Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pertambatan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor penyebab terjadinya praktik politik uang dalam pemilihan kepala desa dan menganalisis dampak politik uang terhadap partisipasi masyarakat desa Pertambatan dalam pemilihan kepala desa Periode tahun 2019-2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data yang bersumber dari data primer yaitu wawancara dan dari data sekunder sekunder yaitu dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya praktik politik uang pada pemilihan kepala desa di desa Pertambatan ialah faktor kebiasaan yang menjadi budaya, kurangnya pendidikan politik, faktor Ekonomi, dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat. 2) Dampak politik uang terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilihan kepala desa ialah tingkat partisipasi meningkat, kepuasan dan ketidakpuasan masyarakat terhadap pemimpin yang terpilih terkait kualitas pemimpin yang terpilih

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and promotion on purchasing decisions of female students of HKBP Nommensen University. This study was conducted using a quantitative method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the t-count value for the brand image variable is 4.307 where the value is> from t table 1.985 and the significant value for the brand image variable is 0.000 <from the significance level of 0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Poise brand facial soap. And the f test obtained an f-count value of 45.760 where this value is> from the f table of 3.09. Along with the significant value is 0.000 <from the significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that simultaneously brand image and promotion together have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Poise brand facial soap.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using digital wallets on consumer behavior among students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. This research uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling techniques. The two variables examined in this research are digital wallet funds (Independent Variable) and consumptive behavior (Dependent Variable). The data collection technique used in this research used a questionnaire distributed to 98 students at HKBP Nommensen University in Medan. Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the tcount for the digital funds wallet variable is 7.331, where this value is > from t table of 1.661 with a significant value for the digital funds wallet variable being 0.000 < the significance level of 0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded that digital fund wallets have a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality on sales volume and to determine the effect of promotion on sales volume of Gambir Tea Powder consumers in Salak District. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all Gambir Tea Powder Consumers. Based on the Slovin formula, the sample used in this study was 100 respondents who were taken randomly representing each village. The results of the study showed that product quality significantly affects purchasing decisions, this is shown in the results of the partial test (t-test) The calculated t value (X1) 16.350 > t table 1.984 significance value 0.000 < 0.05 and the results of the partial test (t-test) The calculated t value (X2) 17.525 > t table 1.984 significance value 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained at 0.784, meaning that the Purchasing Decision variable can be explained by the product quality and promotion variables by 78.4% and the remaining 21.6% is influenced by other variables outside the variables of this study. The conclusion in this study is that product quality and promotion have a positive and significant effect on sales volume for consumers of Gambir Tea Powder in Salak District, Pakpak Bharat Regency.

Abstract

Stunting handling is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target to overcome malnutrition and achieve food security in 2030. Stunting is a failure to grow on toddlers due to chronic malnutrition, especially in 1,000 First Life Day (HPK), which has an impact on child's growth and cognitive appearance. In 2023, Hiliduho District has a quite high stunting rate, and Hiliduho District Health Center plays a role as the forefront of his handling. This study aims to analyze the Regent Regulation Number 24 of 2020 related to stunting in realizing SDGs, identifying obstacles, and steps to overcome them. Research methods are qualitative with the study approach through interviews and documentation. The results show that the Hiliduho Health Center carries stunting management based on six service dimensions: safety, effectiveness, patient focus, time accuracy, efficiency and equality. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inovasi pelayanan dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pelayanan dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Secara simultan, kedua variabel ini juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan inovasi dan kualitas pelayanan perlu terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study examines gender mainstreaming strategies in the BNKP Church as a non governmental institution that plays a crucial role in the social and religious life of the community. The research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by BNKP to promote gender mainstreaming and identify the challenges that persist in the process. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, in which data is collected through in-depth interviews with BNKP Synod office administrators and female pastors. The findings indicate that BNKP has implemented various gender mainstreaming strategies, such as providing access to theological education for women, creating opportunities for them to become pastors, and organizing women's empowerment programs. Despite progress in gender mainstreaming within BNKP, further efforts are required to ensure more substantive equality, as BNKP still faces challenges, including a deeply rooted patriarchal culture, gender stereotypes that limit women's roles in leadership, and the double burden that women continue to bear. Abstract

This study aims to analyze public perceptions of services at the Sibea-Bea tourist attraction in Samosir Regency and identify influencing factors. Sibea-Bea is a rapidly developing, leading tourist destination in the Lake Toba area, with its main attractions being natural panoramas and religious tourism. However, over time, the services provided to tourists have been deemed suboptimal, influencing public perception. The research results show that public perception of services at the Sibea-Bea tourist attraction is generally considered quite good. This is evidenced by the SERVQUAL service quality dimensions, which include physical appearance, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The empathy and assurance dimensions received the highest ratings due to the friendly attitude of the community and the sense of security felt by tourists. However, the physical appearance dimension still faces shortcomings, particularly in public facilities such as toilets, trash cans, and rest areas. Furthermore, limited staffing also hampers optimal service delivery.

Abstract

The development of the digital era requires government institutions to adapt their bureaucratic work systems and public services to become more effective and responsive. However, the adaptation process still faces several challenges, such as limited technological competence, conventional bureaucratic work patterns, and the readiness of civil servants to face change. Therefore, an adaptive governance approach is needed to encourage flexibility and the ability of organizations to adjust to environmental dynamics. This study aims to analyze the implementation of adaptive governance in improving the performance of civil servants at the Medan Timur Sub-district Office and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis applies the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of adaptive governance is reflected in collaboration among employees, flexibility in work procedures, improvement of civil servants’ capacity in the use of technology, and the role of transformational leadership in encouraging openness to change. These efforts contribute to improving work effectiveness and the quality of public services. However, several obstacles remain, including limited digital skills, lack of technical training, and work habits that are still oriented toward manual systems. The study concludes that adaptive governance plays an important role in improving civil servant performance and supporting organizational adaptation to the digital transformation of public services.

Abstract

The issue of slum settlements remains one of the environmental problems in urban areas, including in Belawan Bahagia Subdistrict, Medan Belawan District. The government is attempting to address this problem through various development programs. This study analyzes the implementation of the Village Fund program in tackling slum settlements in Belawan Bahagia Subdistrict using George C. Edwards III's theory. The method used is qualitative through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that the program implementation has gone quite well but is not yet optimal. Community communication and participation are still low, resources are limited, while the disposition of officials and the bureaucratic structure have functioned well. The program contributes to environmental improvement but still requires optimization.
