Abstract

Learner management that integrates technology can improve interactions between teachers and learners, enable active learning, and help realize educational goals. This research aims to explore the application of technology-based learner management concepts in improving the quality of services of Islamic education institutions in the era of Society 5.0. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and a literature study. Literature studies were performed on several articles and books that examine educational management, both concepts and their application in academic institutions. Data analysis is carried out with the stages of editing data that will be used as material for analysis, organizing data by research objectives, finding a theme that needs to be confirmed with previous studies, and concluding to reveal new concepts in learner management. The results of this study found four basic principles in technology-based learner management in Islamic educational institutions, namely: i) utilization of digital platforms, ii) effective and efficient management of learners, iii) making it easier for learners to achieve learning goals, and iv) collaboration of learning environments to support the success of learners in pursuing education within a specific time. The application of digital management concepts can create convenience in learner governance, especially in recording learner data, mutations, and promotions, as well as special services in developing the potential and interests of learners. In addition, this study found that using technology in learner management in Islamic educational institutions can improve the quality of education while maintaining Islamic values in every aspect of learning. This study can be a reference for future researchers researching education management in various contexts and issues.

The career of a teacher presents many challenges as well as rewards; without strong motivation, not everyone will be interested in this profession. This study aims to analyze and improve the quality of services to students in Islamic elementary schools through In-House Training activities, with a focus on implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and enhancing the knowledge and competence of teachers in compiling simple P5-PPRA modules. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection techniques included documentation, interviews, and observation. Data were obtained from twenty-six informants through in-depth interviews, selected using purposive sampling; all informants were active teachers in their respective professions. The teachers’ ability and expertise in creating project modules which were initially very simple improved significantly. After the In-House Training was conducted in the Islamic elementary school, the benefits perceived by teachers included increased professionalism, discipline, and competitiveness through the application of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Gasing Method oriented toward digital learning.

There are still many students who are not yet able to read the Quran properly and correctly, there are still students who are not yet able to read the Alquran. The aim of this research is to find out about planning, implementation and improving the results of the ability to memorize short verses using the tahrir method in elementary schools in Indonesia. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, research carried out in elementary schools. The data source in this research is elementary school students, totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation and test techniques. The data analysis technique consists of four steps, namely the first planning stage, implementation stage, observation and reflection stage. The results of the research show that learning planning uses the assessment method, namely by preparing learning implementation plans, teaching materials about length measuring instruments, preparing observation sheets, and supporting tools needed in the learning process. The second learning implementation using the inquiry method was carried out in two cycles with four meetings. The three research results showed an increase in the average score of students in cycle I, namely 63.93, increasing to 83.17 in cycle II using the assessment method with a percentage of completeness in the ability to memorize short verses for students from cycle I of 5 people (35.71 %) increased to 13 people (92.86%) in cycle II.

Abstract

Learning methods are one of the determining factors in achieving student learning competency. With the right method, the competencies expected in learning become easier to achieve. This also applies to learning Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools. One effective method that can be used for learning the Quran and Hadith material is the Tikrar method. This research aims to analyze the effect of using the Tikrar method in improving elementary school students' ability to memorize the Quran. This research uses a Classroom Action Research design with two cycles, which was carried out in one elementary school in Indonesia. Research data was taken from teachers and nineteen students, with data collection techniques through observation and tests. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed a significant increase in students' memorization competence, where the cumulative daily test scores increased from 45% to 94.74%. These findings prove that the Tikrar method is effective in improving students' memorization abilities in the Quran and Hadith subjects in elementary schools.
