Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal gross motor development of 3-4 year-old children at the MAWAR II Jember Kindergarten, which risks hampering their independence and self-confidence. The focus of this study was to improve children's gross motor skills, including balance, strength, and flexibility, through the implementation of a large ball throwing and catching game. As a crucial step, this study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles with 20 children. Each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection, with data collected through observation sheets and performance tests. The main findings showed a very significant improvement. In the first cycle, the average achievement of indicators was still below 50%, but after improvements in the second cycle, there was a surge in achievement exceeding the 75% success target, with balance indicators reaching 81%, strength 93%, and flexibility 92%. In conclusion, implementing a structured ball throwing game has proven to be a highly effective strategy for improving gross motor skills in 3-4 year-old children by stimulating optimal physical development through enjoyable play activities. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di KB MAWAR II Jember, yang berisiko menghambat kemandirian dan kepercayaan diri mereka. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar anak, yang mencakup aspek keseimbangan, kekuatan, dan kelenturan, melalui implementasi permainan melempar dan menangkap bola besar. Sebagai langkah penting, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada 20 anak. Setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan tes kinerja. Temuan utama menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Pada siklus I, rata-rata pencapaian indikator masih di bawah 50%, namun setelah perbaikan pada siklus II, terjadi lonjakan pencapaian yang melampaui target keberhasilan 75%, dengan indikator keseimbangan mencapai 81%, kekuatan 93%, dan kelenturan 92%. Kesimpulannya, penerapan permainan melempar bola secara terstruktur terbukti menjadi strategi yang sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar anak usia 3-4 tahun, dengan menstimulasi perkembangan fisik secara optimal melalui kegiatan bermain yang menyenangkan.

Abstract

Al-Quran is a holy book that was revealed by Allah to the Ummi Prophet Muhammad SAW, as one of the incomparable graces for the universe. Muslims feel that it is a great worship to memorize Al-Quran ul Karim. People who memorize are highly exalted and respected. Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Nurul Islam Kraton is an educational institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion which requires its students to memorize the Qur'an, especially juz amma. To obtain the data needed in this study, data collection methods were used to achieve the specified goals, while the methods used in data collection were observation, interviews and documentaries. The data collection method is carried out in a predetermined sample. In this study, researchers used qualitative data analysis of descriptive data. From the data obtained and analyzed, it can be concluded that the application of the method of reading habituation in improving students' ability to memorize juz amma at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Nurul Islam Kraton, Yosowilangun District, Lumajang Regency has been carried out in a good and professional manner, but needs to be improved. Among them: a) The planning application of the reading habituation method has been going well, namely leading to needs which include activities, namely, identification of needs, and identification of competencies. Which has all gone well. b) The application of the implementation of the reading habituation method has been going well, this is proven by the use of methods, media and implementation times that are as expected. c) The application for evaluating the reading habituation method is carried out in two ways, namely by test and non-test and everything is going well.

Abstract

Evaluation of Islamic religious education is the main basis for understanding the extent to which the goals of Islamic religious education have been achieved, as well as for identifying areas of improvement that may be needed. Evaluation of PAI learning at PGRI Argopuro Jember University also has an impact on the quality of human resources produced by educational institutions. Students who have experienced a good PAI learning evaluation are expected to become agents of positive change in society, by implementing Islamic religious values ??in various aspects of life. Abstract

This paper aims to find out how the andragogical approach is applied in learning to read the Qur’an with the Ummi method for adults at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Furqan Jember. Using a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of field study, with Miles & Huberman technical data analysis. The findings in this study explain that learning the Qur'an with the Ummi method for adults at Madin Al-Furqan applies an andragogical approach, with classroom management according to the 7 stages formulated by the Ummi Foundation; opening, apperception, instilling concepts, understanding concepts, skills, evaluation and closing. The application of the andragogical approach is found in several ways; 1. In determining the study group, it begins with the placement test, to determine the learning readiness of students. 2. The ratio of teachers and students is not always 1: 15, but is adjusted to the age and abilities of students. 3 at the apperception stage, more flexible to increase memorization. 4 Giving an offer to take the munaqosah or final exam. 5 various learning classes are provided. Andragogy approach to create a more fun and humanist learning for adults.

