Abstract

A Technological advances have a broad impact on every aspect of people's lives, including the legal system, especially the e-court system which is a form of the government service system. The aim of the electronic justice system is to simplify the justice system by enabling online registration of cases, payments, summons and hearings. People had to waste time and energy traveling to and from court buildings before e-courts were available, making this service inefficient and ineffective. However, there are a number of obstacles to the use of E-Court, including lack of public outreach and education, limited human resources, and gaps in access to information and communication technology. Normative juridical research is the backbone of this research while also relying on secondary data. For this research, we also consulted secondary sources, such as government records and scientific publications, to gather information. The results found that the use of E-Court as a court service in Indonesia provides benefits including increased efficiency and effectiveness of justice, greater public trust in the justice system.

The population in this study are competent parties who know the strategy of halal certification in the development of SMEs in the Greater Bandung Region and sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 18 expert respondents who are ready and willing to be respondents. Based on the results of the IFAS and EFAS assessments, the halal certification strategy is in quadrant I, namely, "Grow and Develop". This research also shows the position of the halal certification strategy in the IA quadrant with the choice of the "Rapid Growth" strategy which has an S>O value, thereby supporting the SO strategy. Meanwhile, based on AHP analysis, the biggest problems and priority solutions are in the infrastructure aspect. The theoretical and practical implications of this research confirm that the problems and solutions that are the priority need to be considered by the relevant institutions. In conclusion, the government should play a proactive role in developing Culinary SMEs by raising awareness of halal opportunities and encouraging innovation. Halal certification institutions should optimize the certification process to support the development of Culinary SMEs.

Abstract

The ten Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as one of the economically influential regional organizations globally, are growing significantly in intraregional migration. Intraregional migration follows migrant workers across the country. This paper discusses the current state of migrant worker protection, especially in the context of the developments, challenges, and prospects among ASEAN countries. This paper aims to critically examine why ASEAN is seemingly hard to protect its migrant workers during its importance in the region’s economic development. This paper will first show the fundamental and pragmatic factors to the significance yet inadequate protection of migrant workers. Having analyzed the factors, the authors will argue about the ineffective principle of ‘The ASEAN Way’ in ensuring migrant workers’ protection by demonstrating ASEAN member countries’ response to migrant workers’ rights. In conclusion, this paper proposes institutional reform for ASEAN and provides further research on the issue. The protection of migrant workers is a key feature of the region’s labor market. It is expected that each country will have a better regulation to implement a fair labor migration system for the interests of governments, employers, and migrant workers.

Second, efforts made by the school, such as conducting socialization about traffic rules and motorcycle riding in collaboration with the police during the MPLS (School Environment Introduction Period) event. Third, efforts made by law enforcement, such as conducting socialization at schools during Monday morning assemblies, as well as repressive measures like issuing traffic tickets while simultaneously providing education about traffic rules.
