Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Kemampuan Bahasa Arab Melalui Gerak Lagu Asmaul Husna Pada Kelompok B di TK IT Mutiara Umat Jogorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah anak-anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Mutiara Umat Jogorogo berjumlah 16 anak, 5 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa keberhasilan penerapan kegiatan gerak lagu Asmaul Husna dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Arab anak kelompok B di TK IT Mutiara Umat Jogorogo. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan karakter anak kelompok B, dan hasilnya menunjukkan respon baik dari anak-anak serta peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Arab mereka. Melalui tindakan penerapan dalam setiap siklus, terlihat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam tingkat ketuntasan belajar, dengan presentase meningkat dari 31% pada Prasiklus menjadi 87,5% pada Siklus II, yang semuanya termasuk dalam kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low population of male early childhood school teachers which results in a low level of masculine roles for children while they are at school. Community assessment of male early childhood school teachers is an inseparable part of the high and low population of male early childhood school teachers in early childhood school units. In line with that, this research aims to look at the public's perception of male PAUD teachers in Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. By knowing the public's perception of male early childhood school teachers, it is hoped that this research can be a stimulus to increase the presence of male teachers in early childhood school units. The approach taken in this research is a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. The research tool used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data was processed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that the community has a positive perception of the presence of male early childhood school teachers, the community considers that male early childhood school teachers can act as masculine figurs and act as substitutes for fathers while their children are at school. The community also considers that male early childhood school teachers have quite challenges as professional early childhood school teachers. Ultimately, the community hopes that there will be an increase in the population of early childhood school teachers in early childhood school units, especially Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City.

Abstract

Enhancing STEM literacy in elementary education is becoming increasingly imperative to address global challenges and technology advancements that require critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills from a young age. The theme and project-based learning (PjBL) approach employed in elementary classrooms demonstrates promise for the integration of STEM elements. Nevertheless, educators' comprehension of this methodology is constrained, and institutional support is suboptimal. This study seeks to examine the perspectives of educators and administrators concerning the opportunities for applying STEM-based learning models in primary schools, while also identifying existing educational practices that may facilitate STEM integration. The research employed an exploratory qualitative methodology, utilizing in-depth interviews and participant observation across various public and private primary schools. The findings indicate that educators possess favorable views of the STEM methodology and have adopted thematic learning approaches that implicitly incorporate STEM components, albeit in an unstructured manner. The primary supporting variables consist of teacher inventiveness and student excitement, whereas the principal impediments are inadequate training, facilities, and curriculum guidelines. The findings underscore the necessity of creating a contextual, adaptable STEM paradigm tailored to the peculiarities of elementary school kids, supported by teacher training and collaboration among educational partners.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital flipbook picture storybook titled “Where Is Bibi Hiding?” as an interactive learning media to enhance early childhood reading skills. The research was conducted at TK PKK Maguwoharjo and employed the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The digital flipbook was created using Canva and Heyzine Flipbook, focusing on readability, visual attractiveness, and age-appropriate content for children aged 5–6 years. The one-group pretest–posttest design was used to analyze the effectiveness of the media. The results show that the digital flipbook successfully increased children’s motivation to read, improved letter recognition, and supported word comprehension. Teachers also reported that the media encouraged more active participation and engagement during learning activities. Overall, the digital flipbook picture storybook is considered feasible, practical, and beneficial as a learning media for early childhood reading development.
