South Sulawesi. This research was conducted in January-December 2020. This research was conducted in Ujung Tanah Village, Mare Sub-District, Bone District. The population in this study were all lowland rice farmers in Ujung Tanah Village, as many as 347 farmers. Determination of the number of samples was carried out in 2 ways, namely the census method for Tabela tool farmers by taking the total population of 15 farmers and for Tabela farmers without tools by taking 10% members of 10 farmer groups with 332 population numbers, determining the sample using the cluster proportional random sampling technique. With 33 farmers, the total of the samples in this study were 48 people. The data method is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study are that the socio-economic factors that influence the decisions of lowland rice farmers in the use of direct seed planting technology (Table Toola), namely the farming experience variable and the land area variable have a negative effect. In contrast, the labor variable has a positive impact.

Abstract

Russula Pers. (Basidiomycota) is recognized as one of the most widely distributed macrofungi globally. This genus includes several edible species with distinct color variations, such as R. cyanoxantha. However, in Indonesia, knowledge of this species remains limited as colourful mushrooms are often mistakenly considered poisonous. During a fungus expedition in Southeast Sulawesi, we collected a green edible wild mushroom consumed by locals. Our study aimed to verify the taxonomic classification of our specimens through morphological and molecular analysis. The fresh basidiomata were examined based on their macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. Molecular analysis using ITS 1/2 sequences was conducted to construct a phylogenetic tree. Our findings identified the green mushroom as R. cyanoxantha (Schaeff.) Fr. (Synonym: R. lilacina). Morphologically, our specimens can be distinguished from R. virescens by their smooth cap. They differ from R. aeruginea and R. heterophylla by having flexible, persistent gills. Additionally, our R. cyanoxantha specimen BO24636 can be separated from R. dinghuensis and R. subpallidirosea by their forked gills near the stalk. A BLAST comparison revealed a 96% similarity to R. lilacina from Thailand as the closest match. The phylogenetic tree (Maximum Likelihood) placed our specimens within the R. lilacina group (BS value 99%). Our research contributes to the taxonomic understanding of this edible wild green macrofungi in Indonesia, and future studies should explore its nutritional composition.

Abstract

Abstract

The fertilizer subsidy policy is a government program aimed at providing affordable fertilizer to enhance the productivity of domestic commodities, including corn. In 2022, there was a change in the fertilizer subsidy policy, specifically a reduction in the number of subsidized fertilizer types and commodities. This policy change caused farmers to bear higher production costs. In addition, the decline in corn productivity at the research site serves as an indicator of the ineffectiveness of the fertilizer subsidy policy implementation and a source of production inefficiency. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the 2022 fertilizer subsidy policy implementation and analyze its impact on the technical efficiency of corn farming. The research was conducted in Kadur Subdistrict, Pamekasan Regency, East Java. The study employed a survey method involving 43 farmers who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using a quantitative descriptive approach, incorporating effectiveness analysis and technical efficiency measurement through the Cobb–Douglas Stochastic Frontier production function. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of the 2022 fertilizer subsidy policy implementation falls within the “highly effective” category. Furthermore, improving the effectiveness of non-Farmer Card (non-Kartu Tani) usage and the distribution of subsidized fertilizers significantly enhances technical efficiency.
