Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah kurangnya media atau alat latihan. Salain itu banyaknya atlet binaan yang aktif mengikuti latihan sehingga sangat tergantung dengan peran pelatih dalam memberikan latihan. Banyaknya jumlah atlet yang aktif berlatih menjadikan proses latlihan kurang efektif karena sepenuhnya tergantung dari pelatih. Dengan banyaknya atlet yang berlatih, perlu adanya sarana dan prasarana penunjang latihan sehingga proses latihan dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Pada kegiatan pengabdian saat ini, tim pengabdian mengembangkan alat latihan yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu proses pelatih maupun atlet dalam berlatih. Dalam proses pembuatannya, alat ini menggunakan bahan baku berbasis kearifan local yang mudah ditemui disekitar tempat latihan mitra di Kota Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu sosialisasi kepada mitra dan praktik latihan menggunakan alat latihan double drop ball. Dari hasil pengabdian ini dihasilkan alat latihan groundstroke yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih forehand dan backhand dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata (mean) pada tes awal dan tes akhir kelompok forehand yaitu 14,88 dan 17,50. Nilai rata-rata (mean) pada tes awal dan tes akhir kelompok backhand yaitu 14,69 dan 15,38 menunjukan peningkatan nilai mean. Respon keterterimaan mitra terhadap kebermanfaatan program pengabdian yaitu sebanyak 8 sampel atau 67 % menyatakan sangat baik. Terdapat sebanyak 4 sampel atau 33 % yang menyatakan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of free time by seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Kelumpang Tengah and its impact on them. The method used was a survey method used with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 1 Kelumpang Tengah which involved 31 students of class VII as samples. The results showed that class management (empty hours) showed 100% reported that they often experienced empty hours, 68% received instructions, 32% reported often receiving instructions, student involvement in empty hours, namely most students 65% often do homework, 61% play social media on mobile phones, 55% play outside the classroom. While the impact of empty hours most students 65% often feel bored, with 71% of students often feel satisfied during empty hours, with 68% of students only sometimes motivated. Students' activities during empty hours are mostly filled with non-academic activities such as sleeping, playing games and social media, and playing outside the classroom, while academic activities such as reading textbooks are rarely done. The impact of free time varies; most students feel bored, but there are also those who feel satisfied with the free time.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology, several new sports branches have emerged that utilize the latest model, namely electronic media which is often called E-Sport. Then there are many students of SMK Negeri 1 Pugaan who play online games. The purpose of this study was to determine how students' achievement interests are in E-Sport Mobile Legends Bang-Bang Division at SMK Negeri 1 Pugaan. Quantitative descriptive research using survey methods. The research variables are students' achievement interests using the population of SMK Negeri 1 Pugaan. A sample of 41 students using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection using observation, documentation and questionnaires. With instruments in the form of questionnaires. Descriptive statistical data analysis percentage as a data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the interest in e-sport sports achievements at SMK Negeri 1 Pugaan, Tabalong Regency in internal factors (interest, needs, willingness, attention, activities, hobbies/recreation) affects the high interest of students by producing the largest value of 70.73% in the attention sub-indicator. Meanwhile, in external factors (environment/social, facilities) the results showed that 60.97% influenced the high interest of students in the facilities sub-indicator, in this case influencing the interest in e-sports achievements at Pugaan 1 State Vocational School, Tabalong Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers in the character development of junior high school students in Martapura District. The background of this research is the high levels of bullying and the decline in morals among the youth, indicating that schools must play an active role in instilling character values. This research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative method with total sampling techniques. The samples in this study were twelve PJOK teachers from six junior high schools in Martapura District. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale that encompassed motivation, role modeling, and inspiration. According to the research findings, the majority of teachers play a significant role in building students' character.  According to the research findings, most teachers have a significant role in building students' character. The majority of teachers are categorized as always (58%), and (42%) are in the never category. The conclusion of this research is that physical education teachers have a significant role in building students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of students of the Physical Education Study Program, Class of 2021, Lambung Mangkurat University, regarding the concept of physical literacy and its five main indicators, namely motivation, self-confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and responsibility. Quantitative descriptive method The population studied were students of the 2021 intake of the Physical Education Study Program, Lambung Mangkurat University. The sample in this study was 108 Physical Education students from the 2021 intake of Lambung Mangkurat University. Questionnaire instruments with data analysis techniques using percentage formulas are often applied to understand the proportion or distribution of data based on certain categories. The motivation indicator is very good with a percentage of 51.02%, the self-confidence indicator is good with a percentage of 50.93%, the physical competence indicator is good with a percentage of 53.52%, the knowledge is good with a percentage of 60.00%, and the responsibility is good with a percentage of 55.29%. The conclusion of this study is that the results are good with a percentage of  53,05%.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of using audiovisual media in the form of learning video on students' understanding of short-distance running material in Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Banjarbaru. This study employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 33 students as the sample selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instruments consisted of tests (pretest and posttest), observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using normality tests, t-tests, and descriptive statistical analysis with the assistance of SPSS. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the students' average scores from 48.03 to 71.59, with an N-Gain value of 46% (moderate category). This improvement covers four indicators of understanding: (1) comprehension of basic short-distance running techniques, (2) physical benefits of short-distance running activities, (3) the role of leg muscle strength in enhancing running performance, and (4) training programs to improve students’ running performance. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant influence of using learning video on improving students’ understanding. Therefore, learning video are recommended as an effective alternative medium to enhance the quality of physical education learning, particularly in short-distance running material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the usefulness of chromebooks as a learning support for fitness activities for health reviewed from the responses of teachers and students. The method used was quantitative descriptive with the population of class VIII of SMPN 1 Hulu Sungai Tengah and PJOK teachers, a sample of class VIII E of 25 students and 1 teacher. The research instruments included teacher observation, student questionnaires, and student question tests. The results of the analysis showed that the use of Chromebooks gave positive results, as seen from the observation of students' attitudes (activeness, interest, seriousness) that were very high, as well as effective and efficient indicators that were also very high, indicating that students were able to accept and respond to learning fitness activities for health quickly. The response to the students' questionnaire showed 54% of the high category, and the average test score increased from 75.6 to 88.4 (an increase of 16.93%). From the results of the data, it can be concluded that the use of chromebooks as a learning support is very helpful in the fitness learning process for health.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan gaya mengajar inklusi terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar servis backhand bulutangkis pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 9 Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 28 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan servis backhand bulu tangkis pada pretest dan posttest. Siswa menerima instruksi melalui gaya mengajar inklusi selama empat pertemuan, yang memungkinkan mereka memilih tingkat kesulitan latihan sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan skor pretest rata-rata 6,29 dengan persentase 52,42% meningkat menjadi 9,39 dengan persentase 78,25% . Dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 49,29% dari kondisi awal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya mengajar inklusi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan motorik dasar, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan jasmani. Pendekatan ini direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara lebih luas dalam pembelajaran olahraga di sekolah karena memberikan fleksibilitas, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif semua siswa tanpa memandang tingkat kemampuannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of local wisdom-based Physical Education learning through traditional games in Elementary Schools in three sub-districts in Balangan Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through structured observations in six accredited elementary schools selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that traditional games Baasinan and Balogo were the types most widely used in learning. These games support the development of students' motor skills such as coordination, agility, strength, and balance. The integration of traditional games in core learning has been shown to increase students' motivation, participation, and understanding of the concept of movement. Despite the limited number of teachers and high workload, teachers are still able to carry out learning systematically, including in the evaluation aspect.
