Abstract

Film "Imam Tanpa Makmum" merupakan hasil karya anak bangsa yang dimana didalamnya tidak hanya menceritakan dengan visual sebuah kisah namun terdapat penerapan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang bisa mengimplementasikan orang-orang Indonesia itu sendiri dengan penerapan beberapa kearifan lokal didalam film tersebut. Analisis ini dimaksudkan untuk menemukan, meneliti, dan menilai penggunaan dan penerapan Bahasa Indonesia dan Kearifan Lokal dalam film karya Negara Indonesia ini. Metode analisis yang dipakai pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dimana dalam artikel ini berfokus dalam menemukan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan kearifan lokal yang terdapat pada Film Imam Tanpa Makmum. Hal ini penting agar film tidak hanya menjadi sarana hiburan sermata namun bisa memberikan pengetahuan secara tidak langsung mengenai penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan kearifan lokal melayu Riau.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate common errors in the use of punctuation and writing in Indonesian in physics learning modules at secondary school level in Semarang City. These errors can interfere with students' understanding of the material presented in the module. Therefore, it is necessary to improve and perfect the use of Indonesian punctuation and writing in physics learning modules in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning. By analyzing these errors, this study hopes to provide better insight into linguistic aspects in physics learning, and provide recommendations for improvements to improve the quality of learning materials. Analysis methods include collecting learning modules, identifying errors, classifying types of errors, analyzing the causes of errors, and recommending improvements. It is hoped that the results of this study can make a significant contribution to the development of the education curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the main challenges in teaching Indonesian language (BIPA) in international classrooms, particularly addressing the limited knowledge of Indonesian culture that learners encounter in BIPA. Another significant challenge is the constraint of materials and teaching strategies related to Indonesian culture, especially regional cultures, which may have an impact on BIPA instruction in Indonesia. The primary goal is to enhance the use of the Indonesian language among foreign learners through cross-cultural understanding and a cognitive approach that supports its implementation. This research also aims to identify the impact of community practices on language learning, believing that interaction within this community enhances students' language abilities. Using a linguistic phenomenology design, this study involves direct classroom observations supported by field notes, providing insights into interactions and teaching practices. Semi-structured interviews with instructors contribute to a deeper understanding of perspectives and challenges in teaching BIPA, particularly concerning cross-cultural understanding in its instruction. Findings indicate that not all BIPA instructors utilize cultural materials and strategies in teaching. However, with high levels of student knowledge about Minangkabau culture, such as food, art, clothing, and traditional houses observed in West Sumatra, gaps in their learning arise. Time management issues emerge as a significant concern affecting the effectiveness of teaching cross-cultural understanding in foreign language instruction. This research provides valuable insights for enhancing BIPA instruction in international classrooms, emphasizing the importance of understanding community practices in cross-cultural understanding in BIPA instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct discourse analysis for the development of multimodal ebook teaching materials using book creators in psycholinguistics lessons at Universitas Negeri Medan. Engaging with over a hundred students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, the research embarks on an exploratory journey. Through meticulous discourse analysis, the inquiry seeks to comprehend student engagement and preferences within the domain of psycholinguistics. Employing a thorough methodology involving observations, interviews, and questionnaires, the study unveils prevalent pedagogical trends and identifies avenues for progress. While conventional textbooks and journals remain prominent, students demonstrate a distinct inclination towards digital resources, signaling a burgeoning demand for immersive learning experiences. Introducing multimodal ebooks, poised to revolutionize education with dynamic and interactive content, the research endeavors to leverage state-of-the-art book creation technology. By tailoring teaching materials to the nuances of psycholinguistic pedagogy, the study aims to foster enthusiasm among learners and empower them with engaging educational tools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum maksimalnya kemampuan mahasiswa angkatan 2022 dalam mengapresiasi dan mengkritik karya sastra Indonesia di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Unimed. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa apresiasi dan kritik sastra merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang melibatkan kemampuan afektif, memahami nilai-nilai, sekaligus berupaya memetakan pola dan tata nilai yang diperoleh dari karya sastra yang diapresiasi ke dalam proporsi yang sesuai dengan konteks persoalannya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah desain pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi dan kritik sastra mahasiswa. Kemampuan tersebut akan ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran sastra dengan perspektif multidimensional. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui proses pengembangan, dan 2) menguji kelayakan model pembelajaran perspektif multidimensional dalam pembelajaran apresiasi dan kritik sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode reseacrh and development (r&d) dengan model 4-D. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa proses penelitian disusun dengan berdasarkan tahapan pengembangan 4D terdiri atas 4 tahap utama yaitu: define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Kelayakan model pembelajaran sastra dengan perspektif multidimensional sudah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan “sangat layak” dan keterangan catataan “tidak perlu revisi” sesuai dengan hasil penilaian validasi ahli desain model pembelajaran sebesar 91,25%. Sedangkan untuk hasil uji coba apresiasi sastra mahasisa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,78% dengan kategori “baik” dalam standar penilaian kemampuan apresiasi sastra. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran sastra dengan perspektif multidimensional valid dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi dan kritik sastra mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Unimed Angkatan 2022.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pesan moral yang terkandung dalam film Onde Mande.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam pendekatan ini, peneliti diberikan fakta dan data, lalu data tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan Teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, karena peneliti telah memahami representasi, objek, dan interpretasi. Terdapat dua sumber data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer, yaitu film “Onde Mande” dan data sekunder, yaitu informasi dari situs internet dan dokumen lain yang berkaitan dengan film Onde Mande untuk mendukung tujuan penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi pesan moral dalam film Onde Mande. Hasil penelitiannya adalah ditemukannya pesan moral yang terkandung dari beberapa adegan film tersebut, diantaranya kegigihan dan keyakinan, musyawarah untuk keputusan bersama, kejujuran dan keadilan, rasa syukur dan balas budi, ketaatan kepada orang tua serta tanggung jawab dan penebusan kesalahan.

