Abstract

The integration of multicultural Islamic educational values ​​in foreign language institutions is discussed within the framework of critical discourse analysis from the aspects of the textual dimension, discourse analysis, and social practice. The role of foreign language institutions is seen as linguistic ideological constitutional institutions that have a dialectical relationship with the local culture of the language's origin, so that it is suspected that they are not in accordance with the function of Islamic boarding schools. Based on the background above, the researcher wants to analyze the integration of multicultural Islamic educational values ​​in foreign language institutions at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo. The focus of this research is (1) exploring the model, process, and strategy of integrating the values ​​of Multicultural Islamic Education in foreign language institutions, and (2) Interpreting the contribution of the results of integrating the values ​​of Multicultural Islamic Education in foreign language institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, research subjects were determined based on purposive sampling, data analysis techniques were carried out by condensing data, presenting data, verifying, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the integration of multicultural Islamic education in the foreign language institution at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid is carried out well through curriculum, extracurricular activities, Santri organizations and collaboration between institutions. This integration process shows good results and does not interfere with the main focus of Pondok Pesantren as a religious institution.

Abstract

Traditional Islamic book learning tends to emphasize text mastery but pays little attention to students' self-efficacy and learning independence. This study aims to analyze how the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum rapid book reading method influences the self-efficacy and psychological transformation of students through a systematic pedagogical approach based on intrinsic motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of ustaz and students in the context of book learning in Islamic boarding schools. The results show that the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method fosters self-confidence and learning independence through gradual success experiences, social and spiritual support, and reflective and collaborative learning interactions. Three main findings emerged: methodological construction based on successful experiences strengthens students' self-efficacy, the internalization of self-efficacy values through social and spiritual support increases motivation and emotional calm, and psychological transformation encourages the formation of sustainable learning autonomy. This study contributes to the development of Islamic pedagogical theory by emphasizing the importance of synergy between cognitive, affective, social, and spiritual dimensions in developing students' learning character, which is characterized by confidence, independence, and resilience.

Abstract

Strengthening capacity is a demand for policies that will be taken in the process of improvement or change for individuals or institutions in achieving predetermined goals. Strengthening the capacity in the business will have a significant impact on the sustainability of the business being carried out. Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school is one of the Islamic boarding schools which has significant influence on many aspects of community life. The existence of a pesantren business, namely EN-JE mart, is one of the income-generating business units for the pesantren. The results of the study obtained from this study include the strategies used by EN-JE mart to attract consumers, both in terms of improving the organizational structure, budget capacity, facilities and infrastructure, and services. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, the description obtained from the results of this study aims to provide insight and further assess the positive performance of EN-JE mart.
