Abstract

Kurikulum memiliki kedudukan yang srategis dan fundamental dalam menunjang kemajuan pendidikan suatu negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan kurikulum yang telah diterapkan di Indonesia dalam perspektif sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Hasil pengumpulan data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perjalanan sejarah kurikulum yang pernah berlaku di Indonesia dalam perspektif studi komparatif.Tinjauan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi penggunaan kurikulum pada Lembaga Pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan model pembelajaran berbasis teks di SMP/Mts Alkairaat Ambon. Subjek penelitian adalah Guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP/Mts Alkairaat Ambon yang berjumlah 5 orang guru. Tipe penelitian adalah penelitian deskritif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pre-test and post-test design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini antara lain; (1) instrumen tes, dalam hal ini untuk mengukur penguasaan pedagogik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. (2) angket respon guru, untuk melihat respon guru terhadap perlakuan yang digunakan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendeskripsikan data apa adanya dalam bentuk persentase dan menjelaskan data atau kejadian dengan kalimat-kalimat penjelasan secara kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan antara lain: analisis deskriptif kualitatif meliputi: hasil tes penguasaan pedagogik dan respon guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa :1) Penguasaan pedagogik sebanyak 80% guru mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang ketika diberikan perlakuan, dan 20% guru mengalami peningkatan penguasaan pedagogik kategori tinggi. 2) Rata-rata nilai presentase ketercapaian respon guru terhadap pelatihan pedagogik melalui pemanfaatan pembelajaran berbasis teks sebesar 78.4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa kompetensi pedagogik mengalami peningkatan melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan model pembelajaran berbasis teks di SMP/Mts Alkairaat Ambon.

Abstract

Menulis sebagai keterampilan berbahasa tidak terlepas dari seluruh proses belajar di sekolah, dan termasuk aktivitas yang tidak mudah untuk dilakukan oleh siswa. Masih banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan untuk menemukan ide sehingga menjadi ragu untuk mulai menulis, termasuk menulis teks berita pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Kairatu. PkM ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan menulis teks berita melalui media canva agar para siswa menjadi berani dan mudah untuk menuangkan gagasan dalam menulis yang akan memberi dampak pada peningkatan kemampuan mereka untuk menulis teks berita. Pelatihan diawali dengan pemberian materi tentang aplikasi canva, dan bagaimana menulis teks berita melalui aplikasi canva. Para siswa yang memiliki gawai dan paket internet, serta fasilitas internet melalui hotspot yang diberikan oleh tim PkM, melaksanakan praktik menulis teks berita dengan bimbingan tim. Para siswa diminta kesediaannya untuk menulis teks berita tentang peristiwa apapun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa para siswa berusaha belajar memahami template yang ada pada canva, dan sangat antusias untuk memulai menulis teks berita dengan mengacu pada template yang tersedia. Para sisiwa yang dilatih oleh tim ini, kemudian bersama tim mengarahkan teman-teman yang lain untuk menulis teks berita melalui media canva, sehingga semua siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan mendapat peluang yang sama untuk berlatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks berita.

Abstract

Improved ability to listen to the news using learning models talking stick type cooperative class VII-7 SMP Negeri 7 Ambon. Thesis. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Department of Language and Arts, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pattimura University. Classroom action research is Classroom action research conducted in class with the aim of improving and enhancing the quality of learning practices. This study aims to describe Improved ability to listen to the news using learning models talking stick type cooperative class VII-7 SMP Negeri 7 Ambon. This research includes the type of classroom action research. The techniques used in data collection, questionnaire interviews. The instruments used were observation sheets, interviews, documentation questionnaires. The subjects of this study were Class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Ambon with a total of 207 students however, the researcher only took one class as a source of research, namely class VII-7 which consisted of 22 students. The results of research analysis, data analysis can be concluded that the increase in the ability to listen to the news using a learning model cooperative talking stick type can improve quite well, these is in accordance with the data obtained in the first cycle of 60, 18% and can be increased in the second cycle of 80,63% which is good.

Abstract

The use of audio-visual learning media is used to see the influence of learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Ambon in writing descripty texts. This research was conducted by quantitative research method descripty. The research process is obtained through data collection techniques which include observation, interviews, learning processes, questionnaires and documentation. Observation is used by researchers to observe the learning process carried out by subject teachers and grade VII students. Interview is a process of taking data from teachers to determine the level of student understanding. The learning process is an advanced stage carried out by researchers to use audio-visual learning media in writing description text materials. Questionnaire is one of the tools used to find out students' interest in learning the material of writing description texts using audio-visual learning media. Docuumentation is the process of taking photos to be used as research data. The analysis of the data obtained in this study is the influence of learning outcomes obtained from grade VII students in learning the material for writing description texts. This is what makes this study has provided answers for the use of audio-visual learning media for the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Ambon.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the extemporaneous speaking method on the public speaking abilities of ninth-grade students at SMP LKMD Tawiri, Teluk Ambon District. Using a mixed-methods descriptive quantitative design, the research involved 23 ninth-grade students as participants. Data collection employed questionnaires using the Guttman Scale and performance assessments using structured rubrics with nine evaluation criteria. The study utilized the Product Moment Correlation formula to analyze the relationship between the extemporaneous method implementation and students' public speaking competencies. Results revealed a significant improvement in students' public speaking abilities, with mean scores increasing from 70 (traditional methods) to 78 (extemporaneous method). The correlation coefficient of 1.09 indicated a very strong positive relationship, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that the extemporaneous method significantly influences public speaking proficiency. The findings suggest that structured extemporaneous speaking instruction can effectively enhance students' oral communication skills in Indonesian secondary education contexts.

Abstract

Students possessing rapid reading skills but deficient in comprehension speed will undoubtedly experience a decline in reading efficacy. The reading speed of students is significantly influenced by their interest in the content to be comprehended. This research aims to enhance the speed reading proficiency of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 81 Maluku Tengah through the application of the scanning approach. This study constitutes classroom action research. The employed data collection methods include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Researchers reached the following conclusions, among others: The implementation of the scanning methodology for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 81 Maluku Tengah rendered studying more engaging and entertaining, while also facilitating the development of their extensive and methodical reading skills. The scanning technique fostered an engaging environment, enabling each student to develop knowledge and experience in quick reading skills. Prior to the implementation of this scanning technique, the average reading speed of 7th-grade pupils at SMP Negeri 81 Maluku Tengah was 35. Following the implementation of this technique in Cycle I, the average score increased to 46, reflecting a 10.8% rise; nevertheless, further improvement is anticipated in Cycle II. The execution of Cycle I had numerous deficiencies, including: 1) pupils continued to struggle with time management, reading velocity, and comprehension proficiency. Only seven pupils achieved the Minimum Competency Criteria (MCC). The deficiencies were rectified in Cycle II. Cycle II results indicated an enhancement in students' reading speed, with a class average score of 75 and 17 pupils achieving the MCC norm. In conclusion, the implementation of rapid reading skills using the scanning technique is highly successful in enhancing students' speaking abilities, particularly their rapid reading skills.
