Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of comparative adjectives in English by students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN SU). Mastery of adjective comparison is important to improve English skills, both oral and written. The research uses a qualitative approach with an interview method to 20 students from various study programs. Interview questions include the use of adjectives in positive, comparative, superlative, as well as irregular adjectives and their exceptions. The results of the study revealed that students experienced difficulties related to the use of irregular adjectives, exceptions in the formation of comparisons, long adjectives, lack of practice and practice, and the influence of the mother tongue. These findings provide valuable information for the development of more effective teaching methods in the topic of adjective comparison in UIN SU. In addition, this research contributes to enriching English learning literature, especially in the context of Indonesian higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of office management in improving the quality of student administration at MTs Laboratorium UINSU. Office management is an essential element in supporting the smooth operation of administrative processes, including student data management, correspondence, and information services. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of office management principles—such as work planning, task organization, supervision of administrative activities, and the use of information technology—can enhance the efficiency and accuracy of student administrative management. Therefore, effective implementation of office management has a positive impact on student administrative services at MTs Laboratorium UINSU.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebiasaan belajar mahasiswa.Kebiasaan belajar merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas 5 dan 6 SD dengan nilai rata-rata di atas 90.Data dikumpulkan melalui survei kebiasaan belajar, wawancara dengan siswa dan orang tua, serta observasi kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dan di rumah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang berprestasi mempunyai kebiasaan belajar yang baik, seperti jadwal belajar yang teratur, penyusunan bahan pelajaran yang baik, mencatat dan merangkum, belajar dengan tekun dan fokus, serta lingkungan belajar yang baik.Selain itu, dukungan orang tua dan guru berperan penting dalam membentuk kebiasaan belajar positif siswa.Temuan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dan orang tua untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan kebiasaan belajar yang efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademiknya.
