Abstract

Guru kelas di SD Inklusi di Yogyakarta menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada siswa dengan ADHD. Salah satu tantangan yang mereka hadapi adalah Guru pendamping khusus (GPK) yang dapat memberikan bantuan. Tanggung jawab guru untuk siswa dengan ADHD melampaui ruang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta yang bertugas mendampingi siswa dengan gangguan attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD). Pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru kelas sebagai objek penelitian. Informasi dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendidik yang menangani siswa yang memiliki ADHD menghadapi sejumlah tantangan dalam memfasilitasi pendidikan mereka. Masalah pertama adalah kurangnya guru GPK yang tersedia untuk membantu anak-anak yang menderita ADHD. Ini menempatkan tuntutan tambahan pada guru kelas yang sudah sibuk. Tantangan kedua adalah perilaku siswa yang sulit diatur dan sulit diatur. Kendala ketiga adalah terkait dengan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Guru kelas seringkali menghadapi kesulitan dalam membuat RPP khusus untuk siswa ADHD, karena mereka menganggap proses pembelajaran siswa ADHD sama dengan siswa normal. Kendala keempat adalah terkait dengan media pembelajaran. Guru kelas seringkali menghadapi kendala dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk membantu siswa ADHD memahami materi pembelajaran. Kendala terakhir adalah terkait dengan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Guru kelas menghadapi tantangan dalam menyediakan tempat khusus untuk melayani dan berkonsultasi dengan siswa ADHD.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini berguna untuk mengetahui perilaku komunikasi anak down syndrome dalam interaksi sosial di salah satu sekolah inklusi di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus jenis single case. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perilaku komunikasi anak down syndrome dalam interaksi sosial. Subjek penelitian ini adalah satu siswi down syndrome. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi dan wawancara. Pemeriksaan kebenaran data dilaksanakan dengan uji kredibilitas berupa uji triangulasi, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis model Spradley dengan melalui tahapan analisis domain, analisis taksonomi, analisis komponensial, dan analisis tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak down syndrome belum cukup baik dalam perilaku komunikasi interaksi sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Peran guru di sekolah inklusi dapat membantu perkembangan perilaku komunikasi anak yang dapat dikembangkan melalui aktivitas yang berfokus pada hal yang memikat ketertarikannya dan melibatkan kegiatan motorik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada kelas I dan IV SD Muhammadiyah Kragan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas I, guru kelas IV, guru tata usaha/TU, komite sekolah, 3 peserta didik kelas I, dan 3 peserta didik kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Kragan. Objek penelitian ini yaitu kendala dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka secara mandiri berubah. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka mengalami dua kendala antara lain kendala internal, yaitu faktor-faktor penghambat yang bersumber dari dalam lingkungan sekolah dan proses pembelajaran itu sendiri, meliputi pemahaman guru terhadap implementasi kurikulum, perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyerap materi, dan tingkat partisipasi peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Di sisi lain, kendala eksternal, yang merupakan faktor-faktor penghambat yang berasal dari luar lingkungan sekolah dan proses pembelajaran langsung, mencakup ketersediaan bahan ajar yang memadai dan kondisi sarana prasarana yang mendukung pelaksanaan kurikulum. Memperhatikan kendala internal dan eksternal krusial dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka untuk memastikan efektivitas pembelajaran dan keberhasilan mencapai tujuan kurikulum. Mengatasi kedua jenis kendala ini secara proaktif menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan mendukung keberlanjutan implementasi kurikulum.

Abstract

Down syndrome adalah kondisi genetik yang mempengaruhi orang dan menyebabkan masalah fisik dan psikologis pada individu yang memilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan dan penjelasan tentang interaksi sosial anak down syndrome dengan teman sebaya dan guru. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, anak down syndrome selain masalah internal juga menghadapi masalah eksternal. Objek penelitian ini adalah perilaku sosial anak down syndrome dalam hal komunikasi, berkolaborasi, dan perilakunya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Jenis yang digunakan adalah jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada Februari hingga Mei 2023, mengungkapkan bahwa anak down syndrome memiliki keterbatasan dalam perkembangan berpikir dan berkomunikasi. Keterbatasan dalam komunikasi dimana anak memiliki bahasa yang terbatas dan artikulasi yang tidak jelas. Kebutuhan akan bimbingan atau arahan yang konstan dan berulang dari seorang guru. Dengan adanya bimbingan atau arahan oleh guru dapat membantunya dalam berinteraksi dengan baik dan berperilaku secara lebih terarah kepada teman dan guru

