Abstract

Research aims to investigate the transformation of Social Science Education (IPS) in facing digital disruption in the 21st century and its implications for the millennial generation. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method to understand the transformation of IPS education at MI Yatabu Surabaya in the era of digital disruption. The focus is on describing the challenges of modernity and the impact of digital disruption on the millennial generation. Involving interviews, observations, and document analysis, this research outlines the efforts of the madrasah in improving the quality of IPS education by utilizing technology. The results provide a deep insight into the learning strategies used, digital literacy enhancement, and the role of educators' human resources. In this context, madrasahs need to pay attention to innovative learning models, digital literacy, and the improvement of human resource quality as a response to the era of digital disruption. The implications of this research underscore the importance of adapting IPS education to the changing times

Abstract

This research investigates the form of stimulus given by teachers to students in learning Indonesian in Class V MI Nurul Yaqin Surabaya. The method in this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The findings show that even though teachers have implemented a variety of learning methods and provided motivational support to students, there are still deficiencies in learning interactivity. Research also highlights the role of evaluating learning outcomes, administering punishments and rewards in influencing student motivation. Stimulation results include perceptual responses, emotions, and changes in student behavior. Internal and external factors, such as low interest in learning and a learning environment that is not conducive, become obstacles in providing effective stimulus. Special attention is needed from teachers to correct these deficiencies and create a supportive learning environment for students. In this way, learning Indonesian at MI Nurul Yaqin Surabaya can be more effective and meaningful for student development

Abstract

This study aims to understand how religious moderation is actualized in the social life of multiethnic communities in Surabaya City, the role of government and religious leaders in maintaining harmony between religious communities, and the influence of digitalization and social media on people's religious perspectives. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore people's experiences and meanings of religious moderation practices in everyday life. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, with informants selected purposively and developed through snowball sampling. Data analysis was carried out interactively using the Miles-Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results show that religious moderation in Surabaya's multiethnic community grows contextually and practically, but requires strengthening digital literacy and ongoing collaboration between the government, religious leaders, and the community to remain relevant and adaptive amidst social and digital dynamics

Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut guru untuk mampu mengembangkan pembelajaran yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada literasi baru. Namun, sebagian guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah masih menerapkan pola pembelajaran konvensional sehingga diperlukan pendampingan yang sistematis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan guru MI Al Amin Sidoarjo dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran inovatif berorientasi keterampilan abad 21. Program dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui tahapan discovery, dream, design, define, dan destiny. Setiap tahapan diimplementasikan melalui pelatihan, lokakarya, micro teaching, observasi, dan refleksi kolaboratif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep pembelajaran abad 21, kemampuan merancang dan menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis 4C, serta bertambahnya kepercayaan diri guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman ke dalam inovasi pembelajaran. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ABCD efektif menumbuhkan perubahan dari dalam komunitas guru dan mendorong terbentuknya komunitas belajar berkelanjutan.
