Abstract

To improve the discipline of teachers, a brave head of school and forward-thinking is very important to motivate teachers so that teachers in educational institutions are more disciplined. Then a teacher must be cylindrical so that the student can follow the teacher's example. In some cases, researchers observed that the researchers wanted to research how the head of the school's strategy in motivating teachers to improve the discipline of teachers at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This study describes the head of the school's approach to motivating teachers to improve teacher discipline. This research was done at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This research uses qualitative descriptive methodology with a case study approach. The data collection methods used in this study involve the use of observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Activities involved in data analysis include data minimization, data display, and conclusion/verification. The research is located in SMAN 3 Bukitinghigh. Research findings show that the head of school uses six ways to motivate teachers to improve teacher discipline. These strategies include inspiring techniques, leading by example, setting orders, giving supervision, issuing warnings or punishments, and offering incentives.

Abstract

This research is motivated by technological developments and educational institutions must further improve their human resource management. Human Resource Management plays an important role in improving the quality of institutional education, especially Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN). Researchers used descriptive qualitative methodology and the type of research was a case study in the field. To optimize the results, the researchers collected data through observations, interviews, and analysis of relevant documents. The research findings show that human resource management plays an important role in MAN 1 Pariaman City. This is evident from the significant beneficial effects resulting from its implementation. In addition, human resource management at MAN 1 Kota Pariaman is conducted through the application of various management functions, including planning, procurement, construction and development, promotion and transfer, dismissal, compensation, and staff evaluation. MAN 1 Pariaman City implements many strategies to improve human resource productivity. These strategies include providing continuous training and development programs, offering incentives and rewards, and ensuring proper construction and monitoring.

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of teachers' professional skills to improve students' critical thinking skills, especially in the 21st century, where these skills are crucial. This study used a qualitative research method with a literature study approach. The purpose of this study is to see how the application of PAI teachers' professional competence in helping students improve their critical thinking. The results of this study show that teachers' professional competence has a significant impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. However, it was found that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers still do not fully master the material. They also lack creativity in developing learning materials and rarely connect PAI materials with other sciences. Some teachers do not even use learning media at all because they do not have equipment such as projectors, so they use blackboards. Students can become bored and not understand the lesson if there is no learning media

Abstract

Abstrak Guru memiliki tanggung jawab mulia sebagai pendidik. Maka, penting bagi kepala sekolah meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja guru secara konsisten melalui strategi yang tepat dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat upaya pemimpin dalam memotivasi peningkatan kinerja guru dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus, dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara di SDN 09 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepala sekolah memberikan motivasi positif untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan menekankan sifat mulia profesi pengajar, menghindari keluhan, mengapresiasi hubungan positif di antara guru, dan mendorong lingkungan kerja yang menyenangkan. (2) Pendekatan lain adalah memberikan motivasi melalui pengakuan dan penghargaan, memastikan bahwa guru mempertahankan sikap positif, memahami konteks dan budaya, dan mengoptimalkan semua upaya profesional mereka. (3) Kepala sekolah menggunakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru yang berfokus pada mempertahankan keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan yang sehat, merangkul inovasi tanpa takut, secara aktif memotivasi guru, memberikan manfaat yang cukup, dan secara konsisten menawarkan kesempatan untuk pengembangan diri seperti pelatihan, kursus, dan pengembangan profesional lainnya. (4) Guru terlibat dalam pengembangan diri dan mengejar kemajuan profesional. (5) Membangun tim kolaboratif dalam komunitas belajar dengan melibatkan semua peserta. Kesimpulannya, peran kepala sekolah sebagai motivator efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan motivasi dan kinerja guru. Disarankan kepala sekolah terus meningkatkan kemampuan kepemimpinan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi motivasi secara berkala.   Abstrak Teachers have a noble responsibility as educators. So, it is important for school principals to increase teacher motivation and performance consistently through appropriate and effective strategies. This research aims to look at leaders' efforts in motivating improvements in teacher performance using qualitative case study methods, and data collection techniques through observation and interviews at SDN 09 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The research results show that: (1) School principals provide positive motivation to improve teacher performance by emphasizing the noble nature of the teaching profession, avoiding complaints, appreciating positive relationships between teachers, and encouraging a pleasant work environment. (2) Another approach is to provide motivation through recognition and rewards, ensuring that teachers maintain a positive attitude, understand the context and culture, and optimize all their professional efforts. (3) Principals use strategies to improve teacher performance that focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, embracing innovation without fear, actively motivating teachers, providing sufficient benefits, and consistently offering opportunities for self-development such as training, courses, and other professional development. (4) Teachers engage in self-development and pursue professional advancement. (5) Building collaborative teams in learning communities by involving all participants. In conclusion, the role of the principal as an effective motivator in supporting increased teacher motivation and performance. It is recommended that school principals continue to improve their leadership abilities and evaluate the effectiveness of motivation strategies periodically.

