Abstract

This study aims to analyze student responses, validity and effectiveness of the development of interactive learning media in the form of animated videos assisted by Filmora application in learning fractions of grade V elementary school students. This research uses the learning device development model suggested by S.Thiagarajan, namely the 4d model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The instruments used in this research are validation questionnaire, needs and test sheets. From the results of student responses, it is known that students really like and are interested in interactive learning media in the form of animated videos aided by the Filmora application that researchers develop, it can be seen from the student response which shows an average of 83.5% with the criteria "very good. Furthermore, the validity and effectiveness of the product were carried out, involving learning practitioners, material experts, interactive media and students to conduct pretests and posttests. The result of the validity is that the media is very valid with a validity percentage of 87.6% and a category of "very valid" and only requires minor revisions. Finally, the effectiveness test was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the product developed by conducting pretests and postests, and the result was that interactive learning media in the form of animated videos assisted by the Filmora application in learning fractions of grade V elementary school students were effective in improving student learning outcomes, it was seen from the increase in student scores before and after using interactive learning media.

Abstract

Several problems were found at SDN 102052 Bagan Kuala, including that at the school only normal reading books were available, teachers only used teacher books and student books, lack of use and utilization of technology in the learning process, lack of students' understanding of Banjar culture and culture, and low students' cultural literacy level, especially Banjar culture. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the suitability of the book, developing the book to find out students' cultural literacy and students' responses after using the Banjar Culture Based Children's Storybook. The research method used is the development method with the EDDIE model which consists of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The sample for this research was 30 class V students at SDN 102052 Bagan Kuala. There are 4 questionnaires used, namely: media validation questionnaire, material validation questionnaire, learning questionnaire and student response questionnaire. So it can be concluded that the Banjar Culture Based Children's Story Book, after the revision and validation process, states that the average percentage of eligibility for the Banjar Culture Based Children's Story Book is 85% in the "Very Eligible" category. Based on the suitability of the media from input from media experts, material experts and learning experts, namely class V teachers, the development of a Banjar Culture Based Children's Storybook developed by researchers was declared Very Suitable for use as teaching material in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a big book learning media based on local folklore with the help of the Canva application, and to evaluate student responses and its feasibility. This big book is based on local legends, uses Indonesian, and presents relevant images to attract students' interest in learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, but only three stages are applied: Analysis, Design, and Development. At the analysis stage, pre-research was conducted at the UPTD SPF SDN Cibubukan, where interviews with grade I teachers revealed that learning Indonesian was less interesting for students. At the design stage, the researcher designed a big book using Canva, and at the development stage, the big book media was validated by material experts, media experts, and teachers. The validation results showed a feasibility score of 95% from material experts, 94% from media experts, and 95% from teachers, all of whom concluded that this media was very suitable for use in learning. The big book media developed can be applied as an initial step in the teaching and learning process, indicating that this folklore-based big book is very suitable for use in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Minyak balur (Minyak urut) tersebut diolah secara tradisional dan merupakan warisan turun temurun dari keluarga dengan menggunakan beragam tumbuhan obat atau tanaman herbal. Tanaman atau tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai olahan minyak urut tersebut, diantaranya: Temu lawak, Temu kunci, Temu manga, Daun salam segar, Daun sirsak, Daun sambiloto, Daun sirih, Bunga lawang, Bunga Kamboja, Bunga kenanga, Kencur, Lempuyang, Cengkeh, Adas manis, Kemiri, dan Ketumbar. Minyak urut tradisional dengan menggunakan tanaman herbal tersebut memiliki banyak manfaat seperti untuk pijat, urut, patah tulang, pegal-pegal, masuk angin dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang komposisi zat yang terkandung dalam minyak balur tradisional hasil olahan yang berfungsi sebagai obat tradisional, serta tentang jenis dan sistem pengemasan yang akan digunakan yang lebih bernilai ekonomis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara langsung di tempat posko KKN yang berlokasi di Desa Tanjung Gusti Dusun III Kecamatan Galang Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Kegiatan diawali dengan perajangan bahan-bahan yang sudah disediakan lalu, dicuci bersih seluruh bahan. Selanjutnya seluruh bahan yang sudah bersih dimasukkan dalam minyak kelapa yang sudah panas diatas kuali terus dimasak sampai seluruh bahan tampak mengering. Setelah dirasa sudah masak dilakukan pengemasan suatu produk kemasan botol plastik (putih dan bening) seukuran 100ml, mengapa harus menggunakan botol plastik sesuai kandungan zat yang ada, sehingga dapat ditentukan kemasan yang tepat untuk minyak balur dari hasil pengolahan yang bernilai ekonomis.