Abstract

One method that supports children's literacy skills is finger panting activities. In this activity there are several flexibility components including: finger painting, arranging, and coloring. This activity can even improve children's fine motor skills and can also hone imagination and artistic creativity in children. Implementation of finger painting and banana leaf activities in improving the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Glagahwero Panti Kindergarten, Jember Regency, namely: the teacher determines the theme, the teacher prepares the media, the teacher informs the theme that will be used, the teacher informs the media that will be used , the teacher tells the child how to do the assignment, the teacher provides guidance and motivation to the child when doing the assignment, the teacher gives direction to the child to submit the assignment, and finally the teacher carries out an evaluation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low fine motor skills of group B students at SPS Rambutan 78 Jember. Initial observations showed that the majority of children had difficulty with activities such as cutting and holding a pencil. This condition was caused by monotonous learning methods and a lack of creative media. The focus of this research was to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through the application of clay play. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis & McTaggart, conducted in two cycles with 13 children. Data were collected through observation and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed a significant and progressive increase in fine motor skill achievement. In the pre-cycle stage, the average achievement was only 45.49% (Beginning to Develop). After the intervention in Cycle I, achievement increased to 59.18% (Developing as Expected), and peaked in Cycle II at 76.24% (Developing Very Well). It was concluded that the clay play method was proven effective in improving the fine motor skills of early childhood, successfully achieving the established success indicators. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan motorik halus siswa kelompok B di SPS Rambutan 78 Jember, di mana observasi awal menunjukkan mayoritas anak kesulitan dalam aktivitas seperti menggunting dan memegang pensil. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan minim media kreatif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui penerapan metode bermain tanah liat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus terhadap 13 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan capaian keterampilan motorik halus yang signifikan dan progresif. Pada tahap pra-siklus, rata-rata capaian hanya 45,49% (Mulai Berkembang). Setelah intervensi Siklus I, capaian meningkat menjadi 59,18% (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan), dan mencapai puncaknya pada Siklus II dengan 76,24% (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Disimpulkan bahwa metode bermain tanah liat terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini, berhasil mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of color recognition as part of early childhood cognitive development. However, initial observations at SPS Rambutan 78 indicate that many children still experience difficulties. This low ability is thought to be due to a lack of varied and engaging learning media. The focus of this research is to improve the ability of 5-6 year old children to recognize colors through the application of PowerPoint-based learning media. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 13 children from Group A at SPS Rambutan 78. Data were collected through observations and child worksheets, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed a significant improvement: the average color recognition ability increased from 46.78% in the pre-cycle (Beginning to Develop), to 63.10% in Cycle I (Developing as Expected), and reached 79.76% in Cycle II (Developing Very Well). These findings demonstrate that the use of interactive and visual PowerPoint media is effective in improving early childhood color recognition abilities. It was concluded that PowerPoint media is an innovative alternative media that successfully improves the quality of learning at SPS Rambutan 78. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan mengenal warna sebagai bagian dari perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini, namun observasi awal di SPS Rambutan 78 menunjukkan banyak anak masih mengalami kesulitan. Rendahnya kemampuan ini diduga akibat kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran yang menarik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak usia 5-6 tahun dalam mengenal warna melalui penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 13 anak Kelompok A di SPS Rambutan 78. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan lembar kerja anak, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: rata-rata kemampuan mengenal warna meningkat dari 46,78% pada pra-siklus (Mulai Berkembang), menjadi 63,10% pada Siklus I (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan), dan mencapai 79,76% pada Siklus II (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media PowerPoint yang interaktif dan visual efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal warna anak usia dini. Disimpulkan bahwa media PowerPoint merupakan alternatif media inovatif yang berhasil meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SPS Rambutan 78.