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based norm teaching modules in improving the creative thinking skills of grade V students of SD N Tempursari. The study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one group pretest posttest. The research subjects amounted to 20 students in class V, consisting of 7 boys and 13 girls. The data collection instrument was in the form of a creative thinking skills questionnaire which included indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, supported by observation and documentation. The data was analyzed by comparing pretest and posttest scores and calculating N-gain score. The results showed an increase in the average score of creative thinking skills from 2.28 to 3.22 with an N-gain value of 55.24% in the medium category. These findings show that PBL based norm teaching modules are quite effective in improving the creative thinking skills of elementary school students. This teaching module has the potential to be an alternative contextual learning tool that supports the development of 21st century skills, especially in norm learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Science literacy is an essential competency that needs to be developed from elementary school, particularly in planning and evaluating scientific investigations as emphasized in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) framework. However, learning science in elementary schools is often still dominated by conceptual teaching, resulting in limited opportunities for students to engage in scientific investigations. This study aimed to analyze the ability of fifth-grade elementary school students to plan and evaluate scientific investigations on the topic of the respiratory system. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method and was conducted at an elementary school in Semarang Regency. The participants were all 54 fifth-grade students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test developed based on PISA science literacy indicators, including identifying scientific questions, designing investigationsancang and evaluating investigations, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to obtain mean scores, percentages, and ability categories. The results showed that students’ ability to plan scientific investigations was in the moderate category with an average score of 70.74, while their ability to evaluate scientific investigations was in the good category with an average score of 83.10. These findings indicate that students are relatively better at interpreting data and drawing conclusions than at planning investigation procedures. Therefore, science learning in elementary schools should emphasize balanced scientific inquiry activities to enhance students’ science literacy skills in accordance with the PISA framework.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify elementary school students’ ability to plan and evaluate scientific inquiry in the context of the effect of light on plant growth. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The participants were fifth-grade elementary school students from a private school. Data were collected using a written multiple-choice test developed based on indicators of planning and evaluating scientific inquiry within the PISA 2025 framework. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative techniques by calculating scores and percentages of students’ achievement. The results showed that students’ ability to plan scientific inquiry was in the moderate category, with an average score of 74.86, while their ability to evaluate scientific inquiry was in the low category, with an average score of 64.00. Students were generally able to identify phenomena and investigation objectives; however, they experienced difficulties in identifying variables, formulating hypotheses, designing systematic procedures, and evaluating the appropriateness of procedures and data reliability. These findings indicate that elementary school students’ abilities to plan and evaluate scientific inquiry have not yet developed optimally. Therefore, science learning should emphasize inquiry-based approaches that explicitly train scientific inquiry skills in accordance with the PISA 2025 framework.

Abstract

Collaborative skills are important skills that elementary school students need to have because they play a significant role in supporting learning success, especially in group activities that require communication, cooperation, and joint problem solving. In reality, students' collaborative skills are still not optimally developed. This study aims to develop a PBL-based Pancasila Education teaching module that can improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. The development process begins with a needs analysis, followed by the design and development of teaching modules, implementation in learning activities, and evaluation to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The results of the study indicate that the PBL-based Pancasila Education teaching module developed is able to encourage students to actively collaborate. This teaching module is effective for use as teaching material and has the potential to improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Developing effective communication abilities represents a fundamental educational objective at the elementary level. Nevertheless, social studies instruction in primary schools frequently maintains a teacher-dominated approach, limiting opportunities for students to cultivate their communicative competencies. This investigation focuses on designing an instructional module centered on the needs and wants concept, utilizing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) methodology to enhance fourth-grade students' communication capabilities. The study employs Research and Development (R&D) methodology, implementing the ADDIE framework encompassing five sequential phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Twenty-five fourth-grade students from SDN Ngemplak 3 participated as research subjects. Data collection utilized expert validation instruments, communication skills assessment tools, and student feedback questionnaires. Validation outcomes revealed that the developed module achieved a mean score of 3.57 on a four-point scale, classified as "Very Good." Effectiveness testing demonstrated enhancement in students' communication skills, evidenced by the progression from a mean pretest score of 62.40 to a posttest mean of 82.60, yielding an N-Gain coefficient of 0.53 (moderate improvement category). Student responses toward the instructional activities proved favorable. Consequently, the PjBL-based module addressing needs and wants demonstrates both feasibility and effectiveness in advancing elementary students' communication skills. Abstract

Scientific literacy is a crucial competency that must be developed from the elementary school level, yet PISA results indicate that Indonesian students' scientific literacy remains relatively low, partly due to the limited scientific inquiry activities in science learning. This study aims to identify the level of fifth-grade elementary school students' abilities in planning scientific inquiry on water cycle material based on the PISA Framework 2025. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method with 55 fifth-grade students from SDN K in the 2025/2026 academic year selected through total sampling technique. Theresearch instrument consisted of 10 multiple-choice questions that had been validated and tested for reliability, with data analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that 59% of students have good abilities in planning scientific inquiry with an average score of 68.73, while 42% of students remain in the low and very low categories with a high standard deviation of 25.46, indicating significant ability variation among students. This study concludes that fifth-grade students at SDN K possess good ability levels in planning scientific inquiry competence; however, more intensive learning improvement effortsare needed for students in the low category to enhance scientific literacy comprehensively.