Abstract

Literasi adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk mengolah dan memahami informasi melalui aktivitas membaca dan menulis. Salah satu fokus kegiatan dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar adalah literasi. Kurikulum ini dirancang untuk memberikan pendidikan yang menyeluruh dengan fokus pada meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca, menulis, berbicara, dan mendengar. Artikel ini membahas pengaruh penerapan literasi dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur sebagai metode penelitian. Studi literatur bertujuan untuk memperoleh data yang bersumber dari data sekunder yaitu artikel, jurnal dan buku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kegiatan literasi di sekolah dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar terhadap kemampuan siswa khususnya pada keterampilan menulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan literasi dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Pembelajaran literasi yang efektif meliputi penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik, pengembangan keterampilan membaca, dan penggunaan teknik menulis yang tepat dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan di era Merdeka Belajar, dengan memberikan wawasan tentang potensi literasi sebagai alat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa.

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of the Tandem application as a medium for learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) through the roomchat feature. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Tandem application in improving Indonesian language skills for non-native speakers and understand the extent to which the roomchat feature can support the learning process. This study is an empirical study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data is presented and described with comprehensive meaning. The data for this study was taken using observation and interview techniques. The results of the research show that the use of the Tandem application significantly helps improve the speaking and writing skills of BIPA students. The roomchat feature in this application allows intensive and real-time interaction between native Indonesian speakers and students, thereby creating a communicative learning environment and supporting direct language practice. This study concludes that the Tandem application is an effective and innovative tool in BIPA learning, and provides recommendations for teachers to utilize similar technology in the teaching process. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to the development of more interactive and interesting language learning methods in the future.

Abstract

Media is not only a tool to convey material, but also a means that facilitates a more interactive and interesting learning process. Many learning media provided can be applied by educators, one of which is learning media based on traditional Batak Toba games. Therefore, this study discusses the use of traditional Batak Toba games as a BIPA learning medium. The problem in this study is the type of game found in the Batak Toba community, how to use games in the Batak Toba community and the types of games of the Batak Toba community. This study aims to find out the benefits of the traditional game of Batak Toba as well as the types of games in traditional games in Batak Toba. The method used in analyzing this research problem is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The types of traditional Toba Batak games are, Mardideng, Pocak Piring, Marsigala, Marroda (hide and seek), and Marsitukkel (engrang). Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the traditional Batak Toba game can be used as a learning medium for BIPA teaching. The benefits found from the game from the Batak Toba community are increasing learning motivation, increasing understanding of the material, and interactive learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of traditional Toba Batak culinary as teaching material in learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) based on local wisdom. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The research subjects included BIPA teachers, BIPA participants, and sources related to traditional Toba Batak culinary. Data analysis was done inductively by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study describe the process of selecting and preparing BIPA teaching materials that integrate traditional Toba Batak culinary elements as a representation of local wisdom. The teaching materials include aspects of language, cultural knowledge, and language skills by utilizing the Toba Batak culinary context. This study reveals the challenges and strategies in presenting local wisdom in BIPA teaching materials as well as the perceptions of teachers and participants towards the use of traditional culinary-based teaching materials. The research findings can be a reference in developing BIPA teaching materials that are contextual, interesting, and provide an understanding of the richness of Indonesian culture, especially Toba Batak culture.
