Abstract

Insecurity is a situation where a person has feelings of discomfort, this is felt bye individuals who lack self confidence, are anxious, pessimitics, depressed and feel like they are always wrong. The purpose of the research is to find out how much insecurity exists in teenagers. This research method uses quantitative methods with a directive counseling approach. Based on research results, this feeling of insecurity is experienced by many teenagers aged 11-21 years and this insecurity is very dominant among women because they have a higher level of sensitivity to what is around them and they also like to compare the contents of themselves. with the achievements of other individuals, that's why they often don't feel enough about themselves. Therefore, a mindset as well as support and the surrounding environment are also really needed here so that feelings of insecurity can be reduced and eventually disappear and teenagers can freely believe in what is in themselves.

Abstract

Dissociative disorders are conditions characterized by partial or complete loss of past memories, consciousness that causes changes in identity, and control over body movements. There are four types of dissociative disorders: dissociative amnesia, dissociative fogginess, dissociative identity disorder, and depersonalization disorder. Assessment methods that can be carried out include observation, interviews and psychological tests. Psychoanalytic therapy, psychotherapy, cognitive therapy, family therapy, and creative therapy were identified as effective intervention methods. The aim of this research is to understand theory and identify effective intervention methods in treating dissociative disorders. The research method used is a literature study method by looking for references relevant to the case or problem. One of the cases discussed was a civil servant in Pringsewu, Lampung, who experienced dissociative fugue disorder and was missing for 20 days. Appropriate treatment can help sufferers overcome this disorder and integrate their personality.

Abstract

Bullying is a behavior that is carried out verbally, physically or psychologically against a person or group of people. This bullying often happens anywhere and at any time. The aim is to overcome the impact that arises from bullying behavior, as well as how much influence bullying behavior has on self-confidence, which will also determine the role of counselors in handling bullying cases. To determine the counseling approach given to victims of bullying. This research used 20 SMP X students aged 12-15 years as subjects. The sampling technique is random sampling. The data collection method used was a questionnaire with a Self-Confidence Scale and a Bullying Scale. The overall results show that there is no significant difference between bullying behavior and self-confidence of SMP X students, but most of the filling is done by female students. This can be considered a special concern because female students will be more sensitive regarding feelings. The results of the data analysis show the moderate category which of course still requires prevention to prevent bullying behavior which can later reduce the level of self-confidence in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelusuri faktor bunuh diri pada remaja dengan tujuan mengintegrasikan psikologis, keluarga, dan sosial. Metode kajian literatur enam jurnal terkait risiko bunuh diri pada usia remaja. Hasil menunjukkan depresi, kecemasan, stres saling memperkuat sehingga remaja kehilangan harapan dan menganggap bunuh diri pelarian; ketidakhadiran figur ayah, disharmoni keluarga, kerentanan kepribadian, isolasi sosial memperdalam kesepian dan menurunkan harga diri, meningkatkan kecanduan internet dan risiko; rendahnya harga diri berkorelasi dengan intensitas pikiran mengakhiri hidup, sedangkan resiliensi berfungsi sebagai pelindung yang harus diperkuat melalui dukungan sosial, kecerdasan emosional, dan koping adaptif. Simpulan menekankan pendekatan holistik untuk merancang intervensi pencegahan efektif dan empatik.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effect of employing cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) counseling on enhancing the self-assurance levels among 19-25-year-old students enrolled at the Faculty of Psychology, Bhayangkara University of Greater Jakarta. The study utilized a quantitative methodology, employing questionnaires for data collection. The collected data revealed that among 30 students, 4 exhibited low self-confidence levels. These four individuals were chosen as subjects for the research, receiving CBT-based counseling to address their self-confidence issues. The focus of the researchers was solely on interventions targeting self-confidence problems through CBT counseling techniques. The counseling sessions uncovered that these students faced challenges in feeling confident when interacting with groups of people, experiencing worry and a lack of assurance in such situations. While the outcomes of the counseling using CBT did not achieve a complete 100% enhancement in the self-confidence levels of the students at the Faculty of Psychology, Bhayangkara University of Greater Jakarta, there were observable positive changes in the students' perspectives and their ability to manage their thoughts. The efficacy of the counseling could be deemed successful with a 70% success rate.

Abstract

By looking at current educational developments, we realize that the psychological component is very important for academic success. It cannot be denied that a student's behavior can affect his or her achievement at school. Anxiety in the lecture environment is one of the problems that arise during the educational process. When faced with situations that challenge their thinking, many students experience anxiety. The aim of this research is to identify whether there is a relationship between academic anxiety and psychology students at Bhayangkara University. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were students of the Bhayangkara University Psychology Program. The quota sampling method is taking samples from a population that has certain characteristics to obtain the desired sample size. The researcher's questionnaire was administered via Google Form to collect data. Data analysis was carried out by applying correlation test techniques, in accordance with the research hypothesis, to identify the relationship between anxiety levels and learning achievement. This study found that the anxiety level of students in the Bhayangkara University Psychology Study Program delayed their learning outcomes. The validity test results showed 14 valid items, and the reliability test showed a score of 0.735 for reliable information. Students also tend to distract themselves with other activities rather than focusing on studying. Apart from that, their lack of self-confidence seems to be reflected in their imagination on certain questions, which then has an impact on their learning achievement.

Abstract

Attachment is an emotional bond between children and parents that lasts long enough in the span of human life, leading children to feel pleasure when they interact with them. Authoritarian parenting is a parent's restriction of a child's actions or behavior by setting standard parental rules that the child must obey and providing punishment if the child breaks the rules, but authoritarian parents pay little attention to the child. This research aims to explain the influence of authoritarian parenting on early adulthood's attachment to parents. This research uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression research type. The population used in this research were active students at University X in North Bekasi. In this research, the data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires via Google Form which contained instruments from a psychological scale. To make things easier for researchers, data analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 software. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that in this study students at University their parents' authoritarian upbringing. Then a significance value of 0.112 > 0.05 was obtained, so it can be concluded that authoritarian parenting has no effect on attachment in early adulthood.
