Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the readiness of MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City in facing the Industrial Revolution 5.0 through the implementation of the Green Economy. Methodology: This research uses descriptive quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and descriptive simple linear regression using SPSS software version 23. The population in this study were 118,533 MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City. The research sample was obtained using the Slovin formula as many as 100 MSMEs. Results: The results show that MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City demonstrate a good understanding of the Green Economy, with an average score of 4.09.  However, despite this high understanding, the implementation of Green Economy principles in specific aspects such as waste management and social media campaigns still needs to be improved. In addition, MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City show high readiness in facing the Industrial Revolution 5.0, with an average score of 4.51. MSMEs have started to integrate digital technology and automation in their operations. Limitations: The limitations of this study include geographical coverage limited to MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City, so the results may not be generalizable to other regions.  Additionally, this study does not focus on MSMEs with specific types of businesses, so the results may not capture the specific characteristics or challenges that may be faced by particular business sectors. Contribution: The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policy makers in formulating more effective strategies to support MSMEs in adopting environmentally friendly technologies.

Abstract

Students' decisions in choosing a university are influenced by the brand image and internet marketing carried out by the agency/company. The use of data collection in this research is the purposive sampling method, with the Heirs formula, namely 20 indicators x 10, namely 200 sampling, the analytical tool used in the research is Smart Pls 3.0, the findings obtained in this research are positive Brand Image and are significant for student decisions Choosing Malahayati University, social media is positive and significant for the decision to choose students at Malahayati University, Website is positive and significant for the decision to choose Malahayati University, advice obtained from research results, website maintenance which is sometimes late compared to social media for the latest information in providing information on the website . The results that have been obtained by websites that do not provide the latest information for information seekers do not provide information that is comprehensive and easy to understand. This must be taken into greater consideration by information seekers in searching for information for universities. The results that have been obtained are that the latest information meets the needs they have Information seekers want via social media to not be able to provide information quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan utang terhadap return saham perusahaan properti yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam konteks volatilitas ekonomi global. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi, penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara rasio utang (Debt to Equity Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio) dan return saham, serta pengaruh volatilitas ekonomi global sebagai faktor moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan utang tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham, dengan nilai koefisien regresi yang rendah dan R² yang menunjukkan bahwa model ini tidak dapat menjelaskan variasi return saham secara memadai. Selain itu, volatilitas ekonomi global, seperti fluktuasi nilai tukar, suku bunga global, dan ketegangan geopolitik, terbukti menjadi faktor moderasi yang meningkatkan risiko keuangan dan menurunkan kepercayaan investor, sehingga memengaruhi kinerja saham secara negatif. Penelitian ini menyarankan perusahaan properti untuk mengevaluasi kembali strategi pembiayaan mereka dengan mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal yang dapat memperburuk dampak kebijakan utang, serta mengurangi ketergantungan pada utang jangka panjang dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur kebijakan utang dan return saham, dengan menekankan pentingnya mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal seperti volatilitas ekonomi global dalam analisis hubungan tersebut.

Abstract

Promoting local economic development through an ecopreneurship approach serves as an innovative solution to empower communities, particularly the younger generation. This study examines the empowerment initiatives undertaken by Karang Taruna in Sumbermulyo Subdistrict, Lampung, through the practices of making candles from used cooking oil and producing aromatherapy air fresheners. These activities aim to provide new skills, create eco-friendly business opportunities, and raise community awareness about household waste management. The process of making candles from used cooking oil involves a simple, effective, and easily applicable recycling method. Meanwhile, the aromatherapy air fresheners are crafted using natural materials readily available in the surrounding environment. This program not only generates economic benefits for Karang Taruna members but also contributes to waste reduction and environmental quality improvement. The results indicate that this ecopreneurship approach successfully enhances entrepreneurial skills, motivates young people to engage in entrepreneurship, and delivers positive socio-economic impacts for the Sumbermulyo community. Thus, this initiative serves as a model for community empowerment that can be adopted by other communities to sustainably stimulate local economic growth.Keywords: Ecopreneurship, Community Empowerment, Karang Taruna, Local Economy, Recycling, Used Cooking Oil.

