Abstract

Pemerintah meluncurkan program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan Anak Sekolah (PMT AS) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi anak sekolah secara nasional. Pada tahun 2018, Kabupaten Kulon Progo melaksanakan program PMT AS yang bersumber dana dari APBD Kabupaten Kulon Progo di 6 sekolah dasar. Dalam sebuah program baru, indikator implementasi utama yang penting untuk dievaluasi salah satunya adalah akseptabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknikpurposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metodein-depth interview dan focus group discussion. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber, member checking, dan peer debriefing. Akseptabilitas pemangku kebijakan Kabupaten Kulon Progo terhadap program PMT-AS ini baik, mereka mendukung dan berkomitmen penuh dalam melaksanakan program ini, dibuktikan dengan adanya persetujuan program, anggaran, dan dibentuknya tim pelaksana program.

Abstract

Menurut data World Health Organitation (2020), 45% balita terkait dengan kekurangan gizi. Masalah gizi berdampak pada penurunan kualitas SDM yang berakibat kegagalan pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan mental dan kecerdasan, menurunnya produktivitas, meningkatnya kesakitan serta kematian balita. Optimalisasi penanganan masalah gizi pada balita dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan formula makanan tambahan dengan mempertimbangkan aspek gizi, manfaat kesehatan, daya terima dan tahan serta keunggulan sumber daya pangan lokal. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini menciptakan inovasi olahan PMT dari pembuatan surimi ikan talang (Scomberoides iysan) kemudian di buat bebagai olahan produk invoasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi,diskusi dan demontrasi,pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kantor PKK, Desa Tideng Pale,Kecamatan Sesayap,Kabupaten Tana Tidung. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu menghasilakan berbagai olahan produk surimi dari ikan talang (Scomberoides iysan) yaitu surimi,fish ekkado,fish dumpling,analog scallop,fish wontonfish loaf. Dan fish spring rolls. Disimpulkan pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil.

Abstract

The Capacity Building Program for Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) in Tideng Pale Village, Tana Tidung Regency, was conducted from September 5-8, 2023, as part of the Success Kaltara initiative to reduce stunting rates. The program aimed to enhance TPK's knowledge and skills in early stunting detection, anthropometric measurement, and balanced nutrition education. Methods included initial coordination with relevant parties, administrative preparation, training implementation using presentations, demonstrations, simulations, and interactive activities, as well as activity evaluation and documentation. The program results showed significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills. Pre and post questionnaire evaluations indicated an increase in knowledge from 60% to 90% in early stunting detection, anthropometric measurement skills from 55% to 85%, and understanding of balanced nutrition from 50% to 80%. Documentation of training results and follow-up plans ensured the program's sustainability. Challenges such as limited access and network issues were addressed with appropriate strategies, including selecting easily accessible locations and support from related partners

Abstract

One of the national programs is providing Supplementary Food for School Children, which was launched to accelerate the achievement of national development goals. This complete food-based program was the first to be carried out in Kulon Progo Regency; in the previous year, this supplementary food program was provided in the form of snacks. This research aims to explore the adoption of the Supplementary Food for School Children program in Kulon Progo Regency. This research used a qualitative design with a case study approach. The selection of informants used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by in-depth interview method and focus group discussion. The validity of the data is done by using source triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing. This aspect of adoption consists of the program implementer's intention to adopt a program, how the activity implementer tries to implement a program and implements the innovations needed for program development. This is demonstrated by their being able to prepare a team to implement the Supplementary Food for School Children program in schools consisting of cooks and administrative staff, prepare the facilities and infrastructure for implementing the program, and carry out initial anthropometric measurements of school children. Schools receiving the Supplementary Food for School Children program show that they are ready and able to adopt this new program in their respective school settings

