tuntunan hidup masyarakat Sunda di dalam menjalani kehidupannya.

Abstract

The phenomenon of broken homes has been widely discussed in the current social media era along with the increasing public awareness of mental health. This study explores the lives of people who have gone through the difficult experience of a broken home. It focuses on those who listen to the podcast "Happy Broken Family" and are part of a Telegram group called "Broken Home Survivors." This research used a qualitative approach, with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. Data collection methods include primary data through interviews and observations, as well as secondary data from books, journals, and documentation. The selection of informants was done using sampling, ensuring that participants had relevant knowledge on the topic. It was found that the broken home survivors felt that their success really depended on their own efforts. Many of them relate to the podcast's message about overcoming the struggles that come with having an intact family. They addressed their current situation with humor and gained positive insights from their experiences. The virtual community helped each other, providing support, but some participants mentioned missing a guiding figure to mediate their experiences. Ultimately, this study shows that people can find ways to come to terms with a broken home background and apply the positive lessons they have learned from the "Happy Broken Family" podcast and their supportive online community.

Abstract

In the city of Bandung there are Ethnic Chinese who spread throughout the central point of trade to sell by employing Ethnic Sundanese. The object of this research is the communication pattern of Chinese ethnic traders with Sundanese ethnic employees in the Cibadak Shopping Center, Bandung City. The purpose of this research is to find out the communication process, communication barriers and find out the reasons why face negotiation is needed between Chinese ethnic traders and Sundanese ethnic employees at the Cibadak Shopping Center in Bandung City. This research uses qualitative methods and a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observations to Chinese ethnic merchants and Sundanese ethnic employees. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity techniques use source triangulation. The results of this study reveal that the communication pattern used is circular communication, traders and employees apply facework theory where both parties respect each other, solidarity facework where both parties accept each other's existence, sensitivity facework where there is involvement of both parties in various social activities that occur, not just in work activities. The barriers that occur are barriers in terms of language, where there are differences in language backgrounds used by both parties. Face negotiations between ethnic Chinese traders and ethnic Sundanese employees are carried out to build good and smooth communication between the two parties.

Abstract

Background: Early marriage is a prevalent practice in Cigondewah Rahayu Village, Bandung City. From a psychological and social perspective, early marriage can lead to emotional immaturity and underdeveloped cognitive abilities among young brides. The persistence of traditional customs surrounding early marriage in the area serves as a compelling motivation for researchers to investigate this phenomenon. Purpose: This study aims to explore the community’s interpretation of early marriage from the perspective of intrapersonal communication. Additionally, it seeks to understand the experiences of individuals who have participated in early marriages in Cigondewah Rahayu Village, Bandung City. Methods: This research employs a qualitative approach, drawing on Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological studies and the theory of Symbolic interactionism. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis involved techniques such as data reduction, presentation, and verification. Results: The findings indicate that, within the context of intrapersonal communication, early marriage is commonly perceived as a normal practice within the local community, deeply rooted in historical traditions. Participants view early marriage as a ritual that holds religious significance. Moreover, they believe that it facilitates the development of a mature mindset, fostering independence and generating positive impacts in various aspects of their lives, particularly within their social interactions. Implications: Based on the study’s findings, it is important to raise public awareness regarding the potential risks associated with early marriage. Given the unstable mental condition of young individuals, engaging in early marriage can give rise to challenges within the household, as their psychological development is not yet fully equipped to handle the responsibilities and complexities of married life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas isu gender dalam konteks pariwisata lokal di Pringgasela, Lombok Timur, dengan tujuan untuk memahami peran perempuan dalam pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi wawancara mendalam dan survei terhadap responden yang terdiri dari perempuan dan laki-laki di desa tersebut. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah bahwa peningkatan peran perempuan dalam sektor pariwisata dapat mengurangi kesenjangan gender. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun perempuan berkontribusi signifikan dalam kegiatan ekonomi, mereka masih menghadapi hambatan dalam akses pendidikan dan pengambilan keputusan. Kontribusi tulisan ini terletak pada pentingnya strategi termasuk keanggotaan perempuan, dan bagaimana festival tradisional dapat menjadi alat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran gender dan daya tarik pariwisata. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pengembangan kebijakan yang mendukung kesetaraan gender dan keberlanjutan pariwisata di Pringgasela

Abstract

Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk memahami perilaku pasien dan membantu pasien dalam menghadapi masalah. Komunikasi terapeutik ini telah diterapkan di Di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi oleh para pengasuh lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik komunikasi terapeutik yang digunakan pengasuh, mengetahui alasan dan juga hambatan dalam pelaksanaanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus dan menggunakan konsep komunikasi terapeutik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan pada pengasuh setempat. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi menggunakan tiga belas teknik teurapeutik kecuali teknik membagi persepsi. Teknik yang sering digunakan adalah bertanya dan mendengarkan. Selanjutnya alasan digunakannya teknik-teknik tersebut utamanya, guna membantu memahami keadaan lansia dan mencegah hipertensi. Hambatan komunikasi teurapeutik yang ditemukan adalah hambatan fisik seperti gangguan pendengaran pada lansia dan hambatan dari penerima pesan lainnya seperti enggan memberikan tanggapan dan memilih menyendiri.

Abstract

This community service focuses on the revitalization of pencak silat through the Serepan Patalekan Usik Sanyiru festival, by utilizing digital technology based on cultural visualization as an effort to create the first Penca Village tourism destination in West Java. The background of this service arises from concerns about the loss of the pencak silat tradition as an intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. The main purpose of this activity is to revive the public's interest in pencak silat, as well as to increase people's understanding and skills in preserving this martial art. The methods used in this community service include socialization and training for the community about the Usik Sanyiru Matching pencak silat technique, as well as the application of digital technology to support promotion and documentation. This activity also involved students and lecturers from the Indonesian University of Informatics and Business in the revitalization process held in Jayagiri Village. The results of the service show an increase in community participation in pencak silat activities, as well as the formation of an active pencak silat community. In addition, the use of social media and digital technology in festival promotion has also succeeded in increasing awareness of the existence of pencak silat art among the younger generation. By directly involving the community and utilizing technology, this activity not only has a positive impact on the preservation of local culture, but also contributes to the development of the tourism industry in the area

Abstract

Program Bandung Menjawab merupakan produk unggulan Diskominfo Kota Bandung dengan tujuan untuk mengklarifikasi, mensosialisasikan, dan mengkonfirmasi isu yang tengah berkembang di masyarakat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan perencanaan dan strategi media relations, juga mengetahui alasan mengapa media gatheting menjadi pilihan dalam melakukan kegiatan media relations pada program Bandung Menjawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus, dengan menggunakan konsep model perencanaan ROPE oleh John.M.King dan Strategi Media Relations oleh Yosal Iriantara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tahap perencanaan meliputi empat tahap, Tahap Riset, Tahap objektif, Tahap Program, dan Tahap evaluasi. Mengelola relasi, adanya pertukaran kartu nama, dan adanya kegiatan informal diluar program bandung menjawab. Mengembangkan relasi, melakukan doorstop (wawancara langsung) kepada SKPD selaku narasumber. Mengembangkan jaringan, membuka dan memperluas jaringan dengan organisasi profesi seperti PBB (Pewarta Balai Kota Bandung). Program Bandung Menjawab sebagai bentuk penerapan media gathering dipilih karena sebagai media mempertemukan SKPD sebagai narasumber dan pers.
