Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of parents’ income and parents’ educational level on students’ learning interest at STKIP PGRI Sukabumi. Learning interest is considered an important factor in supporting students’ academic success, and family socioeconomic background is assumed to play a significant role in shaping students’ motivation and attitudes toward learning. This research employed a quantitative research approach with a correlational design. The population of the study consisted of students at STKIP PGRI Sukabumi, from which 100 students were selected as respondents using a sampling technique appropriate to the research objectives. Three main variables were examined in this study, namely parents’ income, parents’ education level, and students’ learning interest. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that was developed based on relevant theoretical concepts. Prior to data analysis, the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the measurement. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of parents’ income and parents’ educational level on students’ learning interest. The results of the analysis indicate that parents’ income has a significant influence on students’ learning interest. In addition, parents’ educational level also shows a significant effect on students’ interest in learning. These findings suggest that students from families with higher income and higher parental education levels tend to have stronger learning interest. Therefore, it can be concluded that parents’ socioeconomic background plays an important role in influencing students’ learning interest. The results of this study are expected to provide useful insights for educational institutions and policymakers in developing strategies to enhance students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Pendidikan ekonomi memainkan peran krusial dalam membentuk pola pikir, keterampilan, dan karakter kewirausahaan pelajar sebagai calon civic entrepreneur. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana penerapan konsep ekonomi dalam pendidikan dapat menumbuhkan minat dan kemampuan wirausaha di kalangan pelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur sistematis dari berbagai sumber relevan mengenai hubungan antara pendidikan, ekonomi, dan kewirausahaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi materi kewirausahaan ke dalam kurikulum, pelatihan keterampilan bisnis berbasis praktik, dan dukungan ekosistem sekolah dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas, inovasi, dan kemandirian siswa. Pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai ekonomi dan pengelolaan sumber daya menjadi sangat penting untuk menciptakan peluang bisnis sejak dini. Integrasi literasi digital dan finansial semakin memperkuat kesiapan wirausaha pelajar di era ekonomi digital. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek, kolaborasi dengan dunia usaha, dan dukungan keluarga terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan jiwa wirausaha. Dengan demikian, pendidikan ekonomi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen pemberdayaan yang mempersiapkan pelajar untuk berkontribusi pada pembangunan ekonomi melalui kewirausahaan yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Background of the research, due to the phenomenon that occurs in SMA PGRI 1 Kota Sukabumi, because not yet optimal performance of teachers, which of course caused by several factors, among others is the Effect of Monitoring on Teacher Performance at SMA PGRI 1 Kota Sukabumi. While the focus of the problem in this research is how much influence of supervision on teacher performance in SMA PGRI 1 Kota Sukabumi, The purpose of the research is to be able to know how big Influence Supervision Against Teacher Performance agencies. One of the theoretical foundations in this research According to Siagian (1996: 26) the function of watching is one of the most important management functions that must be done by a leader in an effort to achieve organizational goals he leads. This research uses survey method and the type of research is quantitative descriptive, that is by distributing questionnaires to respondents. A sample of 21 is specified via Saturated Sampling or Census. The data analysis is done quantitatively by using regression statistic formula, either linear or multiple. Then the hypothesis test is done by t test and F test. The results showed that: Partially result of t test indicate that in variable X that Supervision have  strong  and  significant  influence  to  teacher performance (Y), because t arithmetic> t table. Simultaneously tested through Test F has a strong and significant influence on the dependent variable Y (Performance Teacher), because F arithmetic> F table. The variability of Variable Y is influenced by the diversity of variables X. It shows that Su- pervision is needed and always needed to improve Teacher Performance of SMA PGRI 1 Kota Sukabu- mi. From the results of the study can be concluded that the influence of supervision of teachers in SMA PGRI  1  Kota  Sukabumi  supervision  has  a  significant influence on the performance of teachers SMA PGRI 1 Kota Sukabumi, In other words, the higher the supervision given, the better the performance of teachers at SMA PGRI 1 Sukabumi City.
