Biodiesel merupakan sumber energi alternatif yang dapat menggantikan bahan bakar solar berbasis minyak bumi. Pada penelitian ini pembuatan biodiesel menggunakan bahan baku dari CPO Off Grade, dilakukan dengan radiasi gelombang mikro. Pemanasan dalam oven microwave memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dari pemanasan tradisional, karena panas dihasilkan secara internal sebagai akibat dari getaran molekul bahan yang dipanaskan oleh gelombang mikro. Faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi biodiesel adalah rasio molar umpan dan waktu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio mol umpan (1:6, 1:12) dan waktu (10, 20, 30, 40 dan 50 menit) yang digunakan terhadap kualitas dari biodiesel yang dihasilkan. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi analisis nilai rendemen, densitas, viskositas, bilangan asam, titik nyala dan kadar air. Rendemen biodiesel yang diperoleh memenuhi standar SNI, dimana rendemen, densitas, angka asam, kadar air dan titik nyala berturut-turut adalah 40.916%, 0.883 – 0.879 gr/cm3, 0.2805 – 0.561%, 0%, 163.5 – 201.2 °C.

Background: The incidence that becomes a health problem and becomes the highest number of accidents is traffic accidents. It is proven that almost 90% of victims died or were disabled as a result of this event. Drivers as first responders must have good first aid knowledge in accidents and motivation for accident victims to mitigate these losses. Objective: this study was to identify the relationship between knowledge about accident first aid and motivation to help online motorcycle taxi drivers in Manado City.Method: This research is a quantitative research, using a correlative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample used as many as 100 online drivers using accidental sampling. Relationship analysis using spearman rho test. Results: this study found a link between knowledge of first aid and motivation to help, being in the strength of a strong relationship.Conclusion:Researchers expect online motorcycle taxi drivers to be more active in seeking information about first aid in order to increase knowledge and recommend attending first aid training so as to increase motivation to help. Kasus penganiayaan Mario Dandy terhadap David Ozora menjadi sorotan publik. Pasalnya kasus tersebut menuai banyak kontroversi karena sang pelaku memiliki latar belakang dari keluarga yang terpandang. Penelitian ini akan fokus membahas tentang putusan hakim terkait kasus penganiayaan tersebut dengan metode analisis yuridis serta membahas dari perspektif sosiologi dan antropologi. Jika melihat hasil putusan akhir Mario Dandy, terdapat beberapa pasal yang telah dilanggar oleh Mario Dandy. Sebagaimana yang telah tertulis dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) Pasal 351 Tentang Penganiayaan hingga Pasal 355 Tentang Penganiayaan Berat. Dalam putusan akhir Mario Dandy, terdakwa tidak memiliki celah hukum untuk bebas karena tidak ada hal-hal yang dapat meringankan putusan terdakwa Mario. Dalam kasus tersebut jelas merupakan kasus penganiayaan berat karena berdampak pada fisik serta psikologis korban. Tidak hanya kerugian immateriil yang dirasakan oleh korban namun juga kerugian materil. Diketahui dana yang digunakan untuk pengobatan David Ozora mencapai 1,2 miliar. Berdasarkan putusan akhir sidang Mario Dandy, terdakwa dijatuhi pidana penjara selama 12 (dua belas) tahun. Dengan ancaman penjara maksimal tersebut, masyarakat dapat merasa puas karena latar belakang sosial ekonomi Mario Dandy tidak memengaruhi putusan hakim. Dalam jurnal ini akan dibahas mengenai faktor – faktor penyebab perilaku penganiayaan Mario Dandy yang dianalisis melalui perspektif sosiologi dan antropologi hukum.

The National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas) has been creating and developing the software and library automation program Inlislite since 2011. This study attempts to ascertain how librarians use the Inlislite system in the province of South Sumatra, as well as the challenges they face and the efforts they make. This study employed a descriptive qualitative methodology. The steps of observation, interviews, and documentation were used to gather data. According to the study's findings, Inlislite has been used extremely successfully for the collection material management system at the South Sumatra library service. Utilization of Inlislite (Integrated Library System), which comprises management of library resources, circulation services (borrowing and returning books), membership, and OPAC. This study addresses a critical gap in sports linguistics by exploring the cognitive semantic role of metonymy in digital soccer journalism, an area that remains underexamined despite its pervasive use in media discourse. Using a corpus-based cognitive semantic approach, this qualitative study examines the prevalence and patterns of metonymy in soccer news articles published on Goal.com. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 250 news articles collected from August 2021 to May 2024, providing a robust dataset for analysis. The findings reveal that "whole for part" metonymy dominates, where teams, leagues, or nations substitute for individual players or components, reinforcing collective identity and aligning with readers’ cognitive schemas. Metonymic collocations also exhibit consistent patterns, with renowned teams and leagues frequently serving as proxies for players and events, demonstrating a cognitive preference for associating collective entities with their constituents. These results highlight metonymy’s role in simplifying narratives, enhancing audience engagement, and shaping cultural representations in digital sports media. Beyond its linguistic significance, this study contributes to English Language Teaching (ELT) by demonstrating how metonymy-based corpus analysis fosters critical reading, discourse analysis, and media literacy. Sports journalism serves as an engaging pedagogical resource for teaching pragmatic competence and lexical awareness, helping learners decode implicit meanings and cognitive framing. By showcasing metonymy’s role in narrative efficiency and cognitive engagement, this study underscores its broader implications for media studies, cognitive linguistics, sports journalism, and ELT.

