Abstract

Climate change and environmental degradation are pressing global challenges that need immediate attention. One crucial step in addressing these issues is to increase awareness and knowledge about the environment among the younger generation, particularly elementary school students. Environmental literacy can help students understand environmental issues, climate change, and their impacts on their lives and the future of the planet. This article proposes a community service program aimed at improving environmental literacy among elementary school students as an effort to build a climate-smart generation. The program involves an educational and practical approach, focusing on enhancing knowledge about environmental issues, developing practical skills for environmental conservation, and instilling a sense of responsibility toward nature. It is expected that this program will contribute positively to creating a more environmentally conscious, caring, and active generation that plays a role in preserving the environment and addressing climate change in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the concept of teachers in Islamic education from the perspective of the Holy Quran. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this research show that a teacher is someone who is responsible for guiding, directing and being a role model for their students. Teachers have the most important responsibility and role, because a teacher must be able to direct and guide students so that they have intelligence and good manners that will be implemented in carrying out their lives. In Islamic education, teachers do not only convey their knowledge, but as educators they must also be responsible for the development of their students’ behavior so that morals are formed.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the concept of Tungku Tigo Sajarangan-Tali Tigo Sapilin in building teacher creativity in elementary schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this research show that the Tungku Tigo Sajarangan-Tali Tigo Sapilin concept is a leadership concept that applies in Minangkabau which consists of three actors, namely Niniak Mamak, Alim Ulama, and Cadiak Pandai. In building creativity among teachers in elementary schools, as a leader who sets an example, a school principal must continue to prioritize religious teachings in guiding teachers in elementary schools, and continue to remind his colleagues so that teacher creativity can be honed in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) siswa dikelas V SDN 09 Air Pacah Kota Padang, hal ini terlihat pada proses pembelajaran, guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional sehingga kurangnya semangat belajar siswa, kurangnya aktivitas siswa dalam belajar, sehingga kurang menarik perhatian dan minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model Number Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di kelas V SDN 09 Air Pacah Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V, cara menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Kertas undian pertama yang di ambil adalah kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kertas undian kedua adalah kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Data yang diperoleh dengan tes akhir dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, terlihat pada nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 82,25 dan kelas kontrol 73,91, thitung 1.978 dan ttabel 1.680 dengan kesimpulan, menggunakan model Number Head Together (NHT) memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di kelas V SDN 09 Air Pacah Kota Padang.
