Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami jenis, makna dan fungsi idiom dalam bahasa Bugis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari percakapan sehari-hari, teks lagu dan video berbahasa Bugis. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa idiom bahasa Bugis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teknik simak libat cakap, kemudian mencatat hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan idiom. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan terdapat 38 idiom yang diklasifikasikan dalam dua jenis yaitu idiom penuh dan idiom sebagian. Makna idiom penuh sulit untuk diidentifikasi sedangkan makna idiom sebagian masih dapat telusuri dari makna leksikalnya dan unsur kata yang membentuknya. Idiom bahasa Bugis berfungsi untuk untuk memperhalus ucapan, mengekspresikan perasaan, sebagai sindiran, pujian, julukan, nasihat, dan penegasan dalam suatu pernyataan. Dalam penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan agar menemukan lebih banyak data dalam upaya penyusunan kamus idiom bahasa Bugis sebagai bentuk pelestarian bahasa daerah dan menjaga eksistensi bahasa Bugis di kalangan generasi muda.

Abstract

Islamic civilization during the Ayyubid dynasty is very important to study, especially the development of Sunni because Sunni is a form of school that became Shalahuddin's first policy to replace Shia at that time. This paper aims to discuss concrete forms of Sunni development during the Ayyubid dynasty, factors of Sunni development, and the impacts of its development. The type of research used was library research, the data were obtained from previous literature so that data collection technique used was documentation. This study found, first, the form of Sunni development began with the change of schools of thought from Shia to Sunni, the incessant development of madrasas, the prohibition on using books left by the Fatimids and the elimination of the sentence Hayya Ála Khairi Amal at the call to prayer; second, Sunni development was caused by internal factors such as the founding of the Ayyubid dynasty and Shalahuddin's Sunni background. Apart from these factors, Sunni development was also caused by external factors, namely, the majority of the world's Muslims are Sunnis and the dualism of the Shiites in Egypt; and third, the impact of Sunni developments on education, in which many madrassas were built and the reactivation of the Azhar mosque into a Sunni-based university.

Abstract

In an effort to improve the quality of education, various ways are taken, such as curriculum changes that adjust to the needs of students, the demands of society, and the times. One of them is the development of an independent learning curriculum. The world of education today does not only require cognitive abilities but also requires creativity that makes students more productive. Therefore, this research aims to examine the implementation of the independent curriculum towards the development of students' creativity. This research uses a type of library research through a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study uses documentation techniques in the form of notes, transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines, inscriptions, minutes, research results, and so on. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive methods. The results showed that the form of implementing an independent curriculum in elementary schools is the utilization of technology, preparation of learning tools, implementation of learning strategies that are in accordance with interests and talents, and learning is adapted to the situation and conditions of the environment, as well as local wisdom, socio-economics and providing space for students to learn collaboratively. So it can be understood that the implementation of an independent curriculum has an impact on increasing the creativity of students to produce innovations in education

Abstract

إن الصوات جزء أساسي من اللغة العربية وله دور مهم في فهم الرسالة والتواصل الصحيح. يهدف البحث إلى معرفة علم الأصوات، وفوائد دراستها واستراتيجيات تعلمها وتطوير مواد تعليم الأصوات في تعلم اللغة العربية. المدخل المستخدم في هذا البحث هو المدخل الكيفي بنوع الدراسة المكتبية. تم جمع البيانات باستخدام تقنية الوثائق عن طريق البحث عن كتب ومقالات وتقارير بحثية، وتم تحليلها باستخدام تقنية تحليل المحتوى. أما نتائج البحث أن الأصوات هي إحدى عناصر تعلم اللغة العربية المهمة في فهم وتوصيل الرسالة الصحيحة. عندما يتمكن المتعلمون من إتقان عناصر أصوات، سيكونون قادرين على نطق الكلمات بشكل صحيح والتعبير عن أنفسهم بوضوح. إن دراسة علوم الأصوات قادرة على تحسين القدرة على التحدث، وفهم ونطق الأصوات بشكل صحيح، وتحسين الفهم للتواصل اللغوي. وأما أهداف تعليم الأصوات في تعليم العربية بناءً على نوع تعليم اللغة أي تعليم المعيارى والتعليم المنهخ والتعليم الوصفي. يحتاج المعلمون إلى اختيار المواد المناسبة مع مستوى قدرة الطلاب والاهتمام باحتياجاتهم في تطوير مواد أصوات العربية. تكون المواد التعليمية في شكل تسجيلات صوتية أو حوارات أو نصوص مكتوبة أو مواد وسائط متعددة أخرى تعرض بوضوح أصوات اللغة العربية.