Abstract

There are still few previous studies in Indonesia that have conducted research using corporate governance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance risk scores as independent variables with company value as the dependent variable. So, this research aims to determine the influence of corporate governance and ESG scores on the value of companies included in Morningstar Sustainalytics. This research is a quantitative type of research using the size of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, and gender diversity, as a proxy for corporate governance, the Morningstar Sustainalytics version of the ESG risk score as a proxy for the ESG rating. Company size and leverage are used as control variables in this study, and Tobin's Q as a proxy for company value. The research results found that corporate governance variables (board size, independent commissioners, and gender diversity) and ESG risk scores had a positive effect, however, they did not have a statistically significant effect on company value. This means that, statistically, the variables used are not able to convincingly explain changes in the company's market value as measured using Tobin's Q.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism is a crucial aspect in maintaining the attractiveness of tourist destinations while minimizing environmental and economic impacts. This study aims to analyze the influence of tourist satisfaction, environmental impact, and destination attractiveness on the sustainability of tourism at Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa. This research employs a quantitative approach using a simple random sampling method, involving 100 tourists visiting the destination. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using regression tests with SPSS version 23 to examine the relationships between the research variables. The findings reveal that tourist satisfaction, environmental impact, and destination attractiveness have a significant positive effect on tourism sustainability. High tourist satisfaction indicates that the services and facilities provided meet visitors’ expectations. Effective environmental management contributes to maintaining long-term destination appeal, while destination attractiveness, including natural beauty and cultural diversity, plays a key role in attracting more visitors. This study concludes that achieving tourism sustainability requires continuous improvement in service quality, sustainable environmental management strategies, and innovation in destination development. Therefore, tourism managers should enhance visitor experiences and implement sustainability principles to maintain long-term competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to educate and enhance digital financial literacy among students of SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung through the implementation of the smart money management concept, as well to provide an understanding of the growing dangers of online gambling among teenagers. In today’s digital era, easy access to financial technology, coupled with a lack of self-control, can lead to consumptive behavior and increase the risk of engaging in online gambling activities. The methods used in this activity include an educational approach through seminars, interactive discussions, and the dissemination of digital information media. The results show that students displayed high enthusiasm for wise financial management and an increased awareness of the social, legal, and psychological risks associated with online gambling. Early aducation on financial literacy and the dangers of online gambling has proven effective as a preventive measure in shaping students into financially intelligent and digitally ethical individuals..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of community service observations that focus on the problem of managing UMKM  finances. To realize this, this study aims to enable UMKM actors to be able to run and maintain their businesses well under any circumstances and can optimize the financial management of UMKM. The research was conducted by a group of economics and management students of Malahayati University.  With the research method, the results show that students get experience because they are directly involved in UMKM. With this activity, students can learn how to manage finances well and effectively, and can be more familiar with the use of technology and simple financial applications that can help facilitate business financial management.

