Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus, which has taken place since 2019, has resulted in several activities that are usually carried out in person or face to face to go online. The transition from offline learning to online learning requires teachers or students to have supporting tools to connect. This study aimed to analyze online learning supporting tools and student achievement and determine the effect of online learning supporting tools on student achievement at SD Negeri 12 Malacca during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses ex-post facto techniques and a quantitative approach. Participants in this trial were students of grades IV, V, and VI, totaling 30 students. Purposive sampling was used to collect samples for this study. The information collected is through surveys and documentation. Before the data analysis test, prerequisite analysis tests, normality, and linearity tests were first carried out. The results of the normality test show that the data is normally distributed. Then, the results of the linearity test show that there is a direct correlation between student achievement and online learning support tools. Based on the hypothesis test results, it was found that the online learning supporting tools variable significantly influenced the student achievement variable. It was concluded that online learning supporting tools could improve student achievement.

Abstract

Jenis Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian Pre-eksperimental design dengan model One-group preteset-posttetst. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui gambaran penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz dalam proses pembelajaran PPKn Kelas IV SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar; (2) Mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar Siswa pada mata Pelajaran PPKnKelas IV SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar?. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 47 orang siswakelas IVA dan IVB di SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar. Adapun sampel yang digunakansebanyak 24 siswakelas IVB SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis diolah dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran PPKn berada pada kategori sangat baik, dan keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan siswa berada pada kategori baik. Hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi perlakuan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai probabilitas lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran PPKn kelas IV SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto yang bertujuan mengetahui adanya nya pengaruh kedisiplinan siswa dan perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Kelas V SD sekecamatan Tobadak kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian adalahseluruh siswa Kelas V SD sekecamatan Tobadak kabupaten Mamuju Tengah yangberjumlah 60 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah gambaran kedisiplinan siswa menunjukkan kategori tinggi, perhatian orang tua siswa menunjukkan kategori tinggi dan prestasi belajar siswa dapat digambarkan pada dokumentasi nilai rapor yang diperoleh siswa serta kedisiplinan siswa dan perhatian orang tua berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa khususnya di Kelas V SD sekecamatan Tobadak kabupaten Mamuju Tengah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi lingkungan alam yang belum dimaksimalkan pemanfaatannya sebagai media dan sumber belajar. Tujuan utama dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai media dan sumber belajar pada komunitas Guru Pencinta Alam (Gurila). Metode yang digunakan pada program pengabdian ini meliputi dua tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Pada tahap persiapan dimulai dari observasi awal dan studi pendahuluan lokasi pengabdian pelatihan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan meliputi orientasi dan observasi; workshop, praktik pemanfaatan lingkungan alam, implementasi pemanfaatan lingkungan alam, dan  evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam program pengabdian ini adalah komunitas Gurila, serta tim pengabdian. Hasil utama dari program ini adalah peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan terkait pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai media dan sumber belajar pada komunitas Gurila. Program ini juga menciptakan pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru bagi para anggota komunitas agar dapat saling berbagi kepada guru-guru lain yang tidak tergabung pada komunitas Gurila. Program ini berkontribusi pada upaya peningkatan kualitas belajar yang bermakna dan menyenangkan bagi siswa, serta memberikan contoh sinergitas kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat lokal dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam kemajuan pendidikan di berbagai daerah.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the description of learning interest, the use of learning media of class V students of SDN 127 Inpres Moncongloe before and after using powtoon learning media? and is there a significant influence of the use of powtoon learning media on the learning interest of class V students of SDN 127 Inpres Moncongloe?. This study is an experimental study that aims to determine the description of interest, use of media and the influence of the use of learning media on the learning interest of class V students of SDN 127 Inpres Moncongloe, Moncongloe district, Maros regency. The research approach is a quantitative approach. Research data were obtained through tests and questionnaires. The population in the study were all class V students at SDN 127 Inpres Moncongloe, Moncongloe district, Maros regency, totaling 49 students. The sample in the study was 49 students. The data analysis technique was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study are a picture before the use of learning media shows a low category and after the implementation of the use of learning media shows a very high category and interest in learning can be described in the results of the questionnaire obtained, namely in the pretest getting a high score while in the posttest getting a high score and the use of learning media has a significant effect on students' interest in learning, especially in Class V SDN 127 Inpres Moncongloe, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency.