Abstract

Literature becomes part of a cultural entity whose practice is reflected in literary works. Along with the times, the existence of Arabic literature spread to various continents including Southeast Asia. Arabic literature is one of the supporting factors in the spread of Islam, especially in Southeast Asia. The purpose of this research is to understand the existence of Arabic literature and its forms in the Southeast Asian region. This research uses a type of library research through a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study were secondary, namely articles, books, and research reports on Arabic literature in the Southeast Asian region. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using a descriptive method by describing findings related to the existence and forms of Arabic literature in the Southeast Asian region. The results of the study show that the history of Islamization in Southeast Asia has left behind a wealth of written texts, both literary and religious, in large numbers. The use of Malay Arabic script in several countries in Southeast Asia is a reflection that Arabic literature exists in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

Homonyms of Bugis Language in Philosophy of Life of The Bugis People ABSTRAKFalsafah Bugis selain sarat dengan unsur etika dan moralitas juga mengandung nilai sastra yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bentuk-bentuk kosakata homonim pada falsafah Bugis dan memahami penggunaan kosakata homonim dalam interaksi masyarakat Bugis. Studi ini menerapkan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data utama yang digunakan adalah video-video di platform Youtube dan artikel-artikel yang berhubungan dengan kutipan-kutipan falsafah Bugis. Selain itu, data sekunder yang digunakan meliputi buku, artikel jurnal, dan penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan dengan topik penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak-catat yang selanjutnya dianalis dengan cara mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, mendeskripsikan dan menyimpulkan kosakata homonim pada falsafah hidup masyarakat Bugis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk kosakata homonim pada falsafah Bugis, yaitu berbentuk homograf dan homofon. Homograf adalah hubungan makna di mana terdapat dua kata atau lebih dengan pengejaan yang serupa namun memiliki arti yang berbeda. Sedangkan homofon adalah dua kata atau lebih yang dilafalkan secara serupa, tetapi memiliki penulisan dan makna yang berbeda. Kosakata homonim tersebut tidak hanya digunakan pada kalimat falsafah Bugis tetapi juga sering digunakan dalam percakapan sehari-hari.Kata kunci: Filosofi Bugis, HomonimABSTRACTBesides being full of elements of ethics and morality, Bugis philosophy also contains the high literary value. This study aims to understand the forms of homonymous vocabulary in Bugis philosophy and to understand the use of homonymous vocabulary in the interaction of Bugis society. This study applies a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources used are videos on the Youtube platform and articles related to quotes on Bugis philosophy. In addition, the secondary data used includes books, journal articles, and previous studies that are relevant to this research topic. The data collection technique used was the note-taking technique which was then analyzed by identifying, classifying, describing, and concluding homonymous vocabulary in the philosophy of life of the Bugis people. The results of the study show that there are two forms of homonymous vocabulary in Bugis philosophy, namely homographs, and homophones. A homograph is a relationship of meaning where there are two or more words with similar spelling but different meanings. Whereas homophones are two or more words that are pronounced similarly, but have different writing and meanings. The homonym vocabulary is not only used in Bugis philosophical sentences but is also often used in daily conversation.Keyword: Bugis philosophy, HomonymFilosofi Bugis, Homonim

Abstract

Differences in writing abilities between students encourage teachers to design or have special assessment tools to evaluate the development of their abilities. Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School applies portfolio assessment as an assessment instrument in the Tahsin kitabah subject. So, this research aims to determine the form of portfolio assessment used in Tahsin kitabah lessons, the steps for portfolio assessment, and their impact on tahsin kitabah learning at the Al-Hidayah Karangploso cottage. This research is qualitative descriptive research, where the data collection process is done through interviews and documentation. The data analysis goes through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research indicate that the form of portfolio assessment used in the Tahsin kitabah subject at the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School is an evaluative portfolio because it emphasizes assessment and reflection carried out in a formative and summative manner. The portfolio assessment steps in the Tahsin kitabah subject consist of three main stages. The preparation stage includes identifying learning objectives, explaining them to students, and clarifying portfolio components. The Implementation Stage involves teacher encouragement, discussion of learning progress, and continuous feedback. At the Assessment Stage, criteria are determined with students, applied consistently, and emphasize self-assessment. The impact includes teachers' in-depth understanding of students' writing abilities, increased motivation, self-confidence, and active learning participation. This shows that the implementation of portfolio assessment at the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School has proven to be effective in achieving Tahsin kitabah’s learning objectives.

