Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bagi tenaga kependidikan dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi teknis tenaga kependidikan.Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada para tenaga kependidikan dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah tenaga administrasi, laboran/laboratorium, pustakawan, teknisi, dan petugas keuangan yang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kependidikan kurang memahami materi kompetensi teknis masing-masing tenaga tersebut. Setelah pelatihan dilakukan para tenaga kependidikan sudah memahami kompetensi dan tugasnya dengan kategori baik, diharapkan mereka dapat melakukan tugas masing-masing, yang merupakan tugas pokoknya. Diharapkan dapat tenaga kependidikan dapat mengerti dan memahami materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, karena materi ini dilengkapi dengan latihan memahami tupoksi, sehingga kendala tenaga kependidikan dalam mejalankan tugasnya bisa teratasi. kompetensi tenaga administrasi merujuk pada kemampuan dan kinerja pegawai administrasi dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of school culture-based character education through a multi-site study at SMA IT Darul Istiqamah Maros and SMAS Buq’atun Mubarakah Makassar. The focus of this research includes the primary character values being developed, the strategies for implementation, and the challenges encountered. This research utilizes a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study included school principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study show that both schools focus on developing the character values of being religious, disciplined, independent, and responsible. Implementation strategies are dominated by the instillation of theory, modeling, and structured routine habituation. These strategies are proven effective in shaping student character; however, the implementation faces internal challenges such as the diversity of student backgrounds and the commitment of teachers , as well as external challenges including the influence of outside culture, particularly from gadgets, and a lack of consistent support from parents. This study concludes that the effectiveness of character education is highly dependent on the synergy of internal strategies and the ability to mitigate external challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the positive and negative impacts of the New Student Admission (PPDB) policy based on the zoning system and to analyze the 2025 New Student Admission System (SPMB) policy as a response to the challenges of zoning implementation. The approach used is a literature study based on 43 sources, including scholarly journals, academic articles, theses, and educational regulations from the period 2018–2025. The analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that: (1) The zoning system positively contributes to equal access to education, cost efficiency due to proximity of residence, a more equitable student distribution, and increased community participation. (2) However, the policy also brings negative impacts such as disparities in school quality, manipulation of residential data, weak policy dissemination, and the marginalization of high-achieving students. (3) As a response, the 2025 SPMB policy introduces a more accountable approach through four admission pathways: administrative domicile, affirmative action, academic achievement, and relocation. SPMB also grants greater autonomy to local governments and applies digital verification and integration with the national civil registry (Dukcapil) database. This study concludes that while the zoning system provides a foundation for educational equity, SPMB is expected to address inequalities and promote a fairer and more transparent student admission process.
