Abstract

This study aims to determine the social, economic and cultural conditions of the community in the development area of the oil palm plantation of PT. Tani Prima Makmur (TPM) in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency. The population in this study were all people who grow oil palm independently and/or who work as laborers at the palm oil company PT Tani Prima Makmur (TPM) in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency, totaling 32 families. The sample determination in this study was carried out by census means that the entire population is sampled. The results of this study indicate that the social, economic and cultural conditions of the community in the development area of the PT Tani Prima Makmur (TPM) oil palm plantation in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency have had positive impacts in the form of opening new jobs and negative impacts in the form of environmental pollution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) To determine the productivity of hybrid yellow corn farmers in Mrobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency and (2) To determine how much income hybrid yellow corn farmers get in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency. The results of this study indicate that (1) The productivity of hybrid yellow corn farmers in Marobea Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency is 2,127/kg, which can be said to be quite productive with an average production of 3.128/kg and an average land area of ​​1.47/ha. (2) The amount of income is obtained from the difference between total income of Rp14,050,976/ha/planting season with total production costs of Rp4,365,666/ha/planting season, resulting in an income of an average of Rp9,685,310/ha/planting season.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the raw material inventory process at the seaweed manufacturing company PT Inti Nusa Raya Indonesia in Laeya Village, South Poleang District, Bombana Regency. The main focus of this research is to determine the amount of seaweed processing raw material inventory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The research object was selected using purposive sampling technique with the main respondents being the production manager and accountant of PT Inti Nusa Raya Indonesia. Data was collected through interviews and literature studies, then analyzed using the EOQ method which includes annual order costs, annual storage costs, optimal order quantities, total costs, reorder points, estimated order quantities throughout the year (N), and estimated inter-order times (T). The results showed that the company PT Inti Nusa Raya Indonesia uses two types of raw materials in its production process, namely Eucheuma cottonii and Eucheuma spinosum seaweed. The company obtains raw materials through cooperatives or directly from farmers at a price of Rp 17,000/Kg for Eucheuma cottonii and Rp 6,000/Kg for Eucheuma spinosum, with a minimum dryness requirement of 30%. The use of the EOQ method allows the company to save the cost of Eucheuma cottonii raw material inventory by 79.67% and Eucheuma spinosum by 80.23% compared to the company's conventional method

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channel of shallots in Tampabulu Village, North Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency and to determine the margin and efficiency of shallot marketing in Tampabulu Village, North Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency. The population in this study were 45 farmers, collector traders, retailers, and unknown consumers. The sampling technique for farmers is census sampling so that the number of samples is the same as the population of 45 people. The sampling technique for collectors, retailers and consumers is snowbal sampling. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, marketing margins and marketing efficiency. The results showed that (1) shallot marketing channels in Tampabulu Village, North Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency, there are 3 channels, namely channel I is farmers - retailers - consumers, channel II is farmers - intermediary traders - retailers - consumers, channel III is farmers - intermediary traders - consumers. (2) The marketing margin of shallot farmers in Tampabulu Village, North Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency in each channel has a difference where the largest margin value is in channels I, II and IV, namely IDR 7,000 and the lowest is in channel III with a margin value of IDR 4,000. The difference in marketing margins is due to the fact that the type III channel is not from farmers and consumers, while the type I, II and IV marketing channels are from farmers and consumers. The greater the difference between the purchase price and the selling price, the greater the marketing margin. Conversely, the smaller the difference between the selling price and the purchase price, the smaller the marketing margin. While the value of shallot marketing efficiency in channel I is EP = 1.49% with efficient category. Channel II is EP = 8.98 and in marketing channel III is EP = 4.82%. From the results of the analysis of the efficiency of the four channels is efficient, because it is smaller than the value of marketing efficiency (EP < 33%)

Abstract

This research aims to determine income, marketing channels and marketing efficiency in Floating Village, Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency. The research location was determined using purposive sampling with the consideration that the area is an anchovy producer. This research was carried out in February - July, the sample determination in this research was carried out using a non-probabilistic sampling method with a purposive sampling method with certain criteria. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive analysis, income analysis and marketing efficiency analysis. The research results show that in the research area, the income from each anchovy processor averages IDR 28,190/Kg and there is only one channel pattern and a marketing efficiency level of 2%, which is in the efficient category

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the amount of seaweed cultivation business income in Liya Togo Village, South Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency, (2) analyze the comparison of seaweed cultivation business income before and after obtaining people's business credit (KUR) financing in Liya Village Togo, South Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency. The population in the research were all seaweed cultivation business actors in Liya Togo Village, precisely in South Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency, who had received 29 people's business credit (KUR) funding. Sampling from the population was carried out using a non-probability sampling method, namely the saturated sampling method (census). So the total population and sample size are 29 people. Research analysis uses income analysis and paired t-test analysis. The results of this research show that there are differences in seaweed farming income in Liya Togo Village before and after the existence of People's Business Credit (KUR). Seaweed farming income is higher after the People's Business Credit (KUR) program. The difference in seaweed farmers' income is due to differences in costs and farmers' income after getting People's Business Credit (KUR). After getting People's Business Credit, the income of seaweed farmers, the capital they get increases

