Abstract

Burns are tissue loss caused by contact with heat sources. Burns will not only cause skin damage, but also affect the entire body system. Bajakah kalalawit contains polyphenolic compounds. This research aims to design a gel preparation formulation that is effective in the healing process of burn wounds in white mice. The preparation was also tested for its physicochemical characteristics including organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, spreadability and stickiness test and irritation test. The results showed that all formulas were homogeneous and no organoleptic changes occurred after 14 days. The pH range of Bajakah gel is 6.16 – 7.46 which meets the skin's pH requirements. The diameter range of spreading power is between 5-7 cm. The adhesion power of formulas 2 and 3 meets the requirements (<4 seconds). The four formulas did not show irritation in the irritation test. The conclusion of this research is that Bajakah kalalawite extract gel with the composition of Formulas 2 and 3 meets the requirements for physical quality characteristic tests including organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, spreadability, adhesive power and irritation test. The diameter of the burn wound showed that there was a significant difference in treatment compared to the negative control group (p<5%).

Abstract

Terong ungu (Solanum melongena L.) merupakan salah satu produk tanaman hortikultura yang keberadaannya sudah menjadi makanan konsumsi masyarakat di Indonesia. Namun sering kali terong hanya diolah menjadi sebuah masakan atau sayuran. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini melakukan sebuah inovasi pangan yaitu membuat sebuah makanan dodol yang berbahan dasar terong ungu. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlangsung di kelompok tani Kelurahan Habaring Hurung, Kecamatan Bukit Batu, Kota Palangka Raya, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Program kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui 4 tahap kegiatan, diantaranya survey lokasi, pengumpulan bahan baku, pelatihan pembuatan dodol terong, dan indikator keberhasilan. Indikator keberhasilan di lakukan dengan metode pre-test dan post-test yang diisi oleh peserta kegiatan dalam bentuk kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu menambah wawasan dan kemampuan tentang bagaimana membuat dodol dengan bahan dasar terong ungu, bahkan para warga dapat mengimplementasikan dan menerapkannya inovasi pangan ini secara mandiri. Hal tersebut dapat kita lihat dari hasil kuisioner melalui pre-test dan post-test yang telah diisi oleh peserta kegiatan, dimana rata-rata peserta sebelum mengikuti kegiatan ini menjawab kurang mengetahui tentang teknik pengelolaan sanitasi lingkungan dengan presentase pemahaman pada saat pre-test hanya sebesar 16%. Namun melalui informasi atau konten materi yang telah disampaikan, masyarakat menjadi mengerti dan memahaminya, terlihat pada saat post-test Tingkat pemahaman sebesar 92%..

Abstract

Abstrak. Lingkungan hidup yang baik dan sehat sangat penting untuk kelangsungan hidup warga masyarakat. Sanitasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menjaga lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat dengan mengawasi faktor lingkungan hidup. Kegiatan sosialisasi teknik pengelolaan sanitasi lingkungan bagi warga masyarakat di Kelurahan Habaring Hurung telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kerjasama dengan mitra yaitu kelompok warga masyarakat, kepala kelurahan dan staf Kelurahan Habaring Hurung, Kecamatan Bukit Batu, Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dalam empat tahapan kegiatan, yaitu tahap survey lokasi, pengumpulan materi kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengelolaan sanitasi lingkungan dan diakhiri dengan indikator keberhasilan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat menambah wawasan dan kemampuan tentang bagaimana melakukan teknik pengelolaan sanitasi lingkungan. Hal tersebut dapat kita lihat dari hasil kuisioner melalui pre-test dan post-test yang telah diisi oleh peserta kegiatan, dimana rata-rata peserta sebelum mengikuti kegiatan ini menjawab kurang mengetahui tentang teknik pengelolaan sanitasi lingkungan. A good and healthy environment is very important for the survival of the community. Sanitation is one of the efforts to maintain the environment and public health by monitoring environmental factors. The socialization activity of environmental sanitation management techniques for residents in Habaring Hurung Village has been carried out well. This activity was carried out through collaboration with partners, namely community groups, village heads and staff of Habaring Hurung Village, Bukit Batu District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan. This activity took place in four stages of activity, namely the location survey stage, collection of activity materials, implementation of environmental sanitation management activities and ending with success indicators. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this community service activity can increase insight and ability on how to carry out environmental sanitation management techniques. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire through the pre-test and post-test that have been filled out by the participants of the activity, where the average participant before participating in this activity answered that they did not know much about environmental sanitation management techniques. However, through the information or content of the material that has been delivered, the community understands and comprehends it.

Abstract

ADC (Antibody Drug Conjugation) is a complex molecule consisting of antibodies designed as a targeted therapy to treat disease, or a biologically active cytotoxic drug. Docking simulations of the pertuzumab antibody with the BCN OH ligand were carried out to see the interactions and stable conjugates between the antibody and the ligand as a form of ADC development using three software, consisting of Discovery Studio, pymol and pyrex. The pymol application is used for the preparation of pertuzumab, namely removing residues and water and is used to combine the ligand with the antibody, while the use of Pyrex Autodocx Vina is to determine the conformation of the ligand in binding with the macromolecule. Discovery studio is used to realize the bond between the linker and antibody and see the interactions that occur. This research aims to determine the interaction of pertuzumab with BCN OH as a starting point for selecting a suitable ligand for the ADC product so that later the ADC will be more stable until the target of the simulations carried out is obtained by the results of interactions that occur between pertuzumab and the BCN OH molecule. After being realized in two dimensions, it can be seen that there are amino acid compounds that bind to BCN OH on side B:103, there is lysine, side B:40 proline, side B:38 Arginine, side B:85 Threonine, and on side B:415 there is Air molecules. In the docking process, the presence of lysine bonds is an important factor in looking at the interaction of compounds with their macromolecules, considering that lysine is one of the residues that will bind to the functional groups on the linker to produce ADC products.
