Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas lagu anak sebagai media terapi bagi anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme, gangguan fonologis yang mempengaruhi pengucapan bunyi “R”. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif di Desa Binjai Bakung, Kecamatan Pantai Labu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan paired sample t-test. Objek penelitian adalah anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme yang diberikan intervensi dengan lagu anak ciptaan dan dua lagu anak lain yang memiliki konsonan “r”. Data dari 13 anak menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam kemampuan berbicara. Pada pretest, nilai minimum adalah 13 dan maksimum 50, dengan rata-rata 35,37 dan standar deviasi 6,91. Setelah intervensi, nilai posttest meningkat dengan minimum 50 dan maksimum 75, rata-rata 61,15, dan standar deviasi 7,11. Observasi menunjukkan beberapa anak memiliki masalah pada alat ucap dan kegugupan saat berbicara, tetapi tidak ada yang mengidap autisme. Masalah pengucapan tidak terkait dengan bahasa sehari-hari, dan mayoritas anak tidak merasa minder berbicara di depan umum serta mampu mempertahankan percakapan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lagu anak yang kaya akan konsonan “R” efektif sebagai stimulus untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengucapan dan kepercayaan diri anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme. Kata kunci: Komunikasi, Lagu Anak, Rhotisisme, Treatment   AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of children’s songs as a therapeutic medium for children with rhotisism, a phonological disorder that affects the pronunciation of the “R” sound. The research used a quantitative experimental method in Binjai Bakung Village, Pantai Labu District. Data were collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire, and analyzed using normality test and paired sample t-test. The object of the research was children with racism who were given an intervention with a children’s song created by them and two other children’s songs that have the consonant “r”. Data from 13 children showed significant changes in speaking ability. In the pretest, the minimum score was 13 and the maximum was 50, with a mean of 35.37 and a standard deviation of 6.91. After the intervention, posttest scores increased with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 75, a mean of 61.15, and a standard deviation of 7.11. Observations showed that some children had speech problems and nervousness when speaking, but none had autism. Pronunciation problems were not related to colloquial language, and the majority of children did not feel inferior speaking in public and were able to sustain conversations. This study shows that children’s songs rich in “R” consonants are effective as a stimulus to improve the pronunciation skills and self-confidence of children with rhotisism. Keywords: Communication, Children’s Songs, Rhoticism, Treatment

Abstract

This research investigates the decline in visitation at Medan City's Maimun Palace by emphasizing the influence of declining service quality, particularly regarding noise and the lack of separation between the merchant area and historical relics. Involving qualitative and descriptive research methods, analysis of the findings highlighted the need for improved layout, implementation of strict regulations on merchants, and enhancement of tourist services as integral solutions. The results show that these improvements are expected to create a clearer flow of visits, maintain the quality of the destination, and provide a more satisfying visitor experience. The conclusions emphasize the urgency of integrated measures to support sustainability and restore visitor interest, while recognizing that the focus on service aspects is a limitation. These measures provide a basis for further efforts to develop and improve the management of this historic tourist destination.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze parents' perceptions of inclusive education for children with special needs (CSN) and the factors influencing their decision to choose inclusive schools. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with parents of CSN in Pancur Batu District. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques to identify key emerging patterns. The findings indicate that parents' perceptions of inclusive education vary. Some parents support inclusive education due to its benefits in enhancing children's social interactions and independence. However, others express concerns regarding school readiness, the limited availability of trained educators, and the social stigma surrounding CSN. Economic factors and personal experiences also play a role in parents' decision-making when selecting a school for their children. Therefore, comprehensive policies are needed to support inclusive education, including enhanced training for educators, improved facilities, and broader public awareness campaigns. Strengthening collaboration among the government, schools, and communities is also essential to creating a more inclusive learning environment that optimally supports the development of CSN.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dalam film Cek Toko Sebelah 2 karya Ernest Prakasa. Film ini dipilih karena menghadirkan interaksi sehari-hari yang mencerminkan keragaman budaya dan dinamika sosial masyarakat urban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi, di mana dialog-dialog antar karakter dalam film dianalisis berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip kesantunan, seperti maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kemurahan, maksim penghargaan, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim kesepakatan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa film Cek Toko Sebelah 2 menampilkan beragam bentuk kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh karakter-karakternya, baik dalam konteks formal maupun informal. Beberapa pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kesantunan juga ditemukan, namun hal ini lebih bertujuan untuk memperkuat elemen komedi dalam film. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana prinsip kesantunan berbahasa diterapkan dalam film dan bagaimana penggunaannya berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan karakter serta jalan cerita.

Abstract

Literature is a picture of people's lives that occurred in the past and is influenced by the author's imagination. Literature can also be conveyed as a means of conveying ideas packaged in creative writing. This research aims to describe the personality of the father character in the film because of inheritance. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research, with the research source being films because of heritage. The data analysis technique uses the psychoanalytic approach proposed by Sigmund Freud. The film, entitled Because of Heritage, tells the story of the life of a family. The family will have accommodation but the accommodation is threatened with being sold to a drug dealer. From the results of the analysis that the author found, the father character has eight id personalities, four egos and two superegos. The conclusion in this research is that the father figure has a stubborn nature so he has quite a lot of personality ids. He is willing to make sacrifices to maintain household harmony and the welfare of his children.

Abstract

Tanda baca tidak bisa dipisahkan dari tulisan, penggunaan tanda baca dalam menulis teks khususnya laporan hasil observasi disarankan agar terhindar dari kesalahan, dan memahaminya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca pada skripsi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan musik Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, hal ini dikarenakan metode kualitatif dilakukan secara sistematis. Skripsi termasuk penelitian primer hal ini dikarenakan peneliti mengumpulkan sendiri data-data yang dibutukan. Sumber penelitian berasal dari skripsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Musik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara teknik simak- catat. Teknik Simak dilakukan dengan cara menyimak penggunaan tanda baca yang diteliti kemudian dilakukan teknik pencatatan dengan mencatat kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca pada skripsi. Proses analisis penelitian meliputi menyeleksi data, menganalisis data, memberikan alasan kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca serta menyimpulkan data. Dari data penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa kesalahan paling dominan adalah penggunaan tanda koma dengan 29 kesalahan, diikuti 3 kesalahan pada penggunaan titik dua, serta beberapa kesalahan pada tanda hubung, titik, dan titik koma. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan tanda baca masih rendah, yang berdampak pada ketidak jelasan penulisan. Peningkatan perhatian terhadap penggunaan tanda baca diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas penulisan skripsi.
