Abstract

Mata pelajaran simulasi dan komunikasi digital fokus pada bidang komunikasi digital yang memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, masih terdapat permasalahan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Kesehatan Bhakti Kencana Garut pada bulan Agustus 2023. Penerapan metoda Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dipilih dalam pembelajaran simulasi dan komunikasi digital. Melalui penerapan metode PBL dalam pembelajaran SISKOMDIG, hasilnya siswa merasa lebih puas dengan pembelajaran dan mengalami peningkatan dalam pemahaman materi. PBL juga membantu mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan lingkungan dan bahasa yang rumit, seiring dengan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan keterampilan komunikasi. Dengan demikian, PBL telah membawa perbaikan yang nyata dalam pengalaman pembelajaran siswa SISKOMDIG, mengatasi hambatan internal dan eksternal yang sebelumnya dihadapi.

Abstract

The cross-sectional dimensions of wood are limited because they experience swelling and shrinkage, so to obtain large wood dimensions, one way to do this is lamination. Laminated wood beams are combined with reinforced concrete plates to produce a structural form where the wood is protected by a concrete plate. The wood lamination system in this research uses adhesive bolts with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) as external reinforcement. The test beam consists of a normal beam without reinforcement (BLN-00) and a test beam with external reinforcement with a CFRP layer (BLF-01). This research was carried out experimentally using the Displacement Control method. The test beam was loaded with a monotonic static concentrated load in the middle of the span with a constant speed of 0.05 mm/s until failure. The results showed that the normal test beam without reinforcement (BLN-00) had a strength of 52.43 kN, stiffness of 7.06 kN/mm, and ductility of 13.42. Meanwhile, the beam with CFRP reinforcement (BLF-01) has a strength of 65.81 kN, stiffness of 9.33 kN/mm, and ductility of 16.85. Apart from that, the maximum shear stress value that occurs in normal beams is 4.23 MPa and in beams with CFRP reinforcement it is 1.95 MPa.

Abstract

Prevention of Stunting in Dayeuh Manggung VillageStunting is a health issue that is often experienced by children in Dayeuhmanggung Village. This is due to a lack of access to balanced nutrition and adequate sanitation. The issue can be addressed through community service activities in the form of seminars that have been conducted with the aim of raising awareness and knowledge among the public regarding the importance of balanced nutrition, good eating habits, and hygiene to prevent infections. The method used in this service is the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) scheme, which breaks down the work process into smaller parts to facilitate planning and coordination. The results of the seminar activities indicate an increase in public understanding of stunting and its prevention measures, as well as the participants' ability to apply the knowledge gained in their daily lives. Support from the government, health organizations, and active community participation also strengthens the positive impact of this activity. A systematic and collaborative approach is expected to address the stunting cases in Dayeuhmanggung Village.

Abstract

This community service is aimed at increasing the understanding of Computational Thinking among children under the Social Protection for Children (PSA) program in Balewangi Village. Computational Thinking is the ability to think logically, systematically, and structurally, which is relevant for solving everyday problems as well as technology-based ones. The learning strategies used are interactive education thru the presentation of visual materials, video screenings, and group discussions. The research design employs pre-tests and post-tests to assess the program's effectiveness. The activity will be held on August 9, 2025, with the participation of 30 children. The evaluation results show an increase in post-test scores of 12.5%. This achievement confirms that the interactive educational approach is capable of strengthening Computational Thinking understanding in PSA beneficiaries, while also contributing to the development of digital literacy at the rural community level.