Abstract

The background of this research is that teachers often deliver material in the usual way and if they can take advantage of technology and AI while the world has developed, one of which is the development of technology and AI in educational institutions. So educational institutions must follow the development of technology and AI in the teaching and learning process so that the quality of education is good for students, teachers and educational institutions. This is a challenge for educational institutions to change for the better so that utilising technology and AI in the teaching and learning process is a challenge that must be applied in educational institutions. The method in this research is qualitative research, namely: observation, interviews, field observations and obtaining research data in previous research journals that are in accordance with the title that the researcher raises. The results of the research are: teachers or educational institutions have felt and utilised the development of technology and AI in carrying out the learning and teaching process. By utilising AI, there are many conveniences and advantages obtained, one of which makes it easier for teachers and improves the quality of education. So with the development of technology and AI, it is very helpful for education personnel in the learning and teaching process so that the quality of education increases effectively and efficiently. Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu masih sering sekali guru menyampaikan materi dengan cara seperti biasanya dan bila bisa memanfaatkan teknologi dan AI sedangkan dunia sudah berkembang salah satunya yaitu perkembangan teknologi dan AI di lembaga pendidikan. Jadi lembaga pendidikan harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan AI di dalam proses belajar mengajar agar mutu pendidikan baik itu siswa, guru mapun lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Ini tantangan lembaga pendidikan agar berubah ke lebih baik lagi agar memanfaatkan teknologi dan AI di dalam proses belajar mengajar ini adalah sebuah tantangan yang harus diterapkan dilembag pendidikan. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yaitu : observasi, wawancara, pengamatan dilapangan dan mendapatkan data-data penelitian dijurnal penelitian sebelumnya yang sesuai dengan judul yang peneliti angkat. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu: para pagu atau lembaga pendidik sudah merasakan dan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi dan AI dalam melaksanakaan proses belajar dan mengajar. Dengan manfaatkan AI banyak kemudahan dan keuntungna yang didapatkan salah-satunya mempermudah guru dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Jadi dengan adanya pekembangan teknologi dan Ai ini sangatlah mebantu para tenaga pendidikan dalam proses belajar dan mengajar sehingga mutu pendidikan bertamabh meningkat secara efektif dan efesien.

Abstract

One of the goals of Islamic education is to improve human intelligence and enhance the spirituality of each individual. Thus, education can improve the quality of life of each individual. One of the problems faced in the world of education is related to the curriculum which is the heart of educational institutions. The curriculum regulates the course of the education system and as a manager of educational programmers. So, if the curriculum does not have innovations that are in accordance with the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0, the resulting learning cannot improve the ability of students to compete in the industrial revolution 4.0. So, the author conducted research using the literature review research method. The location of this research is MTsN 1 Pariaman. This study found that the Islamic education curriculum, especially at MTsN 1 Pariaman, has sought curriculum innovation to keep up with the times that have developed. Adaptive and responsive Islamic education curriculum by producing various programmers that can support the ability of students to think critically and innovatively, collaborate and have a global outlook. With the development of science and technology, educators, learners and even parents must gain a better understanding of technology, information and communication. Educators should also endeavor to make changes, innovate learning, and adapt their learning to meet the needs of society. The curriculum, more specifically, must always be innovated. This is because curriculum programmers implemented in education can help learners learn and face challenges in the globalized industry 4.0. Abstrak Salah satu tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan manusia dan meningkatkan spiritualitas setiap individu. Dengan demikian pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup setiap individu. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan adalah terkait dengan kurikulum yang merupakan jantung dari lembaga pendidikan. Kurikulum yang mengatur jalannya sistem pendidikan dan sebagai pengelola program pendidikan. Sehingga jika kurikulum tidak memiliki inovasi yang sesuai dengan tantangan revolusi industri 4.0, maka pembelajaran yang dihasilkan tidak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik untuk bersaing dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Maka, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kajian literatur. Lokasi penelitian ini di MTsN 1 Pariaman. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa kurikulum pendidikan Islam khususnya di MTsN 1 Pariaman telah mengupayakan inovasi kurikulum agar mengikuti perkembangan zaman yang telah berkembang. kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang adaptif dan responsif dengan menghasilkan berbagai program yang dapat mendukung kemampuan peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis dan inovatif, berkolaborasi dan berwawasan global. Dengan perkembangan IPTEK, pendidik, peserta didik, dan bahkan orang tua harus memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang teknologi, informasi, dan komunikasi. Para pendidik juga harus berusaha untuk melakukan perubahan, melakukan inovasi pembelajaran, dan menyesuaikan pembelajaran mereka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Kurikulum lebih spesifik, harus selalu diinovasikan. Ini karena program kurikulum yang diterapkan dalam pendidikan dapat membantu peserta didik belajar dan menghadapi tantangan dalam industri 4.0 yang global.