Abstract

إن اللغة لها دورا مهما في حياة الإنسان كوسيلة للتواصل والتفاعل لنقل والتعبير عن أفكارهم التي لها سمات أو خصائص فريدة لا تشترك فيها اللغات الأخرى. كعنصر ديناميكي، يتم تحليل اللغة دائما باستخدام مجموعة متنوعة من الأساليب. أحد الأساليب التي يمكن استخدامها هو نهج المعنى. علم الدلالة هو دراسة لغوية تدرس المعنى. المعنى له غرض نقل معنى في محادثة معينة. بحيث مع معنى البشر يمكن أن تفسر بشكل مختلف وفقا للفهم الذي سيتم نقله من خلال الكلمات والجمل. في واقع المجتمع غالبا ما يتم احتواء المعنى في كلمات الأغنية لأنه في كل كلمة أو جملة في كلمات الأغنية لها فكرة ومعنى وشعور يعبر عنه المخرج في الأغنية كما سنناقش وهي كلمات غناء Casablanca.تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل نوع المعنى الوارد في كلمات غناء "Casablanca" باستخدام مقاربة دلالية. يستخدم هذا البحث نوعا وصفيا نوعيا من البحوث. تظهر نتائج هذه الدراسة أن نوع المعنى الوارد في كلمات أغنية "Casablanca" هو المعنى الأساسي والمعنى المجازي. تم العثور على المعاني المعجمية لديها ما يصل إلى ثمانية معان في حين أن المعاني التصويرية لها ما يصل إلى أربعة معان.

Abstract

Arabic writing skills at the higher education level were still experiencing stagnation, which required efforts to improve learning. This research was presented as an exploration of overcoming this problem. This research aimed to describe the application of the Translate Self-Review (TSR) method based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in arabic writing learning in higher education along with students' perceptions of this learning. This research used qualitative-descriptive method, and data was collected through questionnaire, observations, and documentation, then it was analyzed using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques. This research results highlighted that although there was a positive response from students towards the use of this method in creating an enjoyable learning experience and facilitating cross-cultural relationships, there was still a gap between theory and practice, indicating obstacles in improving Arabic writing skills in elementary-level inclusive classes. This research underlined the importance of adapting learning methods that were more appropriate to students' level of understanding and extending them to higher levels of education to obtain a more holistic picture. The TSR method based CRT approach offered potential in creating an inclusive learning environment, but needed modification to effectively meet the needs of diverse learners and improve Arabic writing skills at the higher education level.

Abstract

The history of Islamic civilization during the Ottoman Empire (1299-1922 AD) is important to study because the Ottoman Empire was the largest Islamic Daulah and ruled for a long time throughout history. The purpose of this writing is to understand three main aspects: firstly, to comprehend the development of calligraphy art during the Ottoman Empire era; secondly, to explore the factors contributing to the advancement of calligraphy art; and thirdly, to analyze the implications of this progress. The research method employed in this study is the historical method. The sources used in this research consist of books and journals related to the history of the Ottoman Empire. This writing resulted in three things. First, the form of Ottoman Empire calligraphy in the form of Al-Qur'an writing, ornaments on religious buildings, and the establishment of a calligraphy school. Second, the factors for the advancement of calligraphy are religious enthusiasm, support from leaders, and love for calligraphy. Third, the implications of the art of calligraphy are the emergence of a new style of calligraphy, Istanbul being the center of Islamic calligraphy, and calligraphy can be used as a medium for learning mathematics. The research is expected to contribute to the implementation of the art of calligraphy as a worldly reflection on the word and to contribute thoughts to the development of Islamic calligraphy.Sejarah peradaban Islam pada masa Turki Usmani (1299 M-1922 M) sangat penting untuk dikaji karena Turki Usmani merupakan Daulah Islam terbesar dan cukup lama berkuasa sepanjang sejarah. Tujuan tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memahami tiga hal yaitu ingin memahami perkembangan bentuk seni kaligrafi pada era Turki Usmani, faktor penyebab kemajuan seni kaligrafi dan implikasi kemajuan seni kaligrafi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah metode historis. Sumber-sumber yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penelitian sejarah Kekaisaran Utsmaniyah. Tulisan ini menghasilkan tiga hal, Pertama, wujud kaligrafi Turki Usmani berupa penulisan Al-Qur’an, ornamen pada bangunan keagamaan, dan didirikannya sekolah kaligrafi. Kedua, faktor kemajuan kaligrafi yaitu semangat keagamaan, dukungan dari pemimpin, dan kecintaan terhadap kaligrafi. Ketiga, implikasi seni kaligrafi yaitu munculnya gaya baru kaligrafi, Istanbul menjadi pusat kaligrafi Islam, kaligrafi dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengimplementasian seni kaligrafi sebagai refleksi duniawi atas firman serta memberikan sumbangan pemikiran dalam pengembangan kaligrafi Islam.