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran, efisiensi dan luas pemasaran daring kopi Kahawa Wuna. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bente Kecamatan Kabawo Kabupaten Muna pada bulan Januari 2024 sampai dengan April 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petani kopi di Desa Bente Kecamatan Kabawo Kabupaten Muna dan lembaga pemasaran kopi Kahawa Wuna. Untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode Census Sampling untuk petani kopi dan Snowball Sampling untuk lembaga pemasaran. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 saluran pemasaran kopi Kahawa Wuna di Desa Bente Kecamatan Kabawo Kabupaten Muna. Saluran pemasaran (I), Petani, Pengepul/Pengolah, Konsumen. Kemudian saluran pemasaran (II), petani, pengepul/pengolah, pengecer dan konsumen. Saluran pemasaran II memiliki nilai Farmer's Share tertinggi yaitu sebesar 88% dengan total margin Rp90.500/bungkus, sehingga terindikasi tingkat efisiensi pemasaran paling baik dibandingkan dengan saluran pemasaran I yaitu sebesar 10% dengan total margin pemasaran Rp295.000/kg. Hal ini menunjukkan saluran pemasaran I tidak efisien sedangkan saluran pemasaran II efisien, dan pemanfaatan pemasaran online dalam pemasaran Kahawa Wuna di Desa Bente Kecamatan Kabawo Kabupaten Muna sudah menjangkau beberapa daerah di luar Sulawesi seperti Bandung, Bengkulu, Banten, Lampung dan Padang dengan media pemasaran melalui Facebook dan Instagram.

Abstract

This research was carried out from January to March 2024, with the aim of 1) to determine the income of fishing fishermen in Batu Jaya Village, Laonti District, South Konawe Regency. 2) To find out what factors influence the income of fishing fishermen in Batu Jaya Village, Laonti District, South Konawe Regency. The method used in this research was carried out purposively and the sample was determined using a census method of 20 people. The analytical tools used are income analysis and multiple linear regression. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of palm sugar processors in Wolo District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. A sample of 60 palm sugar processors was selected using simple random sampling technique from the population in Tolowe Ponrewaru Village and Langgomali Village. Performance data were collected through questionnaires measuring the main activities of sap tapping, sugar processing, and product marketing. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the performance level of processors. The results showed that the performance of processors was in the medium category, with balanced contributions at each stage of the production process. The main constraints found include limited processing technology and access to marketing. These findings provide important implications for increasing productivity and developing the local palm sugar agro-industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh wilayah Kecamatan Mawasangka yang berada di daerah pesisir dan merupakan Kawasan potensial aktifitas budidaya laut salah satunya adalah budidaya rumput laut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran sistem agribisnis rumput laut di Kecamatan Mawasangka Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis pendapatan. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dan proportional random sampling. Jumlah responden petani rumput laut sebanyak 44 petani dan 3 pedagang antara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran sistem agribisnis rumput laut yang diterapkan oleh petani rumput di Kecamatan Mawasangka Kabupaten Buton Tengah terdiri dari subsistem hilir dalam hal ini penyediaan sarana produksi, subsistem usahatani, subsistem hulu yakni pengolahan dan penyimpanan, subsistem pemasaran dan subsistem penunjang. Dalam subsistem input, petani pengadaan sarana produksi yakni bibit dan peralatan berasal dari dua sumber yakni berasal dari petani sendiri dan berasal dari pemerintah. Pada subsistem budidaya petani melakukan budidaya rumput laut dengan beberapa tahapan yakni pemilihan lokasi, penyediaan bibit, persiapan konstruksi/wadah budidaya, tempat penyimpanan hasil panen/penjemuran, pemeliharaan hingga pemanenan. Produksi rata-rata petani rumput laut sebesar 629,55 kg dengan penerimaan rata-rata Rp.8.400.586,00 dan pendapatan sebesar Rp6.002.678,96. Pada subsistem agroindustri petani mengolah hasil panennya dari rumput laut basah ke rumput laut kering dengan waktu penjemuran ± 3 hari. Subsistem pemasaran terjadi saluran distribusi tak langsung (Indirect Channel of Distribution), dengan margin rata-rata Rp500,00,-. Sedangkan pada subsistem penunjang, pemerintah membantu petani rumput laut dalam menjalankan usahataninya melalui bantuan sarana produksi. Terdapat beberapa kendala dan permasalahan pada beberapa subsektor yakni penyaluran sarana produksi yang tidak merata oleh pemerintah setempat, keterbatasan petani dalam mengadakan sarana produksi yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan modal, adanya hama dan kotoran yang mengganggu pertumbuhan rumput laut, faktor iklim yang mengganggu proses penjemuran serta harga yang tidak menentu yang didapatkan oleh para petani.
