Abstract

Japanese language education in Indonesia, particularly in industrial areas such as Cilegon and Serang, is increasingly in demand as the need for a workforce with proficiency in Japanese grows. Zai Japan Training and Course Center (LKP) in Serang plays a vital role in preparing students to be ready for employment in Japanese companies. To enhance the effectiveness of learning, LKP Zai Japan applies a practice-based method that includes daily reporting in Japanese, the use of Japanese in dormitory life, work practice, and communication simulations in various real-life situations. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the practice-based method in Japanese language learning and its impact on students' language competencies. A qualitative approach with observation and interviews was used to collect data. Observations were made directly in the classroom learning process and social interactions among students, while semi-structured interviews were conducted with the managers and teachers of LKP Zai Japan. The results show that the practice-based method significantly contributes to improving students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The use of Japanese in daily life accelerates students' language competency development. However, there are challenges such as limited facilities, the lack of qualified Japanese language instructors, and varying levels of student motivation. This study offers recommendations for LKP Zai Japan managers in designing a curriculum that better aligns with industry needs and improving the effectiveness of practice-based learning, in order to create a more competent workforce ready to meet the demands of the job market.

Abstract

Ekowisata mangrove merupakan salah satu bentuk pariwisata berkelanjutan yang menggabungkan konservasi lingkungan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan Ekowisata Mangrove Ketapang Urban Aquculture yang terletak di Desa Ketapang, Kecamatan Mauk, Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengolala dan masyarakat serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitihan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelkasanaan ekowisata telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap pelestarian lingkungan dan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar. Namun terdapat bebebrapa kendala seperti keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dan promosi yang belum maksimal. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk penguatan kapasitas pada lembaga, perbaikan infrastruktur dan strategi pemasaran digital yang terintegrasi.

Abstract

Education is an important factor in building an intelligent nation. Through educators, it becomes a conscious human effort to enhance knowledge, skills, and even personality development. The aim of this research is to instill religious values in early childhood at TPQ Insan Robbani Al-Fikri, Tangerang City, through the role of educators as facilitators and parents as role models. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. This research was conducted at TPQ Insan Robbani Al-Fikri in Kp. Karang Anyar, Neglasari Sub-district, Tangerang City. The results of this research show that educators who act as facilitators have five indicators of success: (1) the provision of learning tools has been adequately implemented, (2) the availability of learning facilities, including methods, media, and equipment, is fairly complete, (3) educators act as companions to students, (4) educators fulfill their duties and functions in accordance with regulations, and (5) educators do not act arbitrarily towards students. Thus, the role of educators as facilitators and the role of parents as effective role models contribute significantly to shaping the religious character of early childhood, particularly in aspects of worship, prayer, and behavior in accordance with religious teachings.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya alam harus diikuti dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat terutama dari sektor pariwisata. Dalam hal ini, masyarakat didorong untuk memiliki kemampuan sesuai potensi mandiri, melalui berbagai kegiatan pemberdayaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis desa wisata untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Kegiatannya berupa mendapatkan data secara ilmiah dan permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa tahapan pemberdayaan perempuan pada program berbasis desa wisata yaitu lapak kuliner berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan upaya yang telah dilakukan dimulai dari proses awal persiapan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi program dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Kampung Bekelir.

Abstract

Indonesia's advantages in carrying out agriculture are both economic and basic needs of life. In Indonesia itself, it has been proven that there will be 40.64 million workers in the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors in 2023. This research aims to describe (1) the community empowerment carried out by Sasahan village through an agroforestry-based program (2) the results of farming activities from the agroforestry-based community empowerment program for the Sasahan village community. The approach used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that (1) Community Empowerment carried out by Sasahan Village through the Agroforestry Based Program in Sasahan Village is that the agroforestry farming system can be used to optimize agricultural fields while preserving nature. The agroforestry program is important to implement in the Sasahan Village area. (2) Farming results from the Agroforestry-Based Community Empowerment Program for the Sasahan Village Community, the economic dimension has increased, and are categorized as sustainable. Sasahan Village is willing to implement agroforestry, and is categorized as sustainable, from the aspects of production, distribution and consumption being the main factors for economic improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the various obstacles faced in the implementation of non-formal education learning programs at the Learning Activity Center (SKB) of Serang City. The method applied in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type, through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation involving the head of SKB, pamong belajar, and administrative staff. The research findings reveal that there are a number of significant obstacles, including: (1) limited number of educators or learning assistants, (2) less than optimal mastery of subject matter by learning assistants, (3) low competence of education personnel in designing programs, and (4) limited operational budget allocations for the implementation of learning programs. These constraints affect the effectiveness of the program and the quality of education services provided to the community. This study recommends the need to increase the number of teaching staff, organize training for learning assistants, and increase budget allocations to support the sustainability of non-formal education programs at SKB Serang City.