Abstract

The evaluation of Islamic education programs is entrusted to the school principal, with the aim of achieving the educational goals desired by the institution. However, leaders often do not understand their evaluation functions and methods. This study aims to examine the implementation of educational program evaluation at MTsN 1 Kota Pariaman. The study specifically focuses on three aspects: the principal's responsibilities and limitations, and the structure of program assessment. The research method used is qualitative, using a descriptive approach. Data collection involved the use of observations, interviews, and literature study. Data analysis involved the process of collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the data. The research findings show that the principal's main responsibilities in evaluating educational programs are to develop an evaluation program, collect information from various sources, assess the assessment results, implement improvements based on the assessment findings involving teachers, students, parents, and promote a positive perception of evaluation as a means of improvement. Program evaluation takes two different forms: normal evaluation and evaluation based on Islamic principles. Challenges include limited resources, time restrictions, and lack of collaboration with external entities. Abstrak Evaluasi program pendidikan Islam dipercayakan kepada kepala sekolah, dengan tujuan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan oleh lembaga tersebut. Namun, sering kali pemimpin tidak memahami fungsi dan metode evaluasi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa pelaksanaan evaluasi program pendidikan di MTsN 1 Kota Pariaman. Studi ini secara khusus berfokus pada tiga aspek: tanggung jawab dan batasan kepala sekolah, serta struktur penilaian program. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melibatkan penggunaan observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data melibatkan proses mengumpulkan, mengurangi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggung jawab utama kepala sekolah dalam mengevaluasi program pendidikan adalah untuk mengembangkan program evaluasi, mengumpulkan informasi dari berbagai sumber, menilai hasil penilaian, menerapkan perbaikan berdasarkan temuan penilaian melibatkan guru, siswa, orang tua, dan mempromosikan persepsi positif evaluasi sebagai sarana peningkatan. Evaluasi program mengambil dua bentuk yang berbeda: evaluasi normal dan evaluasi didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. Tantangan termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya, pembatasan waktu, dan kurangnya kolaborasi dengan entitas eksternal.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for planning the procurement of facilities and infrastructure, because the madrasah has submitted proposals to receive assistance but not all of them have provided the expected results, resulting in a less than ideal learning environment due to inadequate facilities and infrastructure. There is still room for improvement in all aspects of facilities and infrastructure management, from initial inventory to final disposal. Therefore, there is room for development in the system used to oversee the operation of infrastructure and facilities. The purpose of the study was to identify and describe the factors that influence the development of infrastructure and services in the Sungai Rambah mountain range of Padang Pariaman Regency, including factors that encourage and hinder development. The analytical scriptural method was used to conduct this qualitative research. Interviews, field notes, and archival research were used to collect this data. Quantitative data analysis methods were not used to present information obtained from words, pictures, and actions. Applying for government assistance to plan facilities and infrastructure, purchasing facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the planning of facilities and infrastructure, using and maintaining facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the needs of students, conducting an annual inventory according to the provisions of the data, and abolishing goods in a timely manner depend on c. Based on these findings, schools are encouraged to prioritise the placement of student facilities to ensure the highest level of satisfaction among its customers.