Desa Pulau Komang Sentajo merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Sentajo Raya, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, Provinsi Riau. Di desa ini telah dilakukan kegiatan budidaya ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) di kolam tanah, namun produksi ikan belum optimal dan belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Rendahnya produksi ikan disebabkan oleh tingginya kematian ikan akibat pengelolaan kolam yang kurang baik serta berkembangnya mikroorganisme patogen penyebab penyakit dan kematian ikan. Rendahnya produksi ikan juga karena pembudidaya ikan tidak mampu memberikan pakan buatan (pelet) secara kontinu sehingga ikan kurus dan pertumbuhannya relatif lambat / produksi rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan inovasi pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan untuk memotivasi masyarakat Desa Pulau Komang Sentajo melakukan budidaya ikan nila dengan teknik yang baik dan benar sehingga menjadi suatu wirausaha yang berkelanjutan. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, penyampaian materi dan penyuluhan tentang teknologi bioflok pada media budidaya dan pembuatan pakan ikan mandiri berupa pelet dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan lokal yang murah harganya tetapi berkualitas baik, pembuatan kolam percontohan, pembuatan pakan ikan mandiri, pendampingan dan pembinaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dengan hasil 30% menyatakan ‘Sangat Setuju’ dan 70% menyatakan ‘Setuju’. Hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa 20% peserta menyatakan ‘Sangat Setuju’ dan 80% menyatakan ‘Setuju’ bahwa mereka mampu melaksanakan kegiatan dengan baik dan antusias terhadap kegiatan.

Brand Switching is a consumer behavior in which individuals shift from one brand to another when purchasing products within the same category. This means that consumers who were previously loyal to a particular brand decide to try or switch to a competing brand. This study aims to analyze the influence of variety seeking and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on brand switching in Indonesia’s automotive industry, particularly marked by the shift from Japanese to Chinese brands. The phenomenon of brand switching has become increasingly common in the digital era, driven by consumers’ desire for variety and information obtained through online reviews. Variety seeking, based on the Optimal Stimulation Level (OSL) theory and novelty seeking, reflects the consumer's desire for new experiences. Meanwhile, eWOM, grounded in social proof and information adoption theories, shapes perceptions through online reviews. This quantitative study utilized a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who had switched car brands. Data were collected using a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The data analysis employed Multiple Linear Regression and was processed using SPSS version 24. The hypothesis testing revealed that variety seeking has a significant negative effect, eWOM has a significant positive effect, and both variables simultaneously have a significant positive effect on brand switching. Educated Indonesian consumers tend to consider value for money, innovation, and design when making brand-switching decisions. Companies need to leverage eWOM, enhance innovation, and understand consumer preferences to maintain market position and customer loyalty..

The management of APBDes funds signifies that all planning, which is the result of an agreement between the village government and the village consultative body, encompasses expenditures stipulated for the administration of village governance for one year. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of village government transparency and accountability on the management of the village revenue and expenditure budget (APBDes) in Gampong Cot Laot, Peudada Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency. To obtain optimal results, the data scope was derived from respondent answers through questionnaire questions distributed to 40 respondents, namely the community of Cot Laot Village, Peudada Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The research results, both partially and simultaneously, indicate that village government transparency and accountability have a positive and significant influence on the management of APBDes in Cot Laot Village, Peudada Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency.

The prevalence of unsafe food coloring in snacks consumed by elementary school children remains a public health concern, particularly in urban and rural school environments. Despite ongoing efforts, studies have inadequately addressed the role of educational interventions in improving children’s awareness regarding the consumption of harmful food additives. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational program in enhancing knowledge about food coloring among elementary students. A community-based educational intervention was conducted at Elementary School of Inpres Cilallang, Makassar, targeting fifth-grade students. The method employed was direct health education using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure knowledge improvement. Findings revealed a significant increase in students’ understanding of harmful food colorants in street food and the ability to identify healthier snack options post-intervention. The program demonstrates the feasibility and impact of simple, targeted health education in promoting food safety awareness among school-aged children. These results highlight the importance of integrating such interventions into public health strategies, especially in urban-rural transitional zones where food safety monitoring may be limited.