Abstract

Abstract: Thematic learning with a scientific approach is being implemented in elementary schools. This approach highlights integrated and comprehensive learning on specific topics or themes, using the scientific method as the foundation for learning. This study aims to analyze teachers' perceptions of thematic learning with a scientific approach in elementary schools. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with teachers from upper-grade classes, specifically grades 4, 5, and 6, in 10 clusters of Mariorawa District Gugus 26 Primary Schools in Soppeng Regency as the subjects. The data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires based on the topic. The results indicate that teachers' knowledge, thinking abilities, and emotional responses fall into the 'very good' category. However, the aspect of teachers' experience falls into the 'good' category. Therefore, this research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective policies and learning programs and to improve student learning outcomes. Abstrak: Pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan saintifik merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan ini menitik beratkan pada pembelajaran yang terpadu dan komprehensif pada suatu topik atau tema tertentu, dengan menggunakan metode saintifik sebagai landasan pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan saintifik di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru pada kelas tingkat tinggi yaitu kelas 4, 5, dan 6 pada 10 kelompok Sekolah Dasar Gugus 26 Kecamatan Mariorawa Kabupaten Soppeng. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner sesuai topik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aspek pengetahuan, kemampuan berpikir, dan perasaan guru berkategori sangat baik. Namun, aspek pengalaman guru berkategori baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membuat kebijakan dan program pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential and well-established skill for meeting workers' demands in the 21st century. In today's era, teaching and training students in critical thinking skills, even from elementary school, is essential. However, there are still many students who have low critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze and describe the effect of the effectiveness of high-level questions in developing students' critical thinking skills in elementary schools. The research method used a one-group pretest and posttest experimental design, which was carried out in three elementary schools. The population of this study was three teachers and 102 students. Instruments in this quantitative research include questionnaires, observations, and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis and inferential statistics. The study results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the students obtained from the results of studying the high-level questions. Second, high-level questions are practical for developing elementary school students critical thinking skills. It is concluded that high-order questions can improve critical thinking skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The aim was to determine the effectiveness of the Jarimatika method on fifth-grade students’ learning motivation in fraction multiplication at Al Bayyinah Islamic Elementary School Makassar. A total of 50 students were selected as samples through cluster random sampling. Data were collected through tests, teacher and student observations, and learning motivation questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the Jarimatika method was implemented very well and significantly increased students’ learning motivation (sig. 0.000 < 0.05), particularly in the aspect of learning interest. Therefore, the Jarimatika method is effective in enhancing students' motivation to learn, especially in learning mathematics on the topic of fraction multiplication.

Abstract

This research analyzes the effect of using smart wheel media on the beginning reading skills of first-grade students at SD Bina Kasih, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The study aims to describe the use of smart wheel media on first-grade students' beginning reading skills, to describe their beginning reading skills before and after the implementation of smart wheel media, and to determine the effect of using smart wheel media on the beginning reading skills of first-grade students. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental research design in the form of a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The sample used in this research was first-grade students at SD Bina Kasih, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The data collection techniques employed in this study were observation and tests. For data analysis, both descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis were used, with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 30. The results of this study indicate that the description of using smart wheel media on first-grade students' beginning reading skills falls into the very good category. Similarly, the description of first-grade students' beginning reading skills is also in the very good category. Furthermore, there is a proven significant positive effect of using smart wheel media on the beginning reading skills of first-grade students, as demonstrated by hypothesis testing using the t-test formula with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics version 30.)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the intensity of social media use, the level of social interaction, and the relationship between the intensity of social media use and social interaction among fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Tidung, Makassar City. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a non-experimental correlational research design. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations distributed to a sample of 67 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that the intensity of social media use among students was relatively high, with most students actively using social media in their daily lives, particularly applications such as WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Meanwhile, the students' level of social interaction was categorized as moderate, indicating that their ability to interact directly was fairly good, although some students tended to be more active virtually than in face-to-face interactions. Inferential analysis revealed a strong positive relationship between the intensity of social media use and students’ social interaction. This means that the higher the intensity of students’ social media use, the higher their level of social interaction, both directly and indirectly through the social media platforms used by fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Tidung, Makassar City.
