Abstract

This article discusses the role of administrative officers in maintaining the quality of correspondence management at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. Effective and efficient correspondence management is an important aspect in school operations, because correspondence functions as an official communication tool that documents various activities and decisions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with administrative officers, direct observation and document analysis. The research results show that administrative officers at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan have a very vital role in managing the entire correspondence process, starting from receiving, recording, storing, to distributing letters. They are responsible for ensuring that every incoming and outgoing letter is managed well, according to established procedures, and neatly documented. Good quality of correspondence management is reflected in accuracy, timeliness and regularity in document archiving. Administrative officers also play a role in maintaining the confidentiality of information, preventing loss or damage to documents, and ensuring that important documents are available when needed. The implementation of information technology in correspondence management also supports the efficiency and effectiveness of their work, although there are still challenges in terms of training and adaptation to new systems. In conclusion, administrative officers play a key role in maintaining the quality of correspondence management at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. They ensure that the correspondence process runs smoothly and supports overall school operational activities. Therefore, increasing the competency of administrative officers and using appropriate technology is very necessary to continue to improve the quality of correspondence management in this educational institution.

Abstract

The use of information technology has changed the way we carry out various aspects of life, including in the education sector. In this digital era, the use of news technology in educational planning management has brought considerable changes and various benefits. This study aims to determine how the influence of the use of information technology in the management of educational planning to increase educational efficiency. The research method used is the library research method, which involves collecting data and information from various sources of literature that are relevant to the research topic. This research will identify and analyze various challenges and obstacles in the use of information technology in educational planning management and the solutions offered to overcome them. In addition, this study will also analyze the impact of using information technology in increasing educational efficiency. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the potential use of information technology in increasing educational efficiency and its benefits. The findings of this study are expected to be the basis for decision making and strategic planning in the implementation of information technology in education management, with the ultimate goal of improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This abstract discusses the importance of synergy in empowering students to serve for change. Synergy here refers to close collaboration between various parties, such as universities, governments, and communities, to create an environment that supports and facilitates the role of students in community service. This article will examine how these synergies can increase the impact of student service, encourage social innovation, and create positive change in various fields. It is hoped that this abstract can provide an initial overview of the importance of synergy in empowering students to serve for change and encourage further research in this field.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen kelas oleh guru. Supervisi akademik yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan mampu membantu guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran, mengelola interaksi kelas, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara terhadap beberapa tenaga pendidik, ditemukan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dan berbasis pada kebutuhan nyata guru memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas. Supervisi tidak hanya menjadi alat kontrol, tetapi juga menjadi sarana pembinaan profesional yang mendorong guru untuk merefleksikan praktik pengajarannya. Dengan demikian, peran supervisi akademik sangat strategis dalam mendukung terciptanya manajemen kelas yang efektif dan berorientasi pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.