Abstract

Background: The condition of stunting must be treated seriously, considering that stunting has an impact on disrupting cognitive, motor and verbal development in children. Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), as a type of first-level health-service-facility, have an important role in the national health system, especially the health-effort-subsystem. The aim of the research is to understand the strategies and actions of community health centers in reducing stunting among children. Methods: Qualitative research with a phenomenological design involving 11 participants with in-depth interviews was used to collect data, which was then analyzed using Braun & Clark's theme framework Results: According to the research findings, there are 4 main themes that describe the role of primary health services at community health centers in reducing stunting in children, including: 1. Revalidation of Stunting Rates in Children 2. Providing Education 3. Cross-sector Collaboration and 4. Providing Supplemental Food. Conclusion: It is hoped that there will be training to increase the competency of health cadres, and the role and cooperation of all components in reducing stunting in children.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Prevalensi anemia ibu hamil di wilayah pesisir Kota Tarakan merupakan yang paling tinggi pada tahun 2021 yaitu 53.5% dimana angka tersebut jauh di atas target nasional yaitu 45%. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dan paritas ibu hamil dengan kejadian anemia di wilayah pesisir Kota Tarakan Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasinya adalah semua ibu hamil trisemester III di Puskesmas Pantai Amal Tahun 2021. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 97 ibu hamil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data rekam medis Puskesmas Pantai Amal Tahun 2021 dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan Chi-Square dengan a= 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memiliki tingkat pendidikan yang rendah yaitu 57 ibu (58,8%) dan hasil analisis menggunakan Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa p=0,005 artinya ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil di puskesmas wilayah pesisir Kota Tarakan Tahun 2021. Hasil analisis data pada paritas dan kejadian anemia ibu hamil juga menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna dimana sebanyak 39 ibu (40,2%) yang berparitas beresiko dan mengalami anemia. Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan dan paritas dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Pantai Amal Tahun 2021. Penting untuk menyusun program pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Pantai Amal dengan memperhatikan faktor resiko yang signifikan berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia. The population is all pregnant women in the third trimester at the Pantai Amal Community Health Center in 2021. The sample size for this study was 97 pregnant women with a random sampling technique. Data was collected using medical record data at the Amal Beach Health Center in 2021 and then analyzed using Chi-Square with a= 0.05. The results showed that respondents had a low level of education, namely 57 mothers (58.8%) and the results of the analysis using Chi-Square showed that p = 0.005 meaning that there was a relationship between education level and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Community Health Center in the coastal area of Tarakan City in 2021.The results of data analysis on parity and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women also showed a significant relationship where as many as 39 mothers (40.2%) with parity were at risk and experienced anemia. There is a significant relationship between education level and parity with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Amal Beach Health Center in 2021. It is important to develop a program to prevent anemia in pregnant women at the Amal Beach Health Center by taking into account the significant risk factors associated with anemia.

Abstract

Background: As people graduate from high school and go on to college or the workforce, shift from youth to young adulthood signifies a transformation in their lives. They start to have more autonomy over their choices, including choosing their foods.Objectives: This study aimed to determine healthy eating habits and its correlation with the likelihood of healthy eating habits among college students Methods: This study is a cross sectional design conducted 384 college students of University of Borneo Tarakan in 2024 with Stratified Random Sampling technique from representative of each faculty. The questionnaire used The Eating Behavior Determinant with Health Belief Model Approach. All items was measured with a 7-point bipolar scale (-3 to 3). Data analysis using the Pearson test.  Results: Predictors that have a significant relationship with The Likelihood of Healthy Eating with R2=0,654 R=0,809 are Self-Efficacy (b 0,46 95% CI 0,38-0,54), Food Intake Status (b 0,22 95% CI 0,15-0,29), Cues To Action (b 0,16 95% CI 0,08-0,25), Perceived Benefits (b 0,13 95% CI 0,06-0,19) and  Understanding the Importance of Healthy Eating (b 0,10 95% CI 0,02-0,19), while that no significant relationship are Perceived Severity (b -0,019, p=0,584), Perceived Vulnerability (b -0,027, p=0,357),  Perceived Barriers (b 0,002, p=0,961), Food Choices (b -0,059, p=0,178) .Conclusion: This study shows that various psychosocial and behavioral factors—including self-efficacy, food intake status, perceived benefits, and cues to action significantly influence healthy eating habits among college students and the Health Belief Model can explain 65,4% of the variation in healthy eating behavior among college students. Practical recommendations include developing campus programs that enhance self-efficacy through healthy food choice skills training.
