Abstract

This research describes the problems of accepting new students (PPDB) with the Zoning System in Padang City Elementary Schools. This type of research is qualitative. The presence of researchers is the main or key instrument. This research was conducted at 2 Padang City Elementary Schools. Data was obtained from school principals, teachers and prospective student parents. Data was collected by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively with interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity with criteria and examination techniques, namely by extending the observation time and testing using triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that PPDB problems with the zoning system in Padang City Elementary Schools include: (1) Tight Competition and (2) inequality in facilities and resources.

Abstract

General background: Literacy is a fundamental competency in primary education, with early reading and writing forming the foundation for lifelong learning. Specific background: However, many second-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Pasar Melintang Tapan still struggle to meet minimum literacy standards, partly due to monotonous teaching methods and limited instructional media. Knowledge gap: While the Picture Word Inductive (PWI) model has been recognized for its potential, its integration with picture word cards in the context of Indonesian primary schools has been underexplored. Aims: This study examined the effectiveness of the PWI model supported by picture word cards in improving students’ beginning reading and writing skills. Results: Using a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design with 42 students, findings revealed significant improvements in the experimental group compared to the control group. Posttest reading scores (79.77 vs. 74.25) and writing scores (82.45 vs. 76.75) demonstrated higher achievement with strong statistical support (p < .001). Novelty: The study contributes evidence that combining inductive vocabulary strategies with visual media enhances literacy acquisition more effectively than conventional methods. Implications: These results suggest that integrating PWI and picture word cards can serve as a practical and scalable strategy to strengthen national literacy initiatives in early grades. Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in the dare and offline learning process. Some of these problems include educators being constrained in paying attention to the learning process, educators being constrained in providing assessments, educators being constrained in seeing developments in students' understanding, educators being unable to utilize learning media during the learning process, students being constrained in answering questions given by educators. . The aim of this research is to determine teachers' perceptions of bold and offline learning, to find out the comparison between teachers' perceptions of bold and offline learning. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research and comparative quantitative research. The results of the research explain that the teacher's perception of dare learning is very good, the Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) for the planning aspect is 89.56%, TCR for the implementation aspect is 88.89%, TCR for the evaluation aspect is 92.71%. Teachers' perceptions of offline learning are very good, TCR for the planning aspect is 90.63%, TCR for the implementation aspect is 94.21%, TCR for the evaluation aspect is 92.68%. There are differences between these two learning systems, seen from the overall average of the answers, namely bold learning got an average of 67.51, while offline learning got an average of 68.16.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan dimana pendidik masih banyak yang belum menggunakan media pada saat proses belajar mengajar, adapun media pembelajaran hanya menggunakan gambar yang ada pada buku peserta didik sehingga peserta didik kurang termotivasi, materi yang disampaikan kurang dipahami dan berdampak pada hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/ R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang terdiri atas tahap pendefenisian (Define), tahap perancangan (Design), tahap pengembangan (Development), dan tahap penyebarluasan (Dissimination). Hasil penelitian pengembangan media Fun Thinkers Book dengan 3 orang validator, 1 orang pendidik dan 18 orang peserta didik. Penelitian menujukkan validitas media berada pada kritaria “Sangat Valid” dengan rata-rata hasil validasi sebesar 83%. Praktikalitas media berada pada kriteria “Sangat Praktis” dengan rata-rata hasil praktikalitas 93,95%. Efektivitas mendapatkan presentase 91% dengan kriteria penilaian “Sangat Efektif”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Fun Thinkers Book untuk peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang peneliti kembangkan sudah valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Profesionalisme kerja guru meliputi pengetahuan, sikap moral dan keterampilan dalam menjalankan tugasnya menjadi hal yang sangat penting ditingkatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Profesionalisme Kerja Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Sutera khususnya di Sekolah Dasar 07 Sikabu Munto dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kompetensi yang diteliti meliputi kompetensi kepribadian, profesional, pedagogik dan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profesionalisme guru pada aspek kompetensi kepribadian “kurang memuaskan”, hal ini terlihat pada tingkat kedispilinan guru dalam mematuhi aturan Sekolah. Profesionalisme guru pada aspek profesional “kurang memuaskan”, hal ini terlihat, pada saat menjelaskan pembelajaran, guru tergantung pada buku. Profesionalisme guru pada aspek kompetensi pedagogik khususnya pada sub aspek kualitas mengajar “memuaskan” namun masih “belum memuaskan” pada sub aspek pemanfaatan dan penggunakan media. Profesionalisme guru pada aspek kompetensi sosial “belum memuaskan”, hal ini terlihat pada indikator kemampuan berkomunikasi kurang efektif dengan semua masyarakat sekolah.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of the Tikrar as a method for memorizing hadith on limited face-to-face learning and its effect on students’ hadith memorization activities. Tikrar method refers to the memorizing method that emphasizes reading repetition so it can be a longterm memory for children. The research in this article was conducted by using a descriptivequalitative method. Data collection techniques included observation, interview, and documentation techniques with the researcher as the main instrument. The results showed that the implementation of the Tikrar method was applied by each student in the class by speaking out loud under the teacher’s guidance. At the end of the meeting, students were asked to reread the hadith that they had recited without reading the text. Based on the results of observation, interviews, and documentation, the tikrar method could make students easier to memorize hadith. The effectiveness of the Tikrar method in rote learning activities like memorizing the Al-Qur'an and memorizing hadith as the results of this research, produced conclusions and recommendations for the Islamic schools to use the Tikrar method in learning Al-Qur’an and Hadith.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan fondasi utama dalam membangun keterlibatan dan keberhasilan akademik siswa sekolah dasar dalam menghadapi dinamika pembelajaran dan perkembangan informasi di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi teori motivasi belajar dengan praktik pembelajaran di SDN 10 Pasar Melintang serta mengkaji penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia dalam berita pendidikan daring berdasarkan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi dokumentasi terhadap teks berita pendidikan online dan studi pustaka terhadap literatur teori motivasi belajar dan kaidah kebahasaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teori motivasi, khususnya pendekatan Self-Determination dan penguatan behavioristik, selaras dengan praktik pembelajaran yang mendorong partisipasi, kemandirian, dan apresiasi siswa, sementara analisis kebahasaan mengungkap masih ditemukannya kesalahan ejaan yang berpotensi menurunkan kualitas informasi pendidikan di media daring. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teori motivasi dalam strategi pembelajaran guru serta peningkatan kesadaran kebahasaan penulis media sebagai bagian dari upaya membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang bermutu dan berkarakter

Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menekankan pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi sejak jenjang sekolah dasar. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dinilai relevan untuk menjawab tuntutan tersebut adalah strategi deep learning, yang berfokus pada pemahaman konsep secara mendalam dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru dalam mengimplementasikan strategi deep learning guna menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah nasional dan internasional, yang dilengkapi dengan observasi kelas secara partisipatif untuk mengkaji praktik pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning melalui pendekatan meaningful learning, mindful learning, dan joyful learning mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, memperkuat pemahaman konseptual, serta mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Guru memiliki peran sentral dalam merancang pembelajaran yang kontekstual, reflektif, dan kolaboratif sehingga siswa mampu mengaitkan pengetahuan dengan pengalaman nyata. Oleh karena itu, penerapan strategi deep learning yang dirancang secara matang dan berkelanjutan dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta mempersiapkan siswa sekolah dasar menghadapi tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low science learning outcomes of elementary school students due to the dominance of conventional teacher-centered methods and the lack of innovative learning media. These conditions cause difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, low motivation, and lack of opportunities for independent learning outside the classroom. This study aims to develop an e-module based on the flipped classroom model to improve science learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D Thiagarajan development model which includes the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research subjects were 24 fourth-grade students of SDN 06 Aur Tajungkang Tengah Sawah Bukittinggi who were selected through total sampling. The research instruments included validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through content and construct validity tests, reliability tests, practicality analysis, N-Gain calculations, and independent sample t-tests with SPSS 16.0. The results of the study showed that the developed e-module was highly valid with an average validation value of 96.8% from material experts and 100% from media experts. The practicality test showed a very practical category, with 94.6% from teachers and 91.2% from students, respectively. Effectiveness analysis through N-Gain showed an increase in learning outcomes in the moderate category (0.58), and the t-test confirmed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). The flipped classroom-based e-module is valid, practical, and effective, and is recommended to strengthen learning independence and the effectiveness of science learning in the digital era.
