Abstract

Pregnancy is part of the period of a woman's life. However, in pregnancy there are often unwanted complications. Complications or high risk in pregnancy estimated by 20% of pregnant women. The risk of the pregnancy developing into complications can be life- threatening. Research respondents were involved in total sampling, there were postpartum mothers within a span of three months after giving birth. The results of the screening were analyzed in relation to the APGAR score of newborns. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the mean of APGAR scores in the first and fifth minutes between mothers who had normal and abnormal blood pressure, weight gain, and uterine fundal height. There was a significant difference in the mean of APGAR scores in the first and fifth minutes between mothers who had normal and abnormal fetal movements and fetal heart rate. Birth status was the factor that has the greatest influence on the APGAR score of newborns. Abstract

Parenting styles play a very important role in children's psychosocial development. Psychosocial development is personality development related to behavioral and social relationships. Psychosocial development has stages, and each stage has a critical period or a developmental task that must be passed. This is where the role of the family is needed as the first educator, in creating good psychosocial development. This research aims to develop parenting patterns to improve children's psychosocial development. The systematic review method is used to search for articles in electronic databases, namely Google Scholar, Research Gate, and PubMed/Medline. The search strategy method uses PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and meta-analysis) through four stages consisting of identification, screening, eligibility, and finally inclusion. The search was limited to publication year (2015 to 2023), article type "research article", and Open Access. Articles must be complete manuscripts, published in nationally or internationally accredited journals. Analysis carried out by the author of 6 relevant articles found that positive and supportive parenting styles, which include providing love, attention, appropriate discipline, and open communication between parents and children, contribute significantly to improving children's psychosocial development. In addition, an approach that is oriented towards understanding individual children, understanding their needs, and providing space for self-expression, also plays an important role in establishing balanced psychosocial development. By understanding the importance of positive parenting, parents can play an active role in helping their children grow into psychosocially healthy individuals, who have good social skills, and the ability to overcome the stress and challenges of daily life. This research contributes to further understanding of the important role parents play in shaping their children's psychosocial future.

After that, the data was analyzed, presented, and conclusions were drawn. The results of the current policy input research are limited to the relevant agencies and the amount of funds and human resources available for the program. Existing facilities and infrastructure must be supported by the APBD. Many factors can lead to domestic violence, including third persons, jealousy, financial problems, and drug use.Due to lack of funding and resources, the program did not meet expectations. The conclusion is that programs and information media should be improved to maximize prevention services and decrease domestic violence cases.

Abstract

Stunting remains one of Indonesia’s most persistent nutritional challenges. According to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI), the prevalence of stunting in West Sumatra reached 23.6%. One effective nutrition-sensitive intervention for stunting prevention is the Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) program, which consists of five main pillars. The working area of Belimbing Health Center in Padang shows a high-risk profile, with 449 stunted children, 247 underweight children, and exclusive breastfeeding coverage of only 62.76%. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of pregnant women and mothers with children under two years old in implementing proper sanitation practices through the five STBM pillars. The intervention improved community participation, sanitation behavior, and family support for clean and healthy living. The community is expected to take a more active role in maintaining environmental sanitation and adopting clean and healthy living behaviors as an effort to prevent and reduce the prevalence of stunting. This activity is anticipated to contribute to the reduction of stunting rates in support of achieving the Golden Generation 2045.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to prevent stunting through the holistic empowerment of pregnant women in the working area of Belimbing Public Health Center, Kuranji District, Padang City. The implementation method employed a participatory and cross-sectoral collaborative approach, beginning with a Community Deliberation Meeting (Musyawarah Masyarakat Kelurahan), followed by the establishment of Pregnant Women Classes, maternal health assessments (antenatal care, nutritional status, and hemoglobin examination), provision of iron tablets and supplementary food, as well as refresher training and capacity strengthening for health cadres. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in pregnant women’s knowledge regarding stunting prevention, increasing from 55.3% to 92%, an increase in antenatal care participation up to 98%, a reduction in the prevalence of anemia among pregnant women from 17.69% to approximately 4–5%, and a decrease in chronic energy deficiency from 5.06% to 2.1%. In addition, the knowledge level of health cadres improved substantially after training. In conclusion, the holistic empowerment of pregnant women integrated with the active involvement of cadres, families, and cross-sectoral support is effective in improving maternal health status and reducing stunting risk factors from the prenatal period.

Abstract

Abstract

Progressive steps must be taken immediately to improve the quality of madrasa management. The management hopes a paradigm, approach, and creative change will be realised systematically and continuously in the teacher's mentality. In improving it, it is indeed challenging to apply the techniques of Islamic institutions. However, all efforts to improve the quality of these concepts can have positive implications in the future. To achieve management work goals, create coordination and communicate with representatives in a way that guarantees results, good management requires more practice in relationship management. Implementing madrasah-based management (MBM) to improve the quality of Islamic education is necessary and must be implemented immediately. MBM has madrasah autonomy in determining decision-making. MBM aims to strengthen madrasas. Lastly, madrasas can improve the abilities of all madrasah residents so that madrasas can take the initiative and innovate to improve the quality of learning in madrasah.