Abstract

The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) Research and Development is one of the research methods applied to produce a product as well as test its validity so that it is suitable for use The ADDIE model consists of five steps in its implementation, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation The subjects in this study are grade IV students of SD Negeri 104281 Nogo rejo for the 2024 school year, Material Experts, Media Experts and Learning Experts Meanwhile, the object of this study is Javanese culture-based interactive learning media in the Indonesian subject of grade IV elementary school students. The product developed in this study is an interactive learning media based on Javanese culture. The existence of Javanese culture-based interactive learning media can make learning more effective, more interesting, and stimulate students' interest. Based on the data from the results of the media feasibility evaluation from the input of material expert reviewers with a percentage appropriateness of 84%, media expert reviewers with a percentage appropriateness of 100%, grade IV teacher responses with a percentage appropriateness of 85,3%, and student responses with a percentage appropriateness of 85,5%, the development of Javanese culture-based interactive learning media in Indonesian lessons developed was stated as "Very Feasible" to be used as a learning medium in grade IV of elementary school. Based on the discussion above, it can be concluded that the Javanese culture-based interactive learning media product in the Indonesian language lesson developed by the researcher was declared Very Feasible and there was no revision by expert reviewers and the Javanese culture-based interactive learning media was very feasible to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VI di UPT SDN 064037 Medan Tembung melalui penerapan pendekatan Experiential Learning. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diamati selama pembelajaran sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan menganalisis dan menerapkan konsep. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus yang masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diberikan kepada 26 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 71,5 pada tahap pratindakan menjadi 78,2 pada Siklus 1 dan 83,5 pada Siklus 2. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Experiential Learning efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman dalam pendidikan sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how student learning activity is influenced by the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the Indonesian language subject in grade IV at SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang, and to identify the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the TGT model in the Indonesian language learning process in grade IV at the same school. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The participants in this study are the sources of information or data required for the research, namely the teacher and the grade IV students of SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang. The results of the research conducted in grade IV at SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang indicate that student learning activity improves during the learning process when using the Teams Games Tournament model. This is evidenced by the students’ enjoyment, attention to the learning process, interest, and active participation in the learning process. The enthusiasm and motivation of students can be observed throughout the lesson. The challenges faced by the teacher are not too significant, such as students feeling that the group division made by the teacher is unfair. However, the teacher successfully addresses these challenges

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) develop learning media in the form of a digital fable story book based on the local wisdom of North Sumatra, and (2) test the feasibility of the media. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), However, this study is limited to the Develop stage in accordance with level 1 R&D. The resulting product is a digital fable story book based on the Local Wisdom of North Sumatra. This media is designed using the Canva and FlipBuilder applications, this media contains three fable stories by linking the local wisdom of North Sumatra and the characteristics of the Malay, Javanese, and Karo tribes and is equipped with illustrations, semi-motion animations, and audio. The subjects in this study were media expert validators, material experts, language experts, and learning experts. The validation results showed the following levels of feasibility: media expert validation with a score of 98% (very feasible), material expert validation with a score of 97% (very feasible), language expert validation with a score of 94% (very feasible). validation of learning experts (class teachers) is 98% (very feasible). From the results obtained an average feasibility of 96.75% included in the category of "very feasible". The results of the study indicate that the digital fable story book based on local wisdom of North Sumatra is declared very feasible as an innovative media in learning Indonesian narrative texts for class III while introducing local cultural values.

Abstract

This research is research that aims to determine the relationship between family communication and student self-management in class IX of SMP Negeri 25 Medan. The sample in this study was 40 students in class IX of SMP Negeri 25 Medan. The instrument used by researchers was a questionnaire to collect family communication and self-management data which was previously tested to determine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. Of the 30 questionnaire items distributed, there were 28 valid questionnaire items and 2 invalid items. The correlation test technique uses the product moment correlation formula. From the calculation results, the correlation coefficient between family management (x) and self-management (Y) is 0.498. According to the interpretation of the product moment correlation index, this figure shows a strong or high relationship. The hypothesis testing technique used is the t test formula. The results of the hypothesis test stated that there was a significant relationship between family communication and self-management in class IX students of SMP Negeri 25 Medan, at a significance level of 5% (t count > t table: 7.655 > 0.361). Researchers suggest that guidance and counseling teachers should be more varied and tailored to students' needs and the goals they want to achieve so that they can influence family communication on the success of students' self-management.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the PjBL model in the era of independent learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course. The PjBL model used focuses on product creation and involves students directly in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This research was carried out in the even semester of FY 2022-2023. The subjects in this research were 24 semester 6-V students of PGSD UMN Al Washliyah who were taking the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires and student project assignments. The research results show that 91.6 % of the PjBL models used by lecturers during the teaching and learning process have succeeded in making students active, creative and innovative in understanding the material and producing products. This can also be seen from the results of the learning products of the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course, namely that students were able to produce an Anthology of Children's Stories which can be used as a medium or learning resource for Indonesian language subjects in elementary schools.