Abstract

Background: Stunting remains a public health challenge in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 21.6% in 2022. Contributing factors include chronic malnutrition, recurrent infections, and low family purchasing power. In Ketapang Village, cocoa potential has not been optimally utilized, even though it could be developed into nutritious food with high economic value. Local cocoa processing is considered strategic for supporting Stunting prevention and improving community welfare. Purpose: Increase community income and prevent Stunting through entrepreneurship training, nutrition education, and diversification of processed cocoa products, such as Broka Brownies Cocoa, as a healthy food alternative based on local potential. Method: The 2025 KKL-PPM activity was conducted in Ketapang Village, Tanggamus, involving 25 housewives and village youth, supported by Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) cadres and village officials. Implementation methods included socialization of Stunting and balanced nutrition, training and practice in making Broka Brownies Cocoa using local ingredients, entrepreneurship mentoring (packaging, marketing, and small business management), and monitoring and evaluation of the activity's impact. The production process used simple tools and materials easily accessible to residents. Results: Community nutrition knowledge increased by approximately 30% and encouraged the production of Broka Brownies Cocoa by 25 participants with consistent quality. This innovative product was well-received by the community and provided added economic value, with a net profit margin of approximately 30% of production costs. The positive social impact was reflected in the formation of small business groups of housewives who independently continued production and marketing, demonstrating the potential for local empowerment based on functional foods. Conclusion: Nutrition literacy, cocoa processing skills, and the empowerment of community entrepreneurial potential through the Broka Brownies Cocoa innovation increased. This activity contributed to Stunting prevention, family economic empowerment, and the development of a competitive local culinary identity. Cross-sector collaboration and a local potential-based approach proved effective in creating sustainable solutions, with recommendations for further training, access to capital, and marketing networks to support business independence and village food security. Suggestion: The village government should support the formation of joint ventures and ongoing mentoring, and encourage the use of the product as a nutritious snack at integrated health posts (posyandu) and schools. Further research is needed to confirm the nutritional impact and sustainability of the program. Faktor penyebabnya meliputi kekurangan gizi kronis, infeksi berulang, dan rendahnya daya beli keluarga. Di Desa Ketapang, potensi kakao belum dimanfaatkan optimal, padahal dapat dikembangkan menjadi pangan bergizi bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Pengolahan kakao lokal dinilai strategis untuk mendukung pencegahan stunting dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan: Meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan mencegah stunting melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan, edukasi gizi, dan diversifikasi produk olahan kakao, seperti Broka Brownies Kakao, sebagai alternatif pangan sehat berbasis potensi lokal. Metode: Kegiatan KKL-PPM tahun 2025 dilaksanakan di Desa Ketapang, Tanggamus, dengan melibatkan 25 orang ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda desa, didukung oleh kader posyandu, dan perangkat desa. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi stunting dan gizi seimbang, pelatihan serta praktik pembuatan Broka Brownies Kakao berbahan lokal, pendampingan kewirausahaan (pengemasan, pemasaran, dan pengelolaan usaha kecil), serta monitoring dan evaluasi dampak kegiatan. Proses produksi menggunakan alat sederhana dan bahan yang mudah diakses warga. Hasil: Peningkatan pengetahuan gizi masyarakat sebesar ±30% dan mendorong produksi Broka Brownies Kakao oleh 25 peserta dengan kualitas seragam. Produk inovatif ini diterima baik oleh masyarakat dan memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi, dengan margin keuntungan bersih sekitar 30% dari biaya produksi. Dampak sosial positif tercermin dari terbentuknya kelompok usaha kecil ibu rumah tangga yang secara mandiri melanjutkan produksi dan pemasaran, menunjukkan potensi pemberdayaan lokal berbasis pangan fungsional. Simpulan: Terjadi peningkatan literasi gizi, keterampilan pengolahan kakao, dan pemberdayaan potensi kewirausahaan masyarakat melalui inovasi Broka Brownies Kakao. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada pencegahan stunting, penguatan ekonomi keluarga, dan pembentukan identitas kuliner lokal yang kompetitif. Kolaborasi lintas sektor serta pendekatan berbasis potensi lokal terbukti efektif menciptakan solusi berkelanjutan, dengan rekomendasi pelatihan lanjutan, akses permodalan, dan jejaring pemasaran untuk mendukung kemandirian usaha dan ketahanan pangan desa. Saran: Pemerintah desa perlu mendukung pembentukan usaha bersama dan pendampingan lanjutan, serta mendorong pemanfaatan produk sebagai camilan bergizi di posyandu dan sekolah. Penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk memastikan dampak gizi dan keberlanjutan program.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at the Student Cooperative of Lampung University (Kopma Unila) with the aim of enhancing the financial literacy of its board members. The program involved 60 Kopma Unila board members and included education on financial management, the culture of saving, and investment. The methods used consisted of material presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in the understanding and skills of the board members regarding personal and organizational financial management. This financial literacy education is expected to help Kopma Unila board members manage the cooperative's finances more effectively and efficiently, as well as avoid impulsive behaviors and a consumerist culture. The program also provides recommendations for advanced training and the integration of financial literacy into cooperative activities. These findings underscore the importance of financial literacy in the healthy and sustainable management of cooperatives.
